100 Hours in Turkey 🇹🇷 Epic TURKISH STREET FOOD Tour in Istanbul & Across Türkiye!

- Turkey, over 5 years and multiple trips, has taught me that food here is a way of life. Every region, city and village has its own recipes, its own dish. Their food is a part of their identity.
I’m in Istanbul. Not the capital of Turkey, but certainly one of histories most important cities. Istanbul, formerly known as Constantinople is where east meets west. This is where we start the journey but soon we’ll cross the turqiouis waters of the Bosphorus and dive deep into Anatolian Asia.
Of the many foods the Turk’s are proud to call theirs’. There may not be one more symbolic than the Turkish delight.
Welcome to Chopstick Travel I'm Luke Martin and this is a film made using over 100 hours spent filming compiled into an extensive but certainly not exhaustive documentary about the Food in Turkey (Türkiye).

I've traveled all over the world but Turkey simply had the best food. I would recommend Turkey to everyone, for me it is the best cuisine in the world. 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇹🇷 well done Turkey!
Yep. and we are proud of that. But that comes with it's negative sides. Turks experience very much high diffucilties on adjusting to another cuisine. simply we don't find it attractive, like it or find it tasty enough. The positive side is almost anywere they'll go they bring their cuisine with themselves.
7 years of Travelling to Turkey, I would like to call this country my 2nd home. Great culture, lovely and kind people, fantastic food and gives you a nice vibe. When compared to Greece, hands down Turkey wins our vote. Will i ever go to Greece. Well may be not....Will i go to Turkey....YESSSSS ofcourse every year !!!!!

Teşekkürler ❤

Hi Luke you are killing me showing all my favorite breakfast and kebabs greetings from Texas.
a great show I would like to go to Türkiye
You would love it brother
There are many varieties. They attach great importance to visuality and cleanliness.A truly gastronomy country.
I think the most delicious food in the world is cooked in Türkiye. Food cultures are very developed.
The Best Of Gastronomy.. Türkiye...
Turkey is one of my favourite holiday destinations. The food is on another level. Looking foward to watching this long video over the next few days. All the best X
Turkish food is the one of Best food in the entire world. Shawarma doner kebab and baklava Turkish coffee and much more
Turkish food is trash and bad spices..No thanks
You're truly a quality tourist. Welcome to our homeland! ❤🤍
You are a very professional and serious gourmet and traveler!
I’m so happy to watch your videos every week and know how persistent you are!

@@LukeMartin It is my biggest honor, thanks to you too!
Take good care! Happy travels! 👍🥰🙏
Türkiye'deki yemekler, dünyadaki bütün insanların damak zevkine her zaman uygundur😌 et, vejeteryan, bakliyat, tatlı... Ne isterseniz🔥
I can't believe how much time you put into this and what delicious food, keep it up, greetings from the Netherlands
Ülkemizin yemeklerini tanıttığın için bu kadar uzun olarak teşekkürler ediyorum.
the best cuisine in the world...
such a speacial country ,the bridge between europe and asia.
13:35 this is called "acıbadem" which is the almond cookie that you can find in any bakery in turkey. i dont like cookies in general but this thing is A BLAST. french macarons became popular in recent years also in turkey but if you ever try acıbadem, you'll see macaron is weak AF.
Thanks for the wonderful long video. It's really entertaining and your videos are even better than before. Well done and please keep it up 👍😁
The most beautiful Country
As a Turk I can confirm that the places that you visited are the ones I would pick as a local. You either had a good guide or you searched well enough before visiting those places. I could not see overhyped places that many vloggers think they are the original ones. Good catches bro! If you visit Ankara, let me know.
Turkish factories are spotless clean
Try some Tulum Peyniri ( Tulum Cheese ) in Izmir which you could find it in Karshiyaka Charshisi ( ask lokals where to find Havva Kara.Ones you get there just say En Iyi tulum peynirinden 150 gram lütfen )with fresh warm crispy Gevrek which you can find also in Karshiyaka Charshisi - Simit Sarayi. proceed inside order some Tea and enjoy the soul of Türkiye.
Try to find secret gems about food everyone just eat street foods we have hundreds of choices, especially homemade foods and Ottoman foods. Everyone just visit İstanbul or tourist sides and show similar foods. But you show more foods than others thank you and welcome back again to Türkiye :)
Watching these long form videos is really nostalgic, so many awesome dishes and memories 😊
Thank you for bringing us along to all these places 🙏
Thanks Al! Turkish food is definitely one of the best. Can't wait to go back again soon
Welcome back to Turkey Luke Martin.
Thank you!
🇹🇷🤘🐺 as bayraklari as.
You should come visit Mersin I am from New York but now my husband and I live here
i was shocked to see this comment, a truly underrated clean city. me and my family have an apartment there with my nan but live most of the time in ankara with the rest of my family.
Hi Luke. Great Content. One remark: Bosphorus is not a river. It is a sea strait. This is why you see that great color and tens of dolphins chasing sardines most of the time!
We love you Luke. Gaziantep is the city of Gastronomy.
Love Gaziantep
Istanbul is not capital of Turkiye, Ankara is. It is a good collage though. Thanks.
He already told that Istanbul isn't the capital city. Also there is an explanation on description section under the video about it.
by far the best cuisine in the world no country can reach this food culture after seeing these dishes I realized why Turks do not lose wars
I would love this as its a beautiful cultural country with lots of history behind it
only seasoned traveler/ food blogger like you would be able to come up with this hungry-for-more content. keep it up!
More to come!
…Towards the end of the video, I heard a Kurdish song performed by the guys on the street , that was an eye and ear catching. A pure talent steaming out😍

@@sami6393 there's almost nothing in northern cyprus, just casinos and hotels, oh and mediocre restaurants...
dear Luke. which meal did you love the most in Turkey?
😍😍
Best food
Your guide didnt take you to Topçu döner in Antalya, which is the absolut best.
Patented recipe technology for backlava for diabetic people? :) “add less sugar”. 😊
Hi Luke, what a great video. I also love Türkiye, especially as my boyfriend is from Türkiye, and I very much look forward to return there in autumn. I am now 1 hour into it, and really look forward to watch more of it. For example: I eat very little meat, and dont eat intestines and head meat and stuff like that. I love manti and yogurt soup with spicy oily mint on it. He absolutely hates those things. So we are quite different in some matters. However, we both love each other a lot, and totally respect that we are from different cultures. And that is wonderful and makes me very happy.
I understand that you need sponsors. But the marketing you are doing is now too much for me. I will still stop watching for now, because I am getting really annoyed.
I really like the yogurt soup with mint! Kind of strange at first but then its great. Anything with eggplant and manti also great
so nice video
Luke şeker komasına girmiştir 😂😂😂oğlum Bu kadar tatlı dedirilir mi 🤣🤣
Visit Cyprus Luke u will not be disappointed with friendly and beautiful people xxxx
People with Diabetes could take Mullberries so the Purple Baklava I am thinking it was made with Purple Mullberies!!!!
You said you had a link where to purchase these Turkish delights since they're a factory
Luke thank you for a very long video! I will do my best to watch it all! Much love.
Hope you enjoy it!
Welcome to Türkiye Luke ı hope you enjoyed
Is this a compilation of all your turkey videos or is it 3 hours of new content? 🤔
❤
👏👏👏
Did he say the baked stuffed bread with meat and the other with cheese cost 100 Lira?? I didn't understand what he said

20:34 we in Jakarta Indonesia have similar food like that, name is Martabak telur and we have the sweet ones call Martabak Manis it can contains cheese, chocolate, peanut butter etc or mixed u should try it bro here in Indonesia u Must be amazed
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Was it old video or new one? I thought i watched it
bro, could you please put every add you visit thanks
Are you in Turkey right now? April and it’s hot?
Weather continously changes during the spring times in Türkiye
58:35 domatese ne sürdü 🤣
How much did the 29 plates of breakfast in the little house cost you in US dollers? I’m going to Turkey next year with my church. So the money they use is called lire?
The money they use is called LIRA
dolar 6 lira filan vay aq ama güzel yerler seçmiş yemek için
Thats crazy. You would be crazy to go there. If you go to Russia, stay in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Sochi or Yekatrinberg. I'd say St Petersburg is the best. Its Peter the Great's window to the West, its close to Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, theres the Peterhof Palace, the Winter Palace made famous by the Bolshevik Revolution, Nevsky Prospect made famous by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, then the Hermitage Museum with its paintings and Faberge eggs. - the city that influences Russian history - Lenin hailed from here spreading communism from here - Putin hails from here, most FSB - Russian KGB and siloviki hail from this city.
If you don't have original kaymak, use Philadelphia with honey. It's poor but taste rich
Brooo 3 hour.... omg. l whatced all... U need to go not only west of Turkiye... Eastern Turkiye have most delicious food. Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep... You will see the diffence.
Gracias Luke por mostrar la cultura gastronómica de de Turquía, tus videos son muy educativos y de excelente calidad. Un Saludo desde Colombia y cuídate mucho.
Turkey, meat under bread, meat on bread, meat wrapped in bread and diversity is meat next to bread lol
15 Turkish Lira nearly 3$? This must be years ago! 15 Turkish Lira = 50 $-Cent
I agree, these old compilations are really undermining the reality of it today. Please remove prices and put dates in your video, otherwise they are very deceiving
Haha yes that’s why I don’t put prices anymore
Always stay blessed
Came adıyaman
Welcome to Istanbul
