I go through periods of time when I don’t go, then all of a sudden I’ll have to go there multiple times for different things haha it’s definitely a good place to have nearby when you need it.
Why so cute boy? Informative video, everything seemed on point . Good job teaching all the functions of this tester. I got 1, it works great, at a great price too
Thank you! So far I’ve been very happy with this thing especially for the price. Harbor freight has stepped there game up a lot in the past few years vs what it used to be.
It should work on any 12v battery for vehicles. It just places a load to see if your battery is capable of dishing out the power needed while maintaining a proper voltage.
That’s definitely the correct way to test a battery. But for the money, I think it’s a fine deal. It also gives you at least a general idea of your battery condition. Think, if your battery fails with 100 amp load it’s definitely going to with half cca load. Thank you for the good information.
Very interesting. Good tool to have. Haven't been to harbor freight in a while. I like that store. Thanks for the video.

Skipped around the cuteness.. ;)
I bought mine at Harbor Freight 30 years ago. The device hasn't changed.
That’s good to know it’s been around a while. I’ve used this thing quite a few times now and it’s definitely paid for itself.
Is it for a diesel car?

The problem is u should be putting half the load of the cca ratings on the battery. And that tester might pull only 120 amps.
