Great video! I would not want to use a Super Mario 64 computer! Startup takes so long that it plays all Windows and Mac sounds only to be immediately infected with a virus! Also its so funny that the Windows 10 sounds still make me want to pull my hair out even in Mario 64 soundfont! 😂

You got audio on the out-of-the-box wizard if XP had drivers for your sound card. Without any modding or OEM support, that was most 90's PCI sound cards as well as Intel integrated audio for 2001 chipsets (ICH/ICH2), but nothing beyond that.
Windows 8/8.1 actually had unique sounds that 10 ended up replacing, such as Background, Foreground, Message Nudge, the Notify variants, User Account Control, and Notify System Generic. The hardware sound effects are shared, though. Would recommend going back over those.

Can you please do PlayStation, SNK, Capcom, Microsoft, Sega, and Nintendo consoles next in Mario 64 form (so for PlayStation it would be PlayStation 1-5 and also Portable and VR, for Microsoft it would be all of the XBox consoles, for Capcom it would be all of the Capcom Master System consoles, for Sega it would be all the Sega consoles, for SNK it would be all the Neo Geo consoles, and for Nintendo it would be all the Nintendo consoles that are both handheld and home ones and all of these would be the most obscure to the most popular consoles please and thanks man)??

I don't know about the shutdown sound because they use the same shutdown sound from Windows Vista in 8 and 10. I don't know about 11
