@@DerekDavis213 "that reviews Tesla's self driving". Uhmn...there isn't such a thing. Auto pilot is really just an adaptive cruise control with lane keep. Fsd beta is software that tells you up front it's a system that may do the worst possible thing at the worst possible time. His whole point is that other systems by other manufacturers are comparable to Tesla's, but never any headlines about them being unable to be full self-driving. Your comment about singling out Tesla is just more proof of the bias.

"FSD will drive you from Los Angeles to New York, door to door, automatically"
Musk said that 5 years ago. In October of 2022, that is total bs. FSD is not even close to that level of performance!
People are waiting for FSD to safely take FULL control of the car, so we can sleep or eat or read a book while driving down the freeway. Tesla's FSD is totally primitive and buggy and not able to function as promised. Soon, there will probably be a class action lawsuit, so customers can recover the *millions* *of* *dollars* they have wasted on FSD.

This report included hands free driving while on GM super cruise it's legal to do so... I read the report and i found out that it quite a good results for GM super cruise as people are comfortable engaging it. Moreover, GM super cruise has a function of monitoring the driver and disengage the system if the driver violate certain rules such as phone using or not paying attention to the road and so..

I find that one the most alarming. Along with reading a book, phone apps, watching phone video. These are the most dangerous activities that demonstrate non-attendance to driving. Things like eating and talking to other passengers are easy to manage while watching the road ahead. In this respect, Tesla scores much worse than GM. This shows that there are still a significant number of people who believe Autopilot is far more advanced than it is.

Autopilot and Cruise at their core have very little in common. Where Tesla has billions of miles training its AI neural network 4D vision system including more and more edge cases, GM's like Ford's system relies on the 'guard rails' if existng maps, can't maneuver in challenging situations, etc. Plus, Tesla's driver cam, steering wheel sensor monitor the driver in real time.

As a Model Y owner, I like Autopilot - it works flawlessly.
However, as an FSD Beta tester of just 2 days - FSD is a joke.
In just 2 days of me playing around with it 4 times, it has gotten the car into situations that I had to take over, or a crash would have occurred.
I've waited 6 months to get FSD, and it finally showed up in an update and I had high expectations.
After watching about 100 TH-cams of FSD tooling around, I expected FSD to be on the level of a 15-year-old and Dad teaching it how to drive and take over occasionally.
What I got was a 10 year old so incompetent that there is no way I'll use FSD with the family in the car.
Very disappointed, and I stand by my prediction that FSD is going to be a typical "90% project" - it never gets to 100%, which is Level 4 autonomy. I don't know what it needs, but this is really bad.
