    This has to be the best exhaust sound comparison video I have ever witnessed! Good job, man!

    Damn without baffles sounds great especially when the Vtec kicks in

    You've actually gone to the effort of giving us an accurate, like-for-like comparison which is very useful. Thanks.
    I'll be buying a pre-Vtec VFR800 in the next week or two so I'm after ideas and familiar with your videos.

    Stock < Delkevic < Delkevic without baffles
    Sounds so much better. Much more throaty and removing the baffles adds an extra rasp to that sound again.

    • @HeroRR
      @HeroRR  7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I agree, especially when it hits VTEC (yo) you can really hear it open up without the baffle! I love it!

    Because of this video I'm going to get a VFR800 and Delkevic exhaust. Love the sound! Great video!

    Since this is a more of a relaxed easy going, sport touring bike i would go with baffles in.

    Yes! Wow this video is like the PERFECT EXHAUST VIDEO. No bullshit, just very high-quality recording with stock, baffle-in, baffle-out, both onboard and from the curb. Perfect. Why can't everyone's exhaust videos be just like this? No corny fucking music, no 20 minutes of talking, just perfect. Good job man. And by the way, that fucking Delvic exhaust sounds absolutely amazing. Both with the baffle and without it.

    That CP V4 though.. Incredibly better sound than pansy flat-plane straight 4s..

    Excellent video comparison HeroRR!! Personally I loved it with the baffles in, baffles out seems to have a raspy noise when full acceleration but has a nicer idle, either way you are 100% right. The vfr800 must have the Delkevic exhaust, there is no contest for a better sounding system!

    Delkevic ROCKS! I have them on my 03 VTR1000 and it really puts teeth in the roar of the bike. Baffles out of course. Best underrated exhaust on the market. Quality control is top notch.

    Before I bought my Ninja 1000, I heavily considered purcahsing a VFR800 & setting up it for sport touring. The main reason? The sound of that V4's exhaust note, especially w/aftermarekt cans- just pure aural sex. The Delkevis sound good! Thanks for the comparo.

    All sounds good. Five years ago I heard a Delkevic setup on the kind of motorcycle I have, and now it's the only version I would want to install. Possibly this year is it.
    BTW, what were you using for the "on board" audio? All my attempts get way too much wind noise or mechanical noise.

  • @mlschaap
    @mlschaap 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It sounds absolutely great!!. I have the same VFR, but with LeoVince. I have the baffles out, but I put in a restrictor that makes the diametre 10mm smaller than when it is totally open. Sounds great, but not so crazy loud as without baffles. But I love your Delkevics!!!

    I had a pair of the Delkevic 8" mini carbon with that same wide outlet on my Z1000. Fantastic exhaust for the money, really. I'd buy them again if I had the funds right now. Good folks, too.

    Hi HEROrr, relatively new subscriber here.
    I found your channel through your VFR videos which have been great by the way, and I remember your turtle video on Moto Madness a while back. This video has pretty much persuaded me to remove the baffles from my Delkevics which I've kept for the last 4 months because I tried to avoid being "that neighbour" in the mornings, but it really doesn't sound too different unless you're in the VTEC band!
    Anyways keep it up brother!

  • @russianwolfhound1

    I echo Edvin's sentiments about this being one of the better exhaust sound videos on TH-cam. It's effective and straight to the point.
    There's none of the usual time-wasting "walk around for a minute or two" before firing it up stuff going on here. More importantly, this video mercifully has none of the typical "stationary only" sound clip idiocy going on here either. Just a well recorded, real world comparison of how the exhausts sound like from both a rider's and watcher's perspective.
