Having just watched about 25 different videos on TickTick, this one is by far the most useful for showing things that are not obvious! I appreciate the details you provide - for example, the stats and how the pomo timer works in the agenda view. I did not even know those existed and like I said, I just watched a ton of videos. Great and relevant content, much thanks!
Great to hear that! I was also watching a ton of those and wanted to highlight the things that I didn't see often. I got most of these tips from various podcasts.
after watching your video, I have finally purchased the tick tick premium version and im glad i did and it helped me organise my life so much... dang bro... the production quality of your videos is so high!! love the content. recommended your channel to my family and friends :) i hope u get lots of success on TH-cam. Loved this tick tick tutorial/in depth review.
This is so nice to hear! My goal with this video was to at least help one person make their life better ✅ Thank you for watching! Will be doing more in TickTick for sure! And other little tricks that I find!
@@warrenjoseph76 just customise according to your personal preferences and needs and don't over do the customisation. Focus on the tasks and it wont feel extra.
I cannot understand why productivity TH-camrs love Todoist and not TickTick. Yes, TickTick does not have a pretty interface but has much more functionality
Great video, thx! @4:55 you mention how you can pull items from Arrange Tasks for "UNSCHEDULED TASKS"...this is a a MAJOR flaw. I created FILTERS like Today, Tomorrow, Priority, etc and then it picks up all my tasks, but Arrange Tasks do not allow you to view any tasks that are scheduled. This is insane! I dont understand this...am I missing something? I thought I'd ask your opinion...thx.
I think as you put in tomorrow or today, it already puts them into the calendar as full day evens for you. That's what it does for me. And then I can rearange them from there.
Is it possible to set a notification for one task both based on the position and the time as well as an insurance, when the task can be completed at the latest, if I do not arrive in the area? So the notification would pop up depending on what happened sooner, location or the time?
Yea, just set it to a time, I mostly do this with the calendar and then simply add a location reminder as well. You can only add a location on your phone I think. Here's a link to help you do it: help.ticktick.com/articles/7055782395743567872
@@MarioDuch It doesn't seem to work. If I give a reminder based only on the location, the reminder pops up as soon as I arrive at the location. But if I assign a location reminder to the task and a the task time as well, then after reaching the location, the notification does not work and it is reminded only at the set time.
I see what you mean, thought that was going to work. Anyway, you can contact them directly here and ask about it, they are very nice people and for sure get back to you as soon as possible! ticktick.com/v2/tickets/create/problem
I actually think the pricing is pretty fair for everything that you're getting, since it's all the other productivity apps in one. But at the same time, you're right that it probably scares people off.
@@MarioDuch yeah it’s great price, comparing to other who offer = or < from tick tick but with fancy stuff and design. Although i appreciate the beauty but X 15 of tick tick price is wild 😝 Wasn’t about their price , it was a joke about other apps who gone wild in price charges Wish you the best, great channel
Excellent, well-paced, direct, jump-right-into-what matters and how-to do the basics review. With yours, and after watching just a few others, Tick Tick does appear that it would be a better fit for me than Todoist - that I have been using for a year. Having a means to look at performance over time is exciting and a game changer - hoping the record/history will extend over time. So I’m pretty sure I’ll give Tick Tick a try, trusting that I won ‘t end up with the multiple gripes that I have with Todoist. I trust that I can easily end a repeating task and or back date something I want to record a week later, as some examples of issues I can’t easily do in todoist. I was able to create subtasks to tasks within projects - with subtasks to those - that reset when complete - fairly typical in moderately complex projects - but utilizing those setups in Todoist falls short. One question following a comment another reviewer who switched over to Tick Tick mentioned: he said that he was not able to seamlessly mass load his tasks from Todoist into Tick Tick - which isn’t a big surprise. Have you heard of a way to do this - I have a bunch?
Thanks for the kind words. I have also used todoist before discovering ticktick, but I didn't use it too much so I didn't look for a way to load my tasks over. I would recommend contacting ticktick's support them either by email or on their instagram. They are very nice people to chat with!
@@MarioDuch Thanks, Mario. Good to know there are real / nice people who communicate - so far. Another plus. I’ll let you know how my trial goes. I have already set up a few start up tasks.

Ok be real. 2 weeks later how much use are you getting out of this or does it seem like more work than before to get organized?

Well I guess by choice some will still stay blind. 😏😏
