    I heard Schumacher required some more practice riding race bikes in competition, he did not have the feel on the brakes and was usually too hard on the fronts and therefor squirrelly into turns. I get it though, this completely relates to his vast F1 experience, the braking technique is quite different with 4 wheels, ideally you want most of the braking performance to come from the front axle, this is true for a motorcycle as well but where an F1 car comes into its own is executing aggressive late braking maneuvers on the razors edge of a lock-up, attempt that on a bike and you're going over the handle bars.
    I would love to see Schumacher participate in anything now a days, so shitty he's in the current state, hope to god he is able to make progress, even tiny incremental progress and some day he'll make the decision to be back in the public eye. The total media blackout is frustrating, I respect it, giving the family privacy is important if that is what they want but as a fan and well wisher, it is tough. Sure there are always gawkers out there looking to stir the pot and snag a photo of Michael in a compromised and deteriorated state but mostly there is great love and concern for this man and his family. His popularity can serve many ends, meaning there is great strength to be gained by Michael Schumacher and family through sharing his tragic story and journey forward with the fans, the well wishers and numerous people with relatable injuries, such positive support for the guy could go good things for him and the community of patients he is now a part of. I am sure this is an idea he and his family will come around to when the time is right down the road. What a man, nothing but love and respect, I'll remember him as the toughest of competitors!

    So no one recognises Randy Mamola coaching him?

      Europeans usually don't pay attention to Americans even if they are racing legends. It goes both ways, so it's ok I guess.

      @@johncarl5505 sorry, but that's BS. I'm European. It doesn't matter where riders come from especially if they are legends like RM.

    Neck injury with bikes, brain injury sking. He didn't retire from speed. Personally I think he was living a new life, trying to, but come 2009 massa injury, the old driving drug returned, like a addiction. Retiring didn't go to plan, it was his hardest challenge.

    The super bikes are great but they feel like street bikes when you ride them, motogp bikes are more like f1 but they are bikes and they are hard to control easily.
    So I see why he went superbikes.

    What?...F1 is boring and Talentless...LOL, greatest jokes of ALL FUCKING TIME!!!...F1 car driver need balls and talent to menure that fucking open wheel BEAST!!!...SO, I always dream of driving one F1 car...

    • @petehuskins
      @petehuskins 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The drivers are clearly talented but the overall racing and lack of overtaking etc makes it a pretty dull sport to watch. Sorry mate, but even many die-hard F1 fans agree in private. They need to go back to the rules and tech of the 70s, super close and thrilling racing.

  • @StigRossi
    @StigRossi 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Errrm if you crash an F1 car, unless you're VERY unlucky you will be uninjured but if you crash a bike it WILL hurt and you have a decent chance of breaking a bone. Sooo who's got more balls now?

  • @sriranganferrari
    @sriranganferrari 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    But still...Need Balls of steel to drive F1 CAR...They are mental and trys to kill you...Bikes need balls too...
