So, background on Come Back Home. The song is a remake of a classic song by a legendary Korean hip-hop group called Seo Taiji and Boys. Seo Taiji is called the Father of K-pop, and is considered a cultiral icon in Korea. In 2017 he chose BTS to participate in his 25th anniversary event. Their remake of CBH was part of an album of Seo Taiji's song recorded by various artists. He also had BTS perform with him at his anniversary concert and considers BTS his spiritual successors.

The stadium crowds can get so loud, the guys can hear them through the in-ears. There's even a clip showing where the crowd was so loud at one stadium that they damaged the sound barrier. I think that was at Wembley, but I'm not certain. They know how to work a crowd.

This show is called a Muster. It’s basically a concert and fan meeting. They are done only official members of the BTS ARMY fan club. Getting to go is really a big deal. This performance is from the Korean 4th muster. BTS do Musters for their Japanese fans as well. They also do Festas which are usually done in June to celebrate their debut.
Ohhhh this is the one where Suga's mic was out so RM and others picked up his part.

@@sandys1890 Actually no it's not, you can spot him messing with his inears before he just pulls them out completely and he doesn't rap for the rest of the song even though he had other parts which jhope picked up. He's also fussing with his mic pack and doesn't put his inears back in for the rest of the song. There's a clear technological malfunction going on.
This was at Muster, they have nothing to prove to a crowd of ARMYs. He's done it at an award show, that's it. There's a very clear difference between when Yoongi skips his verse to hear ARMY do it and this situation.
In Mic Drop Suga's microphone stopped working so RM being the professional he his took over Suga's part. It shows you what a good job he did because you didn't realise. You just thought the audience was singing his part until RM took over.

💜💜This was at 4th Muster. Every year BTS has a festival for registered Fan Members only. In addition to performances there are special VCR's where they do skits, play games and just talk with the crowd😊 These events used to be only Once a year and only in Korea now they've expanded to Japan with multiple shows🥺
BTS concerts are pilgrimages. Seriously, it’s difficult to even put into words the whole experience. Just lit! 💜
Mic Drop is most well known worldwide because it has most English and Steve Aoki is quite well known and respected in the West. It's also the easiest song for the West to digest because it's the one that shows easiest that they're not a "typical kpop boyband" being able to do hip hop not just pop and the mv shows off their video production, their excellent dance choreo all in one go so it's often the first that gets recommended to non-kpop fans.
The first song is old school. Its a cover of a 1995 song by Seo Taiji and the Boys called Come Back Home. Seo Taiji recently invited BTS to take part in his 25th anniversary concert

No More Dream is BTS 'first released song. And yes, MICDROP is one of those songs that if you like BTS you probably know that song.

This is a Muster concert (4th Muster), done only in Korea really. A muster has less songs performed than their typical concerts, & doesn't necessarily focus on just their recent albums. It's about half performances & half games/talking with the audience. They're fun & have some of my favorite performances by the boys to date.
1st song - "Come Back Home" - it's a cover of the song by Seo Taiji by the same name. Kind of a big deal, but that's a whole other thing to get into another time.
2nd song - "No More Dream" - It's their debut song from back in 2013
3rd song - "Mic Drop" - From the 'Love Yourself: Her' album in 2017

In the US , Mic drop & Boy with luv are their biggest songs in streams and sales , both songs Certified US platinum and sold almost 2M copies in the states. Their biggest songs Worldwide are DNA & Blood sweat & Tears & Fake love & Idol & Boy with luv, all these record sold an estimated +10M copies each worldwide .
You have to see them in Concert. If you're from Nebraska, I would suggest, Solider Field in Chicago but the one I'm getting on a plane for, if they re release concert dates, is the Rose Bowl out in California. You have never seen ARTISTs come out of the gate like BTS at a concert. They start hard, the whole concert is hard driving. They started off the Love Yourself concert with Dionysus and then went right in to NOT TODAY. Think of the cardio!!!! Unfucking Believable !!! Even the individual numbers don't let you relax because they are so meaningful. BTS goes for heart: grabs it, hugs it, kisses it, puts it back in your chest and then they go in for the kill. I've seen so many other artists in concert but these guys are the only ones I want to see again and again. Nothing like it in the world.
So comeback home is not their song, it's just like a cover, but it's one of my fave! No more dream is their debut single from 2013, there is a mv if you want to check it out! And Sugas mic or earpiece was off, so other guys took it over 🙂 Love your reactions as always! Keep it up! 👌😌🙏
it's not a cover, it's a remake..it's a different song but it's a remake of seo taiji's "come back home" cos he asked them to (he's basically the inventor of kpop)

The real point with Come Back Home is that the original artist, Seo Taiji, requested that BTS remake it to mark the 25th anniversary of the song. Seo Taiji & the Boys were considered THE original k-hiphop group in the early 90s and this request was an honour. As far as I know, this was BTS's only performance of the song not performed with the original artist.

I'm not sure that mic drop was the biggest song of bts. In my opinion Dope, Bapsea and Fire are biggest. But that is just my opinion. They have so many hit it's very dificult to said witch one is biggest. Lol

Munfu: ARMY does a (bracket) of all the BTS songs every year. They wittle the songs down. Then they do a sweet 16. I can't remember who won last year. I can tell you that SPRING DAY (KNOWN AS THE QUEEN OF BTS) came in first or second. She always does. For some reason; I think the Queen was dethroned last year. I'm thinking Young Forever or Truth Untold dethroned her. To me, this sweet 16 is harder to pick than the basketball sweet 16.
I'd say that in the western, MIC Drop may be their biggest most popular song. I mean it had two remixes with 2 american artists, one with Desiigner, and one with Steve Aoki. And it's there go to song when performing in america. But globally, especially in asia I think their most famous would be Fire. That song shot them to extreme popularity especially to international fans.
I think you're right. Mic Drop is one of their bigger songs. That and DNA seem to be most TH-cam reactors introduction to BTS from what i've seen. Mic Drop and DNA both are two songs that most easily show a good full spectrum of what BTS can do, so it's good intro if you haven't heard/seen them before. But yeah this is one of my favorite performances of theirs. This performance of Come Back Home, No More dream, and Mic Drop is the definition of hype.

This is actually their performance during the 2017 fan meeting which is called a Muster (since BTS' fans are called A.R.M.Y (Adorable Representative MC for Youth) or more popular as ARMY, so BTS use this term (which is normally used in the Military 🤭) to mean: to gather/to assemble). So, this is their 4th Muster held in Seoul, S.Korea. 'Come Back Home' is a remix classic song, a tribute to the SK kpop legend Seo Taiji and the Boys, so this song cannot be found in any BTS official albums. There's an MV for it but BTS were not in it.

The vocal line kills (JK raps in this one also), and the rap line pays homage to rap legends🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜
They have AMAZING energy live, seeing them in concert was really an experience for me, so dynamic and they grab your attention and hold onto it the entire time.

Some interesting facts about this song "Come Back Home" and its writer. It was written by Seo Taiji and the Boys but one of the "Boys" was actually Yang Hyun Suk former CEO of YG Entertainment. Seo Taiji and the Boys had 4 albums that Seo Taiji wrote and the boys did the background singing and the dancing. They had 4 albums but in 1996 Seo Taiji at the pinnacle of his career left the industry. Yang Hyun Suk took the money from the albums and started a company called YG after himself and never looked back. Seo Taiji has since come back w/o the boys and in 2017 did a concert with BTS mostly because of this cover of the song that BTS did in 2017. And yes they made a video for "Come Back Home" and it is fire. This concert btw is actually called the 4th Muster in it is a concert or series of concerts they do for their fans every January, I think this one was in Seoul, Korea. On the last song when you noticed the audience was finishing their words, something happened that was odd. Yoongi or Suga (stage name) started his verses and his mic wasn't working so the audience went ahead and finished his part until Leader RM realized what happened and started singing Suga's part. Mic Drop is one of their most popular song. But "I Need You" was their first No. 1 in Korea. "Fire" was the first to hit 1 World Wide, "Blood, Sweat and Tears" was world acclaimed 1st song to hit Hot 100 under 20, "Idol" was their 1st to get RIAA certified Platinum. The list goes on but the point is many songs are songs that BTS fans know by heart.
Second song they did - No More Dream - was their DEBUT song. The video is pretty different than their newer stuff and you can really see how far they've come.

It is the biggest in the US and MIC drop was a fan favorite as soon as it was released but within the fandom I don't really think it's the song that gets the most hype at concerts. In my experience, the crowd goes wild with the classics like Baepsae, the nostalgic feel about them adds to it, but that's just my experience

Is Mic Drop their biggest song? I think that's subjective as their biggest chart topping song in the US was Boy In Love. But for me, it is! Mic Drop is the song that got me into BTS! It showed up on my TH-cam feed one day and that was it, I was hooked!

So to answer your “biggest bts song” question, no...Mic Drop isn’t bts biggest song. It’s been said bts doesn’t have a “biggest song”, because if you ask ten different people, you’ll get ten different answers. Fake Love, Boy With Luv, Mic Drop, and Idol are pretty big here in the west mostly because they’ve done western tv shows with them. Most western reactors do start with mic drop, so yeah, it’s pretty big. But then you have songs like “Spring Day” which is super popular in Korea, and hasn’t left the charts in over three years. It’s the longest charting song in Korean history, if i’m not mistaken. Then you have songs like “I Need You” which got them their first music show win, or songs like “Fire” which is still very popular in Korea and used in Korean TV Shows till this day. “DNA” has almost a billion views on the MV since its release, and now “ON” has gotten bts so many new fans. When it comes down to it, it’s just boils down to personal opinion.
Edit: I looked it up, “Spring Day” IS the longest charting song in history, by any Korean artist just not KPOP, and hasn’t left the charts since its release three years ago. Give it up for the Queen fellas 🙌🏽

BTS HIGHLY influenced by American HipHop including streetwear BUT, this look is influenced by their mentors Seo Taiji and Boys (Korean) and mixing labels when NOT SPONSORED is bait for a sponsor and a big Japanese thing that all Asian rappers do. I know cuz I lived in Japan for 12 years and was part of the underground. So referencing everything to American HipHop Fashion is incorrect ,some came from inside Asia except all the U.S. sports, mainly basketball. We have our own cool ass streetwear, hiphop , skate and BOSS wear that many American artists took from us. HipHop fashion is hard core in EU, Africa and many other countries, yes, AMERICA started it but the world perfected it, same with the music! Just an FYI.
