What I love most about this performances besides EVERYTHING! But for this particular one is that how RM and J-HOPE rapped Suga's verse when he was having mic problems (which at the time and still most people thought it was to show the haters they don't lip sync which honestly BTS is beyond having to prove themselves to their haters or antis). BTS always have each other's backs and are pro and just automatically do what needs to be done even with tech issues.
Jin's vocals🙏 and his highnotes (vocal line in general), J-Hope's verse is my fav mostly because of his crazy outstanding flow and he is so versatile with his music as an artist in general and his tone and range of vocals(listening to this when it first came out, made me think of hitman Bang PD's intro lol anyone know what I'm talking about?I'm talking about his verse in the very beginning) Also I love how JHope gets everyone in the crowd hyped and of course his dancing. Jungkook is main vocalist but this guy can rap and I love it, he is the Golden Maknae for a reason afterall👌he is the best rapper in the vocal line and then it would be Jin. For rapline, best vocal would be J-HOPE (Golden Hyung) but Suga and RM can sing too and are good! Same with Jimin (Tony Montana) and Jin (I still can't erase when he rapped as August D aka Suga for their show, I loved it lol). Jungkook can honestly harmonize with anyone of the 7 members and make it sounds amazing, Infact most of their songs if you listen to their backup vocals you can hear him harmonizing with JHope which usually goes unnoticed by many. I absolutely love V's vocal range and love his deep soulful voice but also miss his deep low raspy rocker tone (idk how exactly to describe it but it's very catchy). RM 😎😏 proving he is the main rapper (personally I like all three and they bring something different but his voice hear is commanding when he raps) and leader for a reason. Suga with his mad swag and spitting them verses like he's about to throw fists, he is tongue technology for a reason - at times I get breathless just hearing him rap, even tho he is the one rapping.

No More Dream was their debut song when they were much more hip-hop based so it's really amazing to see their evolution since then. In case you weren't aware they'll be releasing a brand new album on April 12th and making their comeback stage on April 13th on SNL which is a huge deal for the boys.
12:59 see that pause made by Suga? He got a technical problem with his mic so he was not able to spit his bars and RM and Jhope backed him up. This also proves that BTS do really sing live and never fail to amaze us despite problems during the performances

It's from the Wings album and the member Jhope wrote the song for his mom, thanking her for always believing in his dream and helping him to achieve it even if it wasn't easy and how finally she can be proud of him because if how far he's come in life and he hopes to do the same for his own children one day. The Wings album itself is amazing, each member got their own exclusive song so you really get to see each of them shine in their own way. Would really like to see what you think! Come Back Home is actually by an artist called Seo Taiji. He was instrumental in the beginning of Kpop. At the time this song came out, there were thousands of teen runaways in S Korea. After the song started airing on the radio, they all started coming home...
The channel DKDKTV has a video about Seo Taiji called . It's really worth the watch. Before Seo Taiji people thought that rap could not be done with the Korean language.
(As a side note, it always bothers me that when BTS is interviewed in the US, they are always asked what American artist influences them. No one every asks them which Korean artists they listen to or are influenced by... pretty ethnocentric.)
yes, I'm so glad you brought this point up about American interviewers asking the same questions about what American artist influenced them or what American artist they hope to collab with. They always add "American" to the question, it's very narrow minded and as if the world outside the US doesn't exist.
Just about everything the average American does is ethnocentric- and I'm one of 'em. The interviews were so disappointing. Except Zach Sang, IMO.

@Bevan Again I'm referring to them being constantly asked by American interviewers what American artist they listen to and are inspired by. They are never asked what Korean artist (and it's more then just Seo Taiji out there thank you) or Artist from other countries they listen to. They are asked the same question over and over and over again. And they answer almost the same answer over and over and over again. It's lazy interviewing and reporting, it's narrow minded and gets old fast. If you don't fit in anywhere in this equation why do you keep repeating the same fact over and over on my comment. Stop trolling and move on.
There is actually a music video for No More Dream, it was the song they debuted with. Come Back Home was orginally by Seo Taiji and the Boys back in 1995 and Seo Taiji passed the Torch to BTS. They redid the song. Great reactions though I love how you analyze and appreciate the music. 💜

I love how you just kept rewinding and EVEN searched the KOREAN lyrics. Like most would just search the English translation coz they say "they wanna understand". There in Mic Drop, Suga is not rapping because he wanted to show that they never lipsync, they only have the background support because, sometimes, they do two things at a time in the same moment, so they need the background support. Hope you understand my bad english.

Did you know that there are color coded English lyric vids that not only have the English translation for the song but the English pronunciation of the Hangul Korean words so it will help you say them correctly in Korean. There is are lyric vids made for just this reason for all BTS songs. It will also most importantly understand their ever so meaningful & always inspirational lyrics. As incredibly outstandingly amazing BTS are for their songs, dancing abilities, vocals and rapping, the meaning of their songs are actually one of the main reasons BTS Bangtan Songyeondan = "BulletProof Boy Scouts" (Bangtan Boys for short) have such a diehard loyal following in their fans (army) since the very beginning.
If you see the translation to "No More Dream" BTS 2013 debut song you'll know why! The song keeps asking you "What is your dream" do you have a dream and to never give up your hope, desires & dreams trying to do what society says, what's expected of you, your parents dreams at the cost of losing yourself and you hopes and dreams! It tells you to never give up, keep fighting for yourself, love yourself and keep hope alive! RM even talked about this in his speech he gave at the U.N. how that at age 10 he lost his own identity denying himself trying to live others dreams for him and doing what was expected of him. Thus us why they perform do passionately & emotionally because they believe in everything they're singing about! Also that is why the audience of army responds so loudly back to them!
BTS have become spokespeople worldwide for so many not jus disenfranchised youth who aren't sake to speak for themselves but for every one who might have given up the will or desire to ting hit for themselves as wells telling & showing how important it is to love yourself which in turn is the answer to dealing with all the hardships that will come your way. BTS have literally saved lives and gave given back hope!
I really hope you check out all their performances from their 2015 BTS HYYH Concert. There are even English subtitles on screen for most of those songs if you type in Eng sub when looking. For BTS it's always good to type in Eng Sub or just Eng even when looking for anything. Also don't forget to use the CC button if there is one so you can always make sure to see those do important English subtitles!!
