Are you wondering how is the experience if you book an obstructed view balcony in Royal Caribbean? Then this video is for you. I have made exhausted effort in showing the various scenes from the Deck 7 balcony I booked when we cruised to New Zealand.
This will give you an idea how is it to cruise from Deck 7. Note there are two (2) decks one can choose and I recommend Deck 7 based on my experience.
Deck 6 is beside the life boats. So your view will really be blocked!!
The money you save can be used for other experiences in your cruise!!
Please click on thumbs up if this video helped you learn more about the cruise.

Like your video because it is so different from others. Instead of mainly showing the cabin lay out that can find this information easily, you focus on the obstructed views how it impacts during cruise in different times and different angles. This is a very useful information to me when making a choice in booking.
You are so lucky because those obstruct cabins on 6th floor really block by the whole life vessel! I have booked the 9th floor, so should be fine for the views when sitting down or views from the room, but still can see those life vessels if I lean on my balcony to look down to the sea which can be acceptable.

I hope this finds you well. I do appreciate your comments. It was really my goal when I took that video. I was actually initially reluctant in booking a room at Deck 7. But when I saw that my experience was not diminished by the presence of the life boats, I decided to take videos at various stages of the cruise. This will allow future travelers to see and decide for themselves if Deck 7 will be enough. I then spent what I saved on other things like specialty restaurants and shore excursions.

Thank you so much for doing this Video. It was so helpful. This was the best Video for Deck 7 as I could not find any on here. So thank you so much. I just booked my Room on deck 7 and I am in room 7700 and Choose an obstructed view balcony. I have never booked a balcony before so this is my 1st time and I am supper excited as I will be with my husband and kids. They said it will be 50% obstructed view so I hope it will look like this. For me I just wanted air coming in the room and being able to see the sun come up and feel like I know what day it is as I will be out on sea for 12 days. Thank you so much.
