Thanks for watching. Took about a month and a half to make. Really happy with how it came out and it could be much better but I was careless in a few places. I also didn't have many of the proper machines so I did what I could to make it as similar as possible. A little sad it cant spin too well, but I got one good spin out of it on camera so that's what really matters.

maybe you could try using bearings for the rod in the middle to get it to spin? but i have no clue how you could get them to attach. Great video was very entertaining 👏👏👏
Thought about that actually, but id need a big bearing which isn't the hard part. The hard part is now removing the epoxy glue to put the bearing on. I bet it would have worked though.

the audio in game makes it sound like the string she's using is a wire of some sort
now, getting a wire that can hold your four pound yoyo while still behaving likes string will be very difficult, and managing to not preform at-home amputations on your fingers every time you cast it down will be another challenge, but it is something to make possible note of
her yoyo also splits into two seperate yoyos, which means when it's the way we normally see it, there's two strings holding it. that may be worth noting as well, and could be possibly helpful if you wanted to make this properly usable. a divider in the middle of the center rod and a string on either side, thin enough to spin but thick enough so they hold when held together

So impressive! Yo-yo Bullet is such an insane thing, to think yo-yos were used as weapons at one point. X) I got decent yo-yo knowledge so I think it'd take your arm off if it actually spins. Its still freakin' badass though!
Sadly the whole yoyo weapons thing was just a lie for the sake of advertising. But that doesn't mean we can't still make it happen.

Maybe, but it would cut into my hand pretty hard so idk if it's worth it.
Pure curiosity why not use a bolt instead of a rod for the mid part with a bearing in the center as a normal yoyo has? Would make for easier assembly and dissassembly as well.
Didnt think of it until it was too late and then I wasn't even sure itd work properly or if the string would just slip too much.

About 8 pounds or so. Definitely could be used as a weapon. Near the end when I managed to get one spin out of it and the string broke, it landed on my foot and even at that little height, it kinda hurt.
