The sith dagger is like finding a 2000 year old Mayan sacrificial dagger that matches the NYC skyline and when it lines up with the Empire State Building it leads you to a founding fathers treasure stash.

George Lucas being called a one hit wonder is crazy, as a director he does not have as many successes but as a writer hes easily one of the best story tellers of all time, Indiana Jones, The Prequals, the OT, Clone Wars TV show. He does need assistance in keeping his scripts sound human, the prequal trilogy as proof what happens when hes given free reign, but from a creativity standpoint, I dont think there are many who can come close to his world building and stories.

I love how George Lucas came up with a backstory on the spot to explain why Mace Windu had a purple lightsaber. It wasn’t predetermined or anything, Samual L. Jackson just wanted a purple lightsaber, that’s it. He also owns the real one which has “Bad Motherfucker” engraved on it.

Episode 3 was my favorite movie. Just the emotion that it had me in was immense. I actually wanted to cry when anakin and obi-wan fought. Made me think about how I would feel after cutting my brother in half and having to leave him there to burn (yes i know they arent brothers but obi wan looked at anakin like a younger brother). the scene was both badass and heart breaking.

The reason “they fly now” is both annoying and upsetting is because clone and storm troopers have always had units with jet packs…….

Fun fact: in revenge of the sith if you sink up Darth Vaders first construction and the childbirth scene, padme loses her last breath, when Darth Vader takes his first in the suit. Pretty cool.

I find it strange how Rogue One is such a divisive movie. It looks great and has a lot of fantastic locations, has some really interesting (if underutilised) characters like Saw, Krennic and Galen who I wish were featured more, despite the uncanny valley I really liked Tarkin in the film. Michael Giachinno hits the soundtrack out of the park, like it's the best of traditional John Williams with a fresh twist, it is so so good and then it had what is in my opinion the best space battle in any Star Wars film over Scariff, it takes the feeling of the OT modernises it without ruining that OT feeling.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Corden The Unfunny? I thought not. It’s not a story most Comedians would tell you. It’s a Cringe legend. Darth Corden was a British "stand up comedian", so pitiful and so lame he could use his jokes to influence his audience to walkout… He had such a knowledge of unbearable impressions that he could even keep the ones he cared about from participating in Carpool Karaoke. Cringeworthy comedy is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural.

The classic wipe transitions were actually George's homage to the films of Akira Kurosawa ie hidden fortress and seven samurai

I loved the clone wars. There was a bunch of cool scenes and much more character development, and they added a bunch of new characters like ahsoka and rex. It also shows the development of the clones, as they used to just be a bunch of bland characters in the movie. But clone wars really improved the everyone’s view on clones.

I have never disagreed with a single thing I’ve seen charlie say until that Qui-Gon line. Always been a Neeson fan, I loved his lightsaber design as a kid, and I’ve always thought Qui-Gon was the wisened and patient Jedi that Anakin would’ve needed as a master to not fall to the darkside. Also, all the EU (and canon) stuff they’ve added to his story since episode I just makes Qui-Gon so badass imo.
