I heard they were singing this song in a maid costume on 10th May at Zepp Haneda.

Miku is writing about the friendship between the members in the band. Mike E of Incubus collaborated writing the music.
"Bestie" is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Band-Maid songs yet. Band-Maid always keeps us guessing with their music. Will it be hard rock? Will be metal? Will it be punk? They now own the indie power ballad genre. The Maid' s beautiful outfits and setting has me telling myself, "If this is what heaven looks and sounds like, I had better clean up my act!" Donut Click, thank you for your lovely reaction to this song, it made my Sunday morning.

Great reaction Princesses DC. This song was co-written with Mike Einziger From Incubus. Lyrics by our Pigeon. They debut this song live on 5/1/24 when the opened for Incubus in Japan. Mikey-chan joined them for the debut. After the show, Mikey-chan joined the Maid as they watched the release of this song on YT. Angel Armor is very nice indeed, but it would appear they did it because it was a collaboration piece. They were rocking their Maid Battle Armor on the Day of Maids Okyu-ji at Zepp Haneda 9 days later. PO!🕊 WORLD DOMINATION! 🤘😆🤘

I started listening to band maid last week and they don’t have one bad song 😅 I have a new band you can react to they’re called Rolling Quartz. All girl K-rock band. Would love to see you react to them!
Very nice reaction (welcome back to Band-Maid). This song was a collaboration with Mike Einziger guitarist from the band Incubus (they met at the Point Fest in St. Louis in 2023) and struck up a connection which lead to this song. The lyrics were written by Miku (second vocalist/rhythm guitar/red hair). The singer Saiki, designed all the outfits just for this performance because it's so different from their other songs. And you are correct, it's about their friendship with their band mates, they've spend most of their free time with each other for the last 11 years since the band was founded.
It is more a song for the members and people who know the reality of the band more than for the rest of the audience and they decided to share it
