Its cool as well how Kora and Leeske separated. He stayed with the herd and she went to the lone goat. They assured everyone was protected. Its amazing their instincts. Such good dogs!

Yes I agree. I thought that was awesome. I've just been amazed for years at livestock guardian dogs instincts. I didn't grow up around these types of dogs so as an adult I've just been in awe of how amazing they truly are.
Kyah and Kora are a great team. She knew exactly what to do when Kora called. Proud of both of them.

Good girl Kora...You know dogs have a huge compassion towards others. When they are mistreated it kills my heart...Tell Kyah thank you for helping Kora ..I am feeding a baby kitten with a bottle that fell out of the crawl space between our attic and the roof. .Have no idea how the mother had it in there..and the momma disappeared...thats why it fell out was looking for her i guess...Thought of Kyah and the way she loves animals.. God bless you guys, you all are such good people..
Kyah was so smart to go get her Mom and Cora of course did exactly the right thing by letting the humans know there was a goat in trouble!

It was nice to see Khya (sp?) talk so much on this video. I got to meet her at the Okie Homesteading Expo and she was just like she seems on the videos- sweet, smiling and openly friendly. She was one of those people that just has a glow about them, like sunshine. Of course, I know a lot of that comes from Rachel and Kevin and how they've raised her. Rachel was especially kind and welcoming to me at the Expo. In fact, Rachel was the last person to hug me before I left that day and had said such uplifting things to me. Hugs to all of you and to all the critters.
Kora has turned into a really good LGD. She has a good teacher.

Thanks for the memories of being on the farm that was back in the early 50s and I am a 74 year old grandmother now God bless you and your family if I was a fly I would be happy every day just watching what goes out cause I sure miss the farm

I loved the way they worked in tandem. While one deals with the problem, the other guards the goats. That's instinct. You can't train that into them. Great pair of dogs.

Wonderful to see a video that your daughter participated in so much. I realize you tried to keep them out of the extreme heat all summer but we do enjoy things from the childrens perspective also.

I know i have that same fence and we hate it for our goats. Our Great Pyrenees did something great. Couple of our goats slipped through the bottom of the fence and our GP jumped the fence and hunted down my husband out in the woods and barked at him to get him to follow to show him the goats got out. They were fine. No real danger but I loved how he went and got him from the woods in the back of the property. Pretty awesome what these dogs do. 💕

Kyah done a brilliant job alerting mum and dad that the goat was in trouble. So a BIG well done Kyah 👍🏻 and to Kora also. You can she how much she loves all the animals even the horrible frogs like on other video’s. Certainly a credit to you both with her caring attitude. You don’t realise the importance off all the dog on the farm . Even here in Scotland sunset now is 8.40 pm so summer is on its way out. Take care and stay safe.

That’s awesome she’s learning her purpose. I really like how you care for your animals and their nutrition. I heard the female emus are rather aggressive and the males are not so you might evaluate that until you get your DNA test done
Also have heard that the female emus are bigger than the males.

Love how the rain you have gotten has revived the grass around the yard. Hope you get more rain from heaven to help the pastures. All the critters look beautiful and happy---yes even chickens smile with contentedness. Kora, Leeske, and Mojo are such wonderful dogs.

What are the 4 concrete strips by the garden, have asked many times. Congratulations on getting the lake property. You are lucky to get the closest access to the house. Lake property in East Tennessee is more valuable than gold. Unreal how high.
That is awesome! Kora has learned to do her job protecting the goats.
Question: Why do you use fencing that the goats get caught in? Is it cheaper? The squares on the cage you feed the dogs on would be better fencing.
That type of fencing is to keep predators out. Unfortunately the goats try to get greenery from the other side & land up getting stuck.

I love the look in a dog's eyes when they have a purpose. Dogs like these are just amazing. They are heros! Their eyes shine. Even the little Sheriff does his job with pride.
Well done to Kora for saving that goat's life by getting your attention to come help. That goat really pretzeled herself through that fence. Kora has grown so much! Do you think she will ever be as big as Leeske? He is very tall. Kora is catching up, but I have a feeling, since she is a female, that she might not get quite to his size.

Kevin looks so mean and mad cause he was still asleep. Mojo has saved goats many times, I’ve seen him jump the fence. Kora deserves a treat. Kora is a heroine. The goats want to dig into the dog food. Leeski was over there catching breeze with other goats. That goat was trying to get to the leaves on the other side of the fence. I got to send something for the canines especially Kora, so I’ll send it to dear Rachel.
