Good lord is this hard to hunt. Decided on a whim to make a full shiny team and wanted a shiny Hatterene on my team since it’s one of my favorite Gen 8 pkmn. Been having good luck with the other 4 I hunted but this one and Cetoddle definitely are giving me issue s
I would also add, the hair is a lighter colour. It takes a bit longer, but look at the tip of the hat (shiny is pink) and the hair (shiny has pink hair) it takes a bit longer, but thats how I got mine.
A good method I used while shiny hunting was from another video and very common (edited since someone is a bit chapped): - If you can't find an outbreak like me, make a sandwich with encounter psychic 3, sparking power 3 title power 3 - i did red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper, 2 onion and 1 proscuitto and 2 herb of mystica (forgot to add mb) - search the area where the pokemon spawns. if you don't see it, set down a picnic and then pack up again. It respawns the pokemon in the area. - extra note: if you auto battle your pokemon won't KO a shiny I was able to find a psyduck (my fave) within 5 mins of doing this, but I was really lucky. Hatenna took about 30 mins. For Hatenna, because her shiny colour can be hard to see, just be sure to REALLY look at the colour of the tip of her hat and her hair (looks like a lighter pink for shiny) I found it easier to do at night as the blue stood out more and the pink looked more muted
The faint 60 thing doesn't work for regular spawn mons. It only works for outbreaks. You probably got one due to the sandwich buff and not because you fainted 60. Also, Hatenna's shiny is white and not pink. You might have seen it as pinkish due to the lighting.
@@bluuangel004 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ worked for me and I see it as a lighter pink. Also, even if the fainting thing doesn't work it made them respawn in the areas I was checking so it still helps.
@@lavendersmog I'm telling you, the game mechanics doesn't work that way. You're giving partly false info to others. The sandwich works, yes. But fainting 60 doesn't UNLESS IT'S A MASS OUTBREAK. What you pointed out that new spawns appear after fainting is valid though but it doesn't increase the chances like with mass outbreaks. Also, it is white. No argument there. You could even check serebii or bulbapedia or heck even you're own pokemon's stat page. The pink parts remain pink, and the light blue parts become white. It isn't that hard to admit you're wrong.

Can u compare the two of them the shiny with a normal?
normal one has blue hat, shiny has a pinky white hat

Save before making the sandwich, turn off autosave, then hunt. Restart your game if you didn't find it. At least you can save the herbas

have 2 copies of the game or a friend, then trade over a pokemon holding the love ball.
