I never thought of Turkey as Super-yacht builder, this video changes everything, your video production is on par with tradional Tv broadcast, maybe not in overall technology, but production, content and delivery, excellent .

Thanks Colin. That’s very kind of you. Turkey is an amazing country, very industrial and industrious! We’ve been in Istanbul for the last couple of weeks - 18 million inhabitants of the city!

@@Yachtsforsaleblog Interestingly Istanbul's "name change" in the 13th century came from cab drivers who routinely asked travellers "Do you want to go into the old city?" Se Stan Pol - in Greek is Se = In, Stan = Constantine, Polis = City - which became Istanbul over time.

Incredible to see these skilled tradesmen in action and I really hope more future yachting videos include the people behind the boats. I want to see the people & machines involved from the concept, design, building, outfitting, testing, selling, & operating. These people are the very best of the best in the entire world at what they do and I like to meet some of them. The super to mega to ultra to giga yachts’ is the ultimate purchase for the wealthy top 1%. Their individual homes and private jets don’t cost as much or take as long to construct as their yachts do, making this a very demanding endeavor. Thanks to Turquoise Yachts for allowing us to peek behind the curtain. I’ll admit I wasn’t aware of the current level & quality of manufacturing in Turkey, which is very impressive.

David what an wonderful insight to modern super yacht production ! A big shout out to Turquoise Yachts for their willingness to reveal so much of the process but they are understandably incredibly proud of what they have achieved and what they produce, wish them all prosperity and success with that diligence in meeting and exceeding their client requirements . Thank you for that and saved to favorites ! Shaking my piggy bank now LOL

... what clean fine lines to this sailing yacht ... actually breath-taking in it's aerodynamics ... like it could take flight at any moment ... lovely, uplifting, inspiring design with pristine whites & colours ... very, very gracious & elegant ... neat very clean workyard & workspace ... I feel like I would like to quote the Omani phrase: Beauty has an Address ... yes, well it sure has one here ... wonderful ...

This is what I've been craving! Great video. Fascinating to see how these yachts are built, but rarely do we get even a glimpse, until the finished product is launched. First Nautistyles at Bering, and now you at Turquoise, do I smell a trend? 😄 I won't hold my breath for a similar video from Lürssen or Feadship, because of the confidentiality issues (although the way this was made, you don't really see any details from any given yacht, but DO see the process, and the attention to details in the yard), but one can always hope. You have a great team, thanks to all of you, and thanks to Turquoise for the invite 😊

This guy is blown away by/excitededly explaining procedures/methods of normal workshop/factory/construction/assembly operations as if it's a selling point - look at how parts are QC'd and each has it's own number that's checked off against a folder of parts - astounding attention to detail. Rich dummy potential buyers who've never thought about how things are made will be truly impressed/sold - look at all this amazing veneered plywood cabinetry and look how they machine/fab some stainlesss fittings - you could only find such a thing in a hundred million yacht. Honestly, salesmen/real estate agents are ther most overpaid/mindless/clueless yet self-assured people in history - the confirmation bias from living at the best time in all of history for making insanely huge money from the most miniscule skill-set

After finalising my studies and having a degree as a Navel Engineer something went very wrong (in retrospect) as I now work in the financial world. It is from this perspective I love to see these types of productions. To be able to have an indepth look into the kitchen of a prestigious brand like Turquoise.
Turkey has a massive industrial heritage and for me, it is not strange that find a shipyard there that produces such a level of quality. I think they will be a force to reckon with when producing in the same bandwidth compared to Holland, Italy and Germany. In Holland, it is commonly known that if you need your clothes altered you go to a Turkish tailor. They are quick, good and extremely cost effective. I think this is in their DNA so to speak.

Can't decide what was better - the craftsmanship of this actual video or the craftsmanship of the yacht builder. Turquoise did themselves a disservice not allowing you a quick walkthrough of a finished interior (but can understand why). In saying that you and your team went above and beyond in promoting this yacht builder. Won't be surprising if you get more requests from other builders - much to the delight of your subscribers! A concise and well presented video on a complex industrial manufacturer. I was impressed by the level of technology used to assure quality. With the furniture, how does the plywood and veneer composite compare to solid wood when in the high moisture marine environment ? I would be concerned with warping and de-lamination over time.

I may be the only one, but when looking at all the craftsmanship and time that goes into the finest of details, along with the infrastructure required, I'm thinking super yachts are actually a bargain.
what's not a bargain is having to sit thru 2 youtube commercials every 90 seconds to watch a long play video. TH-cam is worse that network TV in the US...........

Some times the flow of air threw vent can make low frequency sounds that you can't hear but it will mess with your inner ear and can make you sick and off balance this can happen with skyscrapers and I am sure very large yachts.
