Dana says- Wow. You both should be so proud of how everything turned out. I love that you made the bus exactly what you feel your family will need. It also is versatile enough that some areas can be tweaked or just assigned for things that you might decide will be a plus after you make your first couple of voyages and see how things work out for you. It's a beautiful conversion. I can't wait to see your family enjoying it wherever the road leads you.
The only thing I would add is a roll up rug to put down outside from the door to the back of the bus (maybe 5 x7) . That way you have a little patio type area to se up your beach chairs and it keeps from tracking unnecessary dirt into the bus. it could roll up and store under the bed. Also the first step into the bus could have one of those carpet samples or a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet just to wipe your shoes off before proceeding into the bus. I love the whole renovation. Y'all have done a great job and Ashley, your curtains look great. OK now lets get on the road. LOL. Have a Blessed day and safe travels.
It looks factory made, you all did a great job. Love the colors too. Curtains perfection. You can always still camp in it. It is going to get me motivated today to get things done in the house so I can start to work on our cargo conversion with my husband.
Love your bus conversion! It’s ready to take a trip. No problem about no shower, I’ve take a few “bird” baths in my time. It’s all very nice. Now, go and enjoy it!
Oh, Ashley and Doug, you must be thrilled. The bus is fantastic! I love it! Many congratulations! Can't wait to get on the road with you. Your TH-cam award is perfectly placed, another dream come true!
Awesome...your attention to neatness and detail is amazing!!! Everything is so functional. Now its time to hit the road! Congrats on 100, 000 subscribers! Happy Trails to you and your family! Thanks for taking us along.🚃
Ashley will be turning into a sewing guru. Great job guys. Have you thought about an awning for one side of the bus? You could just call what you have done so far Phase One!
I've watched every video regarding bus build, Doug and Ashley you've put so much into this bus...thinking outside the box, a job well done....I thought maybe behind chairs cubbies that hang on back of chairs to stores colour books and pencils for kids...etc..Ashley could make from material...Just squares and rectangle shapes will hold drink bottle too , tissues book etc...great job and congratulations
I bet the kids can’t wait to go someplace and stay there overnight in this beautiful bus! Great conversion, everything is perfect.Adventures are waiting 🙋🏻♀️
I think you guys did a great job. It seems like you put so much thought into everything. Ashley, for your first time sewing you did a great job. I love how it all turned out. Maybe you guys can share your trips with us too. So much fun. You should be able to get a lot of enjoyment out of this vehicle. I bet the children are getting excited to go somewhere too. Love love love it. As you use it you’ll think of more possibilities also. You’re both so clever. Have MUCH FUN.
Amazing, super creative, mechanically inclined, research system prior to setting up, work well together. It's a great recipe for success. Enjoy your videos and it motivates me so now I started on my old projects I left behind. Thank you!
🎵 We're all going on a summer holiday🎵 Yay! Fabulous... I have so enjoyed your vlogs on your bus conversion. You have done a great job and thought of everything for your needs. I love that you have put your YT trophy there on the bus, it looks the perfect spot. I wish you many great, fantastic family road trips/getaways. 🚌👍👏💖🎵🎵🎉🚌
Great job folks on the bus. All so clean and straight lines. I like it. Just an idea you may already thought of, is using screen material around the back door so you can sleep with an open door and no bugs. Can help with fresh air and add to the camping feel.
I have been impressed for quite a while with the two of you. How you innovate , improvise and make do with the items you have on hand. Ashley: Great job on the curtains!! The way you handled that sewing machine did not reflect that this was your first time using a sewing machine. Keep up the great work!!
Also, its important to have a real mobile home on wheels where you can get out and move quickly if need be. The way the world is nowadays, heck my friends dad built a home that is 80% underground! And he made a bread delivery truck into a mobile home. Its important to be mobile & prepared & self sufficient too. Your mobile home on wheels is a good idea. You ALWAYS have a shelter for your family. Smart idea!
Once again I'm completely Blown Away! You two are seriously unstoppable and brilliant 👏 I love everything, and I'm sure you all are so proud. The curtains turned out fantastic and the name of the bus is really perfect. I have to say that you two are in a league of your own and there's no one that touch what you are capable of.
It turned out so great, love the colors, inside and out, how you utilized the space so well, very practical build, look forward to seeing your family enjoy it.
You both put in a lot of time effort and work into this bus the curtains are amazing Ashley and dog you did a great job with all your switches and plugs and wiring. You both are phenomenal and yet very laid-back I love watching your videos you guys are so awesome
It's 11.15 here on a Monday night I was sitting down having a cup of tea thinking wonder if Doug has posted and a notification popped up ☺️ Your hitch is called a toe bar in Australia ☺️ all your hard work from the both of you has paid off extremely well love the bus ❤️
You guys are geniuses! I have enjoyed watching each step of the process and have learned a few things along the way. Surely there will be millions of beautiful memories. Be safe and enjoy each trip. God bless.
Looks fantastic. Love what you've done with it. Well done and Ash exceptional job with the curtains. I'm sure once you use it more, you'll think of additions or perhaps adjust things, but as a start this looks great. Thank you for sharing.
Everything in your get-a-way bus is so well done - definitely an Oasis. Your 1st trip will be so exciting! and I envy you that you know every square inch and wire in your vehicle. That is a real plus.
Congratulations on the play button and finishing the van! It reminded me of the many trips my family made to various beaches when I was growing up.Your bus would have been fantastic! I recommend stopping at truck stops like Petro to look for travel-sized 12V electronics (cooler). They are sometimes cheaper and more customized than RV stores. Thinking of the beach, an outside hose to wash off sandy feet would be useful. Also, a fold-out Coleman-style stove attached to the side of the bus would be ideal, if there's space. I look forward to a follow-up in a year to see what new customizations you've done to suit your needs.
You did an awesome job on your bus renovation. Its simple and beautiful the way I like it. I hope you enjoy all your adventures and maybe we get to see some of them. Until next time cant wait for more.
Great job! Great move! You did the right thing. For years we wanted to move to the south, but circumstances didn't allow us. Now I am 69, my daughter 40 years old and health issues that prevent us from ever fulfilling our dream beyond a miracle. You made the right decision!
Hi guys really liked the bus series . great videos .got an idea for you on on the rear door/window curtain to keep it from flappin , sew some magnets in the bottom hem to keep it in place .this also might work to keep some of the other curtains in place if needed . anyway a couple of thoughts for ya.
You both are awesome 👌 Your children are beautiful and your ideas are out of this world good.Thank you for sharing, I'm also a Michigander you make me proud.
You are so smart Doug be proud of your work. Nice to see how you care for your wife and her opinion. Just found your TH-cam and just watching your mobile house now. We are in Canada but I totally understand your desire. Things are so expensive! Just praying we can get into something like that but already done as my husband is not a handyman.
They have these little desktop portable air-conditioners that would be perfect for your bus, especially during the day when you're camping out or at night if you want to stay cool. I'm wanting to get us a couple of them as well. Good job on the van conversion, guys!!!! It is so pretty.
Love you all's work. Looks awesome. Notice the vertical metal on your bed , just an idea for y'all , you should maybe cover it with a sleeve of vinyl channel for safety and to color match your theme. Years ago we had something similar in my youngest sons bed set up and I didn't cover the top and he sliced his arm open.

Awesome job! I love everything you both have done ! It is so nice, neat, organized, well thought out, pretty, and altogether wonderful! :)
U guys are so smart

If you have extra curtain fabric. Cool to make a custom cushion over the toilet to fit the length of that area Can sit on it too. Just a idea.
Dana says- Wow. You both should be so proud of how everything turned out. I love that you made the bus exactly what you feel your family will need. Doug and Ashley, You both did a tremendous job on your new vehicle.
Beautiful curtains! Your family will make great memories in the Oasis.
All I can say is, this was a genius build. Absolutely love it.
The only thing I would add is a roll up rug to put down outside from the door to the back of the bus (maybe 5 x7) . You did a great job, it's very cute and functional. I hope you have lots of fun with it.
It looks factory made, you all did a great job. Love the colors too. Curtains perfection. You can always still camp in it. It is going to get me motivated today to get things done in the house so I can start to work on our cargo conversion with my husband.
I love your humbleness. It's very welcoming and something I don't see in the big cities very often.
It's something not often seen on TH-cam. I enjoy finding real people, no smoke and mirrors.
Love your bus conversion! It’s ready to take a trip. No problem about no shower, I’ve take a few “bird” baths in my time. It’s all very nice. Now, go and enjoy it!
I think you should rebuild shuttles and sell them as a side business. You have both done such a great job. I will buy it when you are done! LOL!
The Oasis is ready for takeoff. May your trips be Blessed. Shalom 🕊
Oasis turned out great!!! Can't wait to see your first trip!!
It looks like a dream space for your adventures. The curtains add a special anti-utilitarian feel to the whole set up.
Great job on the curtains, Ashley. Now you’re ready to take some family time and hopefully relax.
Congratulations on your TH-cam award.

Ashley will be turning into a sewing guru. Great job guys. Have you thought about an awning for one side of the bus? You could just call what you have done so far Phase One!
You can't tell it's remodeled. It looks like it came that way!! Great job guys!!

If you have a dump nearby, you can run over their scales to get an exact weight if you want the exact numbers.
I was thinking that too
Great idea!! 👍
Yes. Very good idea!
A lot of feed mills have scales too.
@@jeffgootjes8418 He can also get measured at the scrap metal place.
You're right this is perfect. Thanks for the tour. Can't wait to see you guys on the road if it's something you would like to share.

Looks very nice. Glad you got the water pump problem taking care of too.

My gosh, you have done a remarkable job converting this. Wow!
The Oasis is really cool. Have fun on your travels. Be sure to take us" subscribers" along.👍

What about making some type of cover for the toilet lid so it’ll cover it, and also make more usable counter space?
Doug and Ash - Congratulations on going over 100k viewership! You guys deserve it!! The van looks great!!
you did a great job, but I see bruises in future if you leave those metal pieces sticking up on the bed.
maybe pad them or cut them
I have been thinking the same since I saw he was not going to remove the extra metal, and was I hope he does something there,
Are there not blue end caps on them?
Looks great ! Nice job with blocking off windows in frontend area, I bet yall are ready for an adventure soon. Cant wait!!! Thanks for the tour :)
It turned out awesome

I love your bus. You always do a great job and are meticulous at getting things right.
I'll be honest, I'm not at all surprised at how well this turned out. Great job as usual! I see nothing to critique lol.
Great job! Great move! You did the right thing. For years we wanted to move to the south, but circumstances didn't allow us. Now I am 69, my daughter 40 years old and health issues that prevent us from ever fulfilling our dream beyond a miracle. You made the right decision!
