I've tried the Melia method, but my party members auto-attack before I can get in position to push the Gogol off the cliff. How do you get them not to auto-attack? Thanks.
@@hazalmohammed it hasn't been patched. You are probably either not getting it close enough to the cliffside, or are luring it too far backwards. Try luring it to slightly different spots on the cliff
@@GrenYT It feels hit or miss since even after doing all the steps you highlighted, Shulk will still sometimes auto-attack. I'll keep at it, but right now this is a frustrating method. Thanks.
If this was your first time doing this it'll take a while until you get your comfortable method. I was able to do this by luring to the desirable spot then hypnotize, then immediately call back the team. After the monster sleeping use Run so Melia don't do auto-attack when close enough to the monster (so you can comfortably positioning yourself to push the mons) then get to the right position to push the mons
My characters are all level 99 so I don’t really need this, but good job explaining this for the people who do and most importantly thanks for not spoiling Seven!

I am playing the Wii version, and I am level 73, and can't beat the first final boss. I tried this strat, I failed the strat, but I ended up KOing it normally.
You don't need to exit out of battle. Just hold ZR to access party commands, and press d-pad down. This will order your allies to "Come to me!" which will prevent them from doing any attacks. This can be done as soon as you hit A to use Hypnotise.
@@nddugas Cool! For getting to the daytime boost I would set Riki to middle tree, and then try to explore more landmarks/locations as they give really good SP usually.

Side quests aren’t super overpowered even if you’re playing through and getting as many done as you find. 90% of them don’t even give exp and even after doing as many as I could I was still around the same lvl as all the bosses.

@@matthewsquires1329 Are you sure they are sleeping, you are using spearbreak, and they are still sleeping when you hit them? This will guarantee a knockback so you are likely missing one of those steps
What equipment is Melia wearing? I've been sticking to all the default appearances but this is the rare exception I might prefer. (I'm not too lazy to look through the menu when I get home later but am asking in case I don't have it yet.)
Her future connected outfit. When you play that you unlock the costume. Be warned though, it has heavy spoilers for the base game even in the first cut-scene. If you do want it, you can start future connected and skip the cut-scenes and once it starts you can back out and you'll have it in the base game.
So far, just by doing quests! Make sure to vary your party or you might start wasting affinity gains from quests by having it all go to maxed out characters. When you get high level'd there is a UM in Eryth Sea I believe with a sleep spike which you can use to farm as well.
Regulus King It’s Stormy Belagon, level 87, unfortunately. And you’ll probably want to be significantly higher levelled so you can farm effectively, too.
As I explained in the video, you need to be within 21 levels of the enemy, otherwise you receive super nerfed experience. For these, you'll need to be at level 57

Yeah, enemies despawn very strangely so we haven't gotten that working yet :(

Dean Miyagi it is an option which can be exploited to face enemies up to 30 levels higher than you and not be insta killed. Great for grinding

Found out it won’t work anyway. I think there was an update that added a tiny ledge there and whenever I knock him off he lands on it.
No, it still works. You have to lure the Gogol a little bit further before using Hypnotise. That ledge has always been there.

Awesome tip. The only question I have is how do you get these things to respawn quicker? I might add changing the time doesn't seem to work either.
If you kill one, save your game, and then reload the save it will immediately respawn.

You unlock cosmetics in the main game as soon as you get them in FC. You don't even need to beat the game for that.

Try to get the Gogol to walk a bit closer to the edge, or try different angles when you knock it back. It can definitely be tricky to get at first.

Unfortunately the OG had an even better method you could start at 60 (3x faster!). It got patched with the weird despawn mechanics in DE

Does lowering your level via expert mode affect experience gained?
Well, it effects your SP gained, so I don't see why it wouldn't effect experience
It does to an extent. You cannot bee too low level or you will get nothing. I believe you need to be within 20 levels to gain max exp

You can also spam gifting items, though generally they want a lot to go up levels.
only got 3k exp, dunno if im doin something wrong or its patched on definitive edition. Im lvl 49 is it better if I do it lower level?

You have 100% hit chance when it is sleeping which is why we use hypnotise and avoid hitting it until spear break
