@@matthewsquires1329 Are you sure they are sleeping, you are using spearbreak, and they are still sleeping when you hit them? This will guarantee a knockback so you are likely missing one of those steps

@@GrenYT i believe so. It's very likely the ai teammates are hitting right before I do. I'll test that when I can. That's prob the problem

@@matthewsquires1329 you can command the AI to "follow me" immediately after starting combat and they won't hit it

Yes after the "mechonis core" events near the end of the game, this area opens up to be freely accessible.

@@kokosmite5816 nope, some of the terrain is changed inside the cave giving you access to just walk into the other section of the cave. It also adds lots of level 80+ enemies to fight

It makes the run much more bearable. There are some backups you can try, such as going for Gaia crash strats or having both a fire blade and a healer on nia, but it makes all of the chapter 4 fights very difficult

I’m trying to start speed running this game (not going for WR right now or anything) and because of my limited time, I don’t much like the idea of getting an hour and a half into the run and just having to restart because I didn’t get a fire healer on Nia. I know general RNG can end the run here, but that seems less common. If I don’t get a fire healer, should I just put a fire blade on Nia along with Dromarch? I know it probably makes things harder, but I just want to know if it’d work. Thanks again, especially for the quick reply time.

@@Phelps285 hmmm hard for me to remember, I've hardly ran this category for the past 3 years. I think you want to have any non fire healer (twin rings or bitball. Knuckles are crap), and then a fire blade as well. Youll want to go tora Stone > Nia Volcano pretty quickly so Nia can switch back to healing/breaking and not sit on the non healer blade.

We use a glitch called Zombie Hover. There is a leftover dev tool in the game we call death code - hold all shoulder buttons, down and X for 5 seconds and the game kills you instantly. If you trigger this during a specific spot in loading screens, then when you spawn you can skip cutscene triggers and survive dying to enviromental damage (vents, falls)

Try to get the Gogol to walk a bit closer to the edge, or try different angles when you knock it back. It can definitely be tricky to get at first.

Okay, i was wrong

There is a glitch where you can get one of the parties from restricted trials out into the main game, but then you lose access to the rest of your party until you enter NG+. It allows you to get any art on any character though which is interesting

@@JacobOlli It's pretty unfortunate, but there is a way to permanently softlock your file in the final dungeon with this which is why I suspect they patched it

No, it still works. You have to lure the Gogol a little bit further before using Hypnotise. That ledge has always been there.

As I explained in the video, you need to be within 21 levels of the enemy, otherwise you receive super nerfed experience. For these, you'll need to be at level 57

@@GrenYT I just tried with 23 levels and I only gained 300 exps, cant go any lower with Melia.

@@WaxWing_ Yes, you have to be within 21 levels of the enemy's level. So for this you need to be at least level 57 or you'll get basically zero xp.

@@GrenYT Man I thought I needed to go the lowest level possible, thanks for correcting me.
