- A short video I did while testing the 4K on the Canon. I used C-log as well.

This is great, looks like it's filmed on a cinema camera
easily some of the sharpest , best color, and cleanest footage I've seen out of a mark iv. Share your secrets!!! Been shooting a mark iv for 5 years now and don't get this result

Do you know to to fix the cutting lines in the videos?
I mean, I recording with 4K but it's crop, (I'm seeing double black lines), do have any idea how to remove it during the post?

Notice that you use the Ronin S, how does it perform with the Sigma 35MM is it pretty heavy? All those Sigma lenses are heavy to me. Also do you use any other lenses with it?
I don`t find it heavy that much. It`s a lot worse when I use my 24-70 f/2.8 ART. But with the 35, the whole setup is pretty light imo.
@@OfficiaBushido I actually tried to use my 24-70mm f/2.8 ART Lens and it would just cause the Ronin S to glitch out. I didn’t know if it’s because of the weight or if something was wrong with my Ronin. Thank you for getting back with me!
Hey Arin, fantastic video man... I too am a 5D IV owner and still getting to know the camera. May I ask; did you use a LUT at all? The grainy effect (beautiful btw) is fab - would love to know what that is if you did indeed use one. Keep sharing these videos man great work!
Also just checked out Tim Kellner's work - wow... You also did a great job paying homage to his tone with your this video.
@@northernsandwich Hey Andrew! Thank you for your kind words. I don't remember using any luts, I did color grading by myself (check Danny Gevirtz). As for the grainy effect I used 4k film scans. Some of them are paid, but you can find many on the web, I'm sure. And yes, his work is one of my favs, truly.

You have convinced me that I do not need to buy all the latest shiny new gear being touted on TH-cam. I am now totally confident that (with talent and hard work) truly cinema standard work can be created with the 5D Mark IV. Your work is living proof of that. Take care man.

How did u expose C-log in the darker scenes to be less noisy like here, when I use c-log in darker scenes noise is all over it.
I didn`t do anything special. There was still enough light! Also i kept my iso at 400 if i remember correctly. Using a f/1.4 lens helped aswell!

Apart from 35mm being f/1.4 and 24-70 being f/2.8, they are both very good, sharp and perform nicely!
iv noticed 50% slowmo, and the youtube video is 4k .. canon 5d mark iv doesn't even have 4k 60fps.. then how did you do it?

The white flecks in the video make it look like a failing sensor or random stuck pixels. I was distracted by them so much I wasn’t really watching what was being shown.

Many people ask the same question, what lens is it? This was shot on Sigma Art 35mm, but in my personal opinion you can shoot a cool video event with a vintage lenses at around $40, $50 price range. I remember amazing video was shot on $10 old prime lens. The main thins is a story, location, time of the day, light, post production, color, sound… I like say, don’t focus too much on the gear, just keep creating, keep learning, keep moving on and don’t stop it because you don’t have a up to date gear 🫶🏻🕊
