Just did mine last night, your instructions work very well. I HIGHLY recommend people also watch the glass removal, teardown and tips videos linked in your description. I used wire for the first 1/3 and switched to a card (an Uno #9 to be precise). I much prefer the card over the wire, as it does the same job but you don't have to fumble with the wire between heatings. If I would do one thing different, I'd put a little extra bit of glue in the center of the screen. Having a little extra glue to push out the sides is REALLY handy if you have bubbles to work out. If not, you can work it out the side anyway. Not saying your video was misleading, I just didn't put enough in the middle and had three bubbles to work out. Annoying. The best thing is instead of paying somebody to do it, I did it myself, plus I now have a UV light, IR thermometer and a heat gun - all of which will come in handy at parties.
Jesse Connell Heck yes. Im glad you got it all figure out. Its a complex repair. And thanks for the tips! Its good for other people to read so they know what to expect in the future. TH-cam is great for learning new things. I too, love using the cards more than the wire. I exclusively use cards now.
Thanks for your video! I was able to successfully replace the screen using the LOCA glue. This was my second replacement of the screen on this phone. The first time I only used the double sided tape. That repair didnt last long so I thought I should try this other method. It was a bit nerve wracking but it worked and I suspect this will help keep the phone intact much longer than the last repair. Thanks for this tutorial! Only had one tiny bubble first try. FYI: for those who want to attempt this but don't have a UV light. I purchased a cheap $9 UV flashlight at Wal-Mart and it worked great!
Years ago I was part of a testing division of a optical lens manufacturer and we were working with plastic lens bonding using loca glue and a machine that held and cured the glue at the same time and the best method for applying the glue was 5% of the required glue be applied to one side and the rest applied to other we also noted that it required far less glue than I've been seeing people use in the tutorials it's a fluid that is intended to be applied so thin that just a cc or two is required also I'd apply the bulk of the glue to the new glass and cure it face down on the light source let gravity help prevent the issues
just finished doing this for my sister. Great guide but I am never doing a glass only repair again.prob took me 4 hours. I over did the glue a good bit....so from cam is no good but I told her the back cam is the better cam anyways and it works fine. No selfies :)
+Josh Harper after you did it, would you say the touch screen was perfect? I have replaced the glass, but used the tape, and sometimes it doesnt respond very well. I have the loca glue, but was curious about others experiences
Always the best, most informative videos. I have an issue with a 4S repair I did. I did the power button since it was stuck.. Got the new ribbon cable in, it clicks now, but the button still doesn't work. The prox sensor doesn't work either, and it's causing the phone to die really, really fast.
Is this similar to the eom adhesive? Also should the glass be broken again by chance are you able to remove it or is this glue a more permanent solution?
I have fixed several moto x phones and find that the glass removal process is manageable. This video seems doable as I am quite familiar with UV glue, my only question is that for this particular phone, when the uv glue seeps into the home button, and the light is placed on it, what keeps it from sealing up completely? And would it be more wise to just go ahead and completely remove all parts of this phone to ensure no excess glue goes anywhere you don't want it to?
Awesome video. Your TH-cam channel is a deadly resource. Would the average customer be able to appreciate the difference between the glue method and the tape method? Also, are there any devices for which you should ONLY use the UV method, and not the tape method?
nice trick i learned is to work the bubbles out before you move the glue to the edges. you made it look nice then moved the bubbles. Less glue comes out the side my way.
Jerry, you're awesome! Perhaps you're the man for my question. I repaired a Galaxy S4 i9505 glass only and reused the original LCD. I removed the LCD from the middle frame because I dislike the idea of liquid glue getting stuck on the inside of the phone. I used a mold and everything worked fine, except for the bronze aluminum foil on the rear of the phone that doesn't stick well anymore. This causes the glued lcd + glass to not stick very well to the frame of the phone now. So my question is: Is this aluminum foil vital to the phone functionality or can it be removed or replaced by something available in stores? Many thanks in advance for reading and responding! ;)
AnarcheDiver that is what makes the touch work. It will still work even if it is not pretty. Did you buy some cellphone two way tape? Good job on removing the lcd. few do because it is a 100 dollar mistake if it cracks. You could honestly buy about 20 glass screens and experiment with the glue amounts , little to more, until you get the exact amount vs the price of a new lcd.
I got a question... Just took my S4 from repair few hrs ago and I noticed that my fingers are getting sticky... Then I saw glue is coming out from my home button. I've cleaned it up with paper towels and glass cleaner but it constanly leaks from the home button and now it started to leak from the sides as well... Is that a normal thing after screen replacement? Should I wait and get rid of that extra glue somehow (now it's leaking less I think), or I should complain? Btw, replacement cost was around 35EUR which is around $40, that's cheap I guess? By the way awesome job! Very well explained, wish I saw your video earlier! Shucks! :) Keep up with the great work!!
Sarmamusakagulash You did get a good deal on that repair. That is way cheap. If they use too much glue, it is normal for it to leak out a bit. If it hasnt stopped yet, you could probably take it back and have them clean it out a little better.
Thanks for your quick response. Yeah it's very cheap but I got glue under my home button and front camera, now it's completely blury... Doesn't matter I'm going to use it like this for some time, it's not a big deal. Cheers!
this is very helpful , thank you a question comes to my mind , would be efficient if one spreads the Loca glue all over the LCD with a ruler or something before putting the glass on?
would a small vacuum pump work or aid, in getting out the bubbles, if the phone was placed in a small air tight container, and you vacuumed out the air?
Nice video, thanks for sharing. I have an old Samsung note 5 device, I had its battery replaced recently which is working fine but the golden color paper behind the screen is peeled off from the front and back as well from a few places. How can I fix this? Please guide!
Very helpful video man! One question, I have to replace the touchscreen on a LG Optimus G, could I proceed the same way as shown in this video? Is the glue really necessary or could I just use the double side tape in the edges?
Did the same exact process and it was too much glue. It went on top where face camera is and aslo hit where the lcd is attached with flex cable and in about a week touch screen was going haywire. When i would wake screen it would act as if being touched. I advice for little less glue and clear taping top part before placing glass, once dry pull tape out. Thats how i did the next one without any problems.
Hey Jerry, the video is really very helpful, however the glass of my secondary phone, a S4 broke in an accident. Though I have a spare glass, but I can't really source down any Loca Glue. Is there any alternative for it? Like, any such synthetic fabric glue, which they call it Dendrite here in India?
nice video with clear video resolution but want to ask you im planning to change my note 5 upper glass do i have to take the back cover and separate the screen on a side , or i can direclty remove the upper glass and clean everything and apply the uv glue with uv light and what about the glue if it comes on sides ... what you recomend me to do
Hi Jerry, Brilliant video by the way. I have the S4 LCD seperated and i've applied new loca glue. The LCD is still perfect and working but the touch doesnt work anymore ? Any idea what that is ? Have you seen this before ? Thanks Mate.
Ya, man, that happens. There is one more layer of glass that sits on the outside of the LCD and if that gets knicked or the ribbon cable gets tweaked, than it stops working. As far as I know there is no easy fix for it.
JerryRigEverything I am in the same situation. After curing the touch screen doesnt work. Thing is i know i tested it after cleaning right before adding loca. So i removed the glass and now it works again. Not sure whats happening here.... Any thoughts?
What happens if you were to break the replacement screen that used loca UV glue to hold it down: Is the glass removable, or would you have to replace the digitizer? Nice channel by the way. Subbed.
Thanks for subscribing! You CAN remove loca UV glue the same way that you removed the normal glue that was factory installed, it just takes much longer and is a lot harder. It doesnt come off near as easy as the factory glue.
JerryRigEverything Really? I find it comes off easier. Probably because the factory glue is a solid (OCA), and the replacement is a liquid (LOCA). Maybe it's the type of LOCA i'm using...
Can a regular alcohol wipe work? I used an alcohol wipe to clean the screen digitizer when replacing my samsung core glass. After cleaning, the screen doesn't work anymore with touch. Could the alcohol wipe have messed it up? I didn't use the uv glue. Can the isse be fixed if I add the glue?
I usually have the patience and sense of things to do well at such tasks. Something I've found useful in similar 'projects'; I have found disposable (so clean) hypodermic syringes and needles available at the local farm supply store. The smallest commonly available needle is 21G, which is pretty small and takes a lot of pressure to get anything with much viscosity through it. That said, it occurs to me it might prove helpful in controlling the amount of glue by using less and 'injecting' more as needed, especially at the top of the screen where too much glue getting in the upper components seems to be a common complaint. The obvious problems would be 1) is the glue too thick to be forced through a 21G needle? *One could use a 12G needle and syringe to 'suck' some LOCA into the syringe and then switch to the 21G to 'inject' it behind the glass.* 2) do you think there would be enough room to get a 21G needle behind the glass without scratching anything? A 21G is 0.03225 inch or 0.8192mm OD and 0.02025 inch or 0.514mm ID. 3) bubbles would obviously be more of an issue, but it seems like the biggest area of concern is at the top. The bottom and sides seem less prone to excess glue. I'd be interested in your thoughts on my idea here. Thanks for these videos.
Nice, but maybe I'll stick to the dual sided method myself. It's true the LOCA does make your phone sturdier but if experience told me anything, if it's going to break there's nothing you can do about it, gravity always wins. On the plus sign, if I were to fix a phone that was secured with dual sided tape, it'll be way easier to remove the glass again. Nice video, subbed.
The issue with this is that the air gap between the glass and the lcd/digitizer causes issues if you push on the screen slightly too hard. In my experience, at least with the S4, I've had to use LOCA glue in order to prevent this issue.
+Veteran Repair Shop it's probably different for phones that have the glass and digitizer fused together, rather than phones that have the digitizer built into the LCD.
Hey Jerry, how do you manage not to get glue over the front camera and sensors ? And how can you clean the glass in front of the camera lens ? .. Keep up the good work!
Jon Valerio Putting the right amount of glue on is key... but that takes time and experience to learn how to do. (even than its still hard.) I put the double sided tape between the LCD and Camera, and sometimes that helps keep the glue out as well.
hey i managed to get the right amount of glue, and it worked out perfect, no glue in the camera, ear piece or home button. i couldnt of done this repair without your video and advice. thanks a lot, and keep those videos coming. Thumbs Up All The Way!!
Thanks for this great video. I've been repairing phones using double sided tape only for a couple of days now but I'm going to make the jump to using loca glue. I have a question though, would it be a good idea to first remove the lcd from the phone by disassembling it before putting the glue on it and attaching the new glass to it, to prevent glue from leaking into the phone? Or does that seem unnessecary to you?
UndisclosedGuitarGuy That is actually a REALLY good idea. And the best way to do it... BUT the only reason that I dont do it, is that you risk breaking the LCD... Its a pretty fragile little guy and its glued in pretty tight. So it just depends on how confident you feel in doing the whole repair. Good question.
What can I do to avoid the glue from touching and filling my camera, speaker, buttons and all the things that can be messed up for the loca? Did you get them out somehow? Thanks
hi there. i have the same UV lamp. how many minutes are needed for the shown LOCA glue to be applied successfully? the lamps are applied to the LCD side, right ?
First off, awesome video! I replaced two S4's using this method and it worked fantastically. However, I have run into a small problem regarding air bubbles showing up AFTER the glass had been placed. Everything looked fine before going to bed that night, but the next day some bubbles showed up along one side and in the corner. My guess is that maybe I squeezed out a little too much of the loca glue through the sides and upon setting there was a little separation. Any tips on somehow being able to get those bubbles out? I was thinking about heating it up and trying to squeeze the air back out, but I fear just letting more air in as well. Any advice would be great. Thank you!
Dustin VanCour If you are using loca glue to hold the glass down... its possible that the glue just hasnt cured enough. (Its not totally dry.) Maybe your UV light isnt strong enough for the 2-3 Minute cure? Id leave it on for 5-6 minutes to see if that will completely dry the glue.
jd198300 I have heard of people using goo gone... i only used it once (and it worked) before I switched to denatured alcohol, (which i prefer better now.)
Hey, great video! I have a question, can you make a video about how to glue the display on the motherboard (the rest of the phone)? I didn't found a metod yet and i am still searching
Which one is the best glue for sealed lcd screen replacement with 3 type transparent glue, white glue, black glue? Which one is strong bond and harder to attach lcd screen. I always use black glue bcoz it so strong than transparent glue. Bcz black glue is hardener and can tolerant to heat than transparent glue is easy to melting down.
love your videos man! your videos have helped me replace four screens successfully now. i enjoy doing this as crazy as it sounds. thank you for the help and keep the great videos coming.
Hi thanks for sharing your video. I tried to replace glass on I phone 6 but the loca glu damaged the lcd, how to use the glu in order not to damage the lcd. thank you
almost succeeded yesterday seperating an oppo f1s glass with just a Cloth Hanger, Molybdenum wire and a standard soldering iron , i dont have a heat gun i just slide the hot part of the soldering iron on the glass for a while... was successful seperating lcd without damage and working but it got some burns probably coz of too much heat..
Great video. The previous owner of my s4 repaired the glass himself, which left a large bubble in the middle of the screen, about 3 x 1 inches. Is there anything I can do to get it out?
Thanks for sharing the video. I worked on my mom's S4 and replaced the screen with this method (except I forgot the tape part) and have been absorbing glue from home button for the past 3 days (repair done 3 days ago), not much at all coming out but enough to have to clean. In any case my mom called me saying her phone did it by herself and did it earlier today as well, have you ever experienced this (phone placing calls by itself) or know what it could be? When I get the phone from her I'll strip it down and clean up any glue but was trying to see if you ever came across this after a repair? Fyi I did the tape method first but there was a high point in lcd hitting glass do I opted for the loca method. Also noticed the two soft keys on the sides of the home button getting discolored. Thanks for any feedback!
Jason L Ya, there is always a chance of the screen acting up... I mean... you pretty much did brain surgery on your phone. So it sometimes has side effects. It sounds like you might have used a little too much glue. Its hard to get it just right.
The digitizer on the phone could be faulty? Causing phantom touches - i'm hoping you get to witness it act up, if things are moving around and the phone is doing stuff on its own, something's up with the Digi
I just changed the glass at a non-samsung shop, and the phone works fine, but still there is liquid bleeding out from the home button. Can I solve it by my self or I have to bring it there again?
Sam Gardner Its just excess glue... There is no way to 'fix' it... just gotta keep absorbing it with a paper towel or tissue or something. It'll stop in a week or 2.
Looks like uv gel for nails. I actually have some and i have a uv nail dryer. Do you think it would be a bad idea if i used that to secure my screen replacement?
Hi, thanks, nice video. I have a question for you, i fix an s4 with loca glue, the lcd got a stain on one corner now, somebody told me that , that hapens becouse the glue touch the side of the lcd . is that posible? Or maybe some of the glue wasnt dry enough and after start using the phone stars geting like that? Start like a very small stain and it got biger over time. Waiting for your response. Thank you.
jorge m Ya, it could be glue seeping into the LCD, it doesnt happen normally. There might have been a minor cut into the digitizer when you were taking it off. Your screen should still work normally though.
With reference to glue around the home button, if glue gets around the home button then it is also likely that it's gotten into the soft keys next to it. If glue soaks into these, they will be ruined. Also excess glue seeping out around the sides means it will severly reduce the stickyness of the double sided adhesive border. You're doing ~10 phones a week and not getting customer returns/complaints?
I normally use less glue than is shown in the video. And no, I still have not had any complaints. if you use too little glue, and have to press hard on the screen to get it to flow to the edges, it puts stress on the LCD after you cure the UV glue. So even a little drop would crack the screen.
hi, I saw a lot of glass replacements with the UV glue, but some displays has spots near to the sides after the procedure, apareantly because the glue had leaked to inside of the LCD. How to know if the LCD display that I get in hands will let the glue leak, and how to seal or stop the leaking, providing secure job and non spotted LCD display?
Does this LOCA glue do the same thing as the one is being replaced? I.e. if the screen gets damaged again, we can use the heat gun to remove and replace this replacement screen?
+Jack Adrian Zappa The LOCA glue that you can buy on amazon is much stronger than the factory glue. So no... if you crack the screen after using the LOCA, you probably wont be able to separate it again.
+Jack Adrian Zappa I used LOCA to fix the screen of my girlfriend's phone. She broke it again, and i separated it with the same method, without any problem :)
Zack my man! I have question for you my handsome bald man; I recently purchased whitestone's domeglass for my samsung note 8. I was using one already and I needed to swap the glass cause it had cracked. Anyways there was some problems during the installation and long story short the phone was COATED in that glue. Now I cleaned my phone with alcphol cloth, microfiber cloth, tissue and some water. Now it seems like I didn't get all the glue off since my domeglass surface feels rough and my phone isn't as slick, but rather a bit rough. What would you suggest tp get the glue off? I tried wiping it off with alcohol clot but it didn't do anything and now I am thinking of nail polish remover but I wouldn't want to try it in case something goes wrong and I ruin my phone.
Hello...i had to change the glass of an iphone 4 but the glue is entering between the lcd and the backlight...how should i seal it? I tried with double sided tape but its still entering...please help ...i wrecked 4 lcd and lost few 100$
Can I use a small LED UV lamplight to cure the LOCA glue? Because the huge lamplights are quite expensive and I desire to just use it once since its my screen's phone that I will change. I mean I al not doing it for work Thank you again!!
Mark Blair Also, check the little holes on the front screen speaker. I repaired one once and the UV glue cured blocking the audio. In case it's not the inner speaker, get the knife of exact zero and puncture the holes.
Mark Blair Best to take the phone apart and lift out the speaker a bit. I tape it to the side since it is on a cable. Then simply clean the hole out and put it back in.
I was wondering if the 2mm double sided tape works well because I didn't use it. I ended seeping UV glue all over the lcd including the back. After I cured with uv light/sunlight, the screen went blank, but touch still works.
Hi. I originally replaced the glass on my galaxy s4 and used the 2mm tape that you showed. however, I find that it isnt adhered perfectly, and sometimes I need to push the sides in so that the screen gets its full responsiveness back (i know the digitizer works, as i tested it without the glass). my question- I bought the loca glue- do you think this will fix this problem, as the whole thing will be glued in place better? i guess it's important to apply pressure evenly and firmly during drying.
thanks dude! any tips from your experience? im waiting on another new piece of glass to come ( I taped on a new one, but it has a little scratch on it). im super excited to do it.
+Daryl Bennett the touch has been responsive as ever and the screen is properly held in place now. There is nothing between the glass and screen for me just make sure not to apply too much and put the screen down suuuupppeeeer slooow
Worked perfectly well! I started in the corner by front facing camera, too much there. Will start In middle next time, and will put tape as barrier in that area as well.

I did it for the first time worked perfectly BUT i put the phone away for 2 weeks and tried to turn it on again but it wont turn on. There is a big spot in the middle of the screen looks like dried loca little darker though. any suggestions ?
Hi can i know when luca uv gell damage may be effect to get greenish display (i have problem with my macbook display) How can i contact you i want to know something about this
hi. i am trying to insert glass on sam a30s. Have removed the old glass, cleaned the LCD apply loca and it was good but after minutes loca from some places is dissapearing. what is my mistake ? i have a lamp , when and for how much time to use it ?
in theory could you use tape at the top and bottom to prevent the glue from seeping over the proximity sensor, camera, and buttons? I've heard incorrect application of the loca glue can mess it up
Monica Ervin Yes actually, I have used tape to 'contain' the glue in the past. Its not fool proof though, as excess glue can still seep over the tape.... just try not to get too glue happy and you should be ok.
Yeahh 10 years later. Great to hear your voice my friend.❤
from 2024 too 😅

Great walkthrough to really get a feel for the upfront nature of the difficulty/luck of doing the repairs.

Great video Jerry, One question, perhaps a bit dumb - is the procedure for the S4 "mini" the same as the standard S4?
Nick Jenkins I have never attempted a 'glass only' repair on the S4 mini, but I imagine it would be the same. As long as the glass is the same design.
this is very helpful , thank you

nice video with clear video resolution but want to ask you im planning to change my note 5 upper glass do i have to take the back cover and separate the screen on a side , or i can direclty remove the upper glass and clean everything and apply the uv glue with uv light and what about the glue if it comes on sides ... what you recomend me to do
Hi Jerry,
Brilliant video by the way.
Maybe it's the type of LOCA i'm using...
thanks for the video. i have a question. I dont have the UV light. without UV light, can I follow your tutorial? plz let me know any suggestion
Your skills is so great.
Can I replace the glass whitout using the glue? Please reply to me. Thank you for your kindness 🙏
Also you need to have uv light without uv light the glue will remain liquid
How did I get the 'bold' in there? Oops.
what kind of alcohol did you used sir? can first aid alcohol be used too?
***** yeah, I've heard of instances where that is happening. In such a case I'd do the same, but not all phones are like that.
Nice man! It took me a few times to figure out the right amount of glue. Good job for finishing such a tough repair!
Good question.
probably the best video so far nice work man!
What can I do to avoid the glue from touching and filling my camera, speaker, buttons and all the things that can be messed up for the loca? Did you get them out somehow? Thanks
Nicolás Oberti remove display totally and fix it outside 😂
Use less glue... Using just barely enough is the trick. Go very sparingly.
Thanks for the help so much!!! The only thing is that the link for the UV light doesn't work.
hi there. i have the same UV lamp. how many minutes are needed for the shown LOCA glue to be applied successfully? the lamps are applied to the LCD side, right ?
This worked PERFECTLY!
Thank you very much for sharing. One more manly skill to add to my résumé.
alapon77 so what makes you qualify for the job
" I can do a glass only repair on a Samsung galaxy s4 "
Sold
Thank you so much for throwing more light God bless you
First off, awesome video!
Can u use goo gone to get the glue off the screen?? Great video's!!! Can u make 1 of the s5 or is it the same way?
jd198300 I have heard of people using goo gone... i only used it once (and it worked) before I switched to denatured alcohol, (which i prefer better now.)
JerryRigEverything Thank you!!
Hey, great video! I have a question, can you make a video about how to glue the display on the motherboard (the rest of the phone)? I didn't found a metod yet and i am still searching
love watching your videos! do you think its better to remove the LCD from the frame when using the LOCA?
Mike D Hey thanks! I would remove it. Mostly because you don't want excess glue inside the phone. It can mess up your phone over time.
what kind or brand uv light did you use? the link you provided is for a cheap uv flash light
The Bob Ross of cell phone repair, ohmmmmmm. Thank you for the video!
love your videos man! your videos have helped me replace four screens successfully now. i enjoy doing this as crazy as it sounds. thank you for the help and keep the great videos coming.
+purplegt Thank you! I'm glad I could help out a bit. Repairing stuff is definitely enjoyable.
If he only put it down with the sticky tape it would be easy to pull up and use LOCA glue on. Or just wait till it breaks again and then use the LOCA.
Hello,
Any thoughts on what to do if one used too much glue (4.5ml) for the repair ??
where can i get that uv lamp youre using? i really like it
Hey man you are awesome!!! I learn a lot by watching your videos. Keep em coming.
Houston, Tx
Thanks for watching!
JerryRigEverything that's good news for me, thank you mate
Looks like uv gel for nails. I actually have some and i have a uv nail dryer. Do you think it would be a bad idea if i used that to secure my screen replacement?
nmv91 Ive never used those before... I doubt the UV gel for nails is optically clear though... so I would recommend against it.
Whooa you really make it seem super duper easy, that is why i am suscribing to your channel keep up the good tutos ! Thank's
Thanks man! I try to explain it as simple as possible.
Can I use that glue to attach UV tempered glass screen protector?
Does this glue dry without a UV light, like, after a few hours or even a day?
Also, is sunlight just as good to dry it?
Thanks
Bright sunlight will work, probably not as fast though. Never tried it myself though, I have UV lights for my bearded dragon XD
OK thx.
Does anyone else know if sunlight will work?
Sunlight will work
Hi, thanks, nice video.
Yes. It works perfect.. thankss
Do you have to have a UV light to do this?
Jerry. thanks for video
then can you let me know what percent IPA you use to get rid of UV glue ?
I am 99% sure that my alcohol is 99%. lol, I could be wrong though, its been awhile since I bought a new bottle.
Can loca uv glue be used with touch glass that's already laminated with oca film
Hi jerry , i was hoping if i can use a mosquito killer to cure loca glue , since it also has uv ? Can it be done ?? Tnx
Try to get UV with a peak wavelength of 365nm
hi, I saw a lot of glass replacements with the UV glue, but some displays has spots near to the sides after the procedure, apareantly because the glue had leaked to inside of the LCD.
Is there a less strong glue that I should use then? I cannot predict the future and who knows if this were to happen a 2nd time.
+Jack Adrian Zappa
I used LOCA to fix the screen of my girlfriend's phone. She broke it again, and i separated it with the same method, without any problem :)
+Darko Donnie Cool. What brand? The one they started here?
+JerryRigEverything I just took my repairs screen off that I used loca glue with. Worked pretty good.
Can i use uv flash light ? It is the same any Uv light ?
Zack my man! I have question for you my handsome bald man;
I recently purchased whitestone's domeglass for my samsung note 8.
I tried wiping it off with alcohol clot but it didn't do anything and now I am thinking of nail polish remover but I wouldn't want to try it in case something goes wrong and I ruin my phone.
i am highly motivate to repair my tablet after seeing this video
Is it okay to use an all-purpose clear glue for the repair? I wanted to replace the glass on my Note5 but don't want to make it permanent.
Is the glass you linked to in the description OEM? Or at least laminated?
Is it only glass repair that you can use the glue stuff
Hello...i had to change the glass of an iphone 4 but the glue is entering between the lcd and the backlight...how should i seal it? I tried with double sided tape but its still entering...please help ...i wrecked 4 lcd and lost few 100$
Can I use a small LED UV lamplight to cure the LOCA glue?
Because the huge lamplights are quite expensive and I desire to just use it once since its my screen's phone that I will change. I mean I al not doing it for work
Thank you again!!
sensorium3 Yup! I have heard people that have used those and have been successful.
ultraviolet light required for complete cure?
Luis Luna Yes. That is how the LOCA glue dries.
Great video by the way. What if the glue seeps into the phone earpiece and I can't hear anything in it anymore, how do I fix that?
Mark Blair You can try replacing just the earpiece. But that glue gets everywhere.
Then simply clean the hole out and put it back in.
is it possible to stick lens only with double side tape? will touchscreen will work correctly then?
Linas as yes
Do I need the Loca glue or will it look okay without it?
You can use any glue
it ok without loca glue, but the quality will become not good as with loca
I have galaxy a 5 but i repaired already and it brokes again
Now its easy to remove galss at home ??
Price of loca glue ?
Hi i have uv flashlight. Can I use this instead of uv lamp?
What is the purpose of that light..?
you have the voice of bob ross
im watching this on my repaired s5 thank you for the s5 tutorial the bad thing its that i have like 3 really little bubbles LOL
Is this phone water resistant
I was wondering if the 2mm double sided tape works well because I didn't use it. I ended seeping UV glue all over the lcd including the back. After I cured with uv light/sunlight, the screen went blank, but touch still works.
The link for the UV light is not the same, do you have a link to the one you used?
Hi. I originally replaced the glass on my galaxy s4 and used the 2mm tape that you showed. however, I find that it isnt adhered perfectly, and sometimes I need to push the sides in so that the screen gets its full responsiveness back (i know the digitizer works, as i tested it without the glass).
my question- I bought the loca glue- do you think this will fix this problem, as the whole thing will be glued in place better? i guess it's important to apply pressure evenly and firmly during drying.
yes! happened with me tpo with the tape but after the glue i have no problems
thanks dude! any tips from your experience? im waiting on another new piece of glass to come ( I taped on a new one, but it has a little scratch on it). im super excited to do it.
Hi can i know when luca uv gell damage may be effect to get greenish display (i have problem with my macbook display)
How can i contact you i want to know something about this
hey Zack. can this work on LG G8 ThinQ?
hi, have u ever used an expired loca glue? what happen if i use it?
hi.
i am trying to insert glass on sam a30s.
Uv or sun light? Been no sun light for 3 days now.....
please help you helpful man! what uv light can I use?
obmilica any one shall work including sun light
