Hails to the Wizard
Thank you for posting this.
I absolutely love Roadburn 2005. It is ominous and uncanny. Mystic journey for me. Especially slowed down version of eko eko and superb 'we live' solo. That bouncing noises Jus makes at the end of eko eko is crushingly sensitive and mysterious. I consider it as some disturbed signal we receive from cosmos as we try to disrupt other creatures life. We colonize mars, what will happen when we find some other beings exists?
Einstein once said "There are only two possibilities: we are alone in the Universe, or not. Both are equally terrifying."
It also contains the most sensible solo in we live. They slowed down supercoven.
So now, come fellow boarders and chant with us under the shadow of the moon. Let the supercoven begin. Rock on, hail the wizard and worship the great master! 1312
Laterallus!
Awesome video. Hail the Wizard
Dopethrone, Supercoven and Return Trip sound crushingly heavy with the We Live tones. Greaves metric and perfectly slowed drums added a lot to this performance. I wish so much this was mixed and in some stream platforms. Does anyone know what amp Jus used at this Wizard era?
Judging from other videos of their 2005 live performances:
Peavey 5150 can be seen in this video (at 8:02, amp is seen when the light flashes) : th-cam.com/video/RcpNSH9Zg18/w-d-xo.html
On this video Jus has both 5150 and a Sunn amp behind him - th-cam.com/video/-dApluFu64w/w-d-xo.html
@@ykhmts I believe the Sunn is used for Rob Al Issa, but maybe it can be a double amp tone.
Their current drummer should watch and listen to this, because that Chad is playing their songs too fast and putting too many prog fills in something that's supposed to sound like a hammer bludgeoning someone to death. Amazing video.
Simon is great, and Mark Greening was the best of all time and very "busy"
@@jadong8989 you got greening, then you got greavesy and then everybody else. greaves truly brought something unique to the band. this lineup of wizard and the og greening bagshaw are the only 2 wizard lineups i give a fuck about
