One week ago I bought the new DJI Mini 3 pro and now, not even after 1 week, I lost It in the mountains of Thailand 🇹🇭

I'm 76 yo and find myself binge watching Gabi. So great. I used to have an '84 Ninja 900, kinda first gen crotch rocket, but Gabi's adventures are so great. Suspenseful drone episode. So happy he found it.
Your reunion with your drone was a better love story than Twilight! You had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!
Remarkable that you found the drone in such rough terrain and conditions of the bugs and heat, etc.. It says a lot about your character that you persevered and never gave up. So happy to see it all worked out.

I also often think about it and believe that the boarders that people set for themselves and others are anchored in our genes: as part of our instinct for self-preservation, a selfishness is at work that led even the first cave dwellers to chase away any intruder with clubs. It requires a considerable, civilizing community achievement of all to defeat this egoism with morals, ethics and appropriate community rules at least superficially. But how thin and vulnerable the varnish of a civilized humanity still is, we see from all the conflicts on our pale blue dot we call earth. For those who don't understand what I mean: just drive one hour in the morning by car through the rush hour traffic of a European city and you will experience what this egoism is capable of. According to the motto: "Everyone thinks only of themselves - only I think of myself!"

OMG! 🤯 We were so excited! What an crazy experience!
I'm amazed to watch this because I literally had the same thing happen. Crashed my drone at the Blue Temple in Udon Thani about 2-years ago and I scoured 1st growth Jungle in the rain. Reminded me just of what you went through. I never found that drone. About 2 weeks ago I went back there with a new drone and had a revenge trip to have my successful flight. Security gave me crap and I literally didn't care, I got my video and now I'm happy :)
I can imagine! 😉 I am sure if I didn’t find it I would have done the same thing. It always sucks to lose a drone
@@ridewithgabi I'm really glad you found yours and agree with what you were saying "How did it just crash into the mountain? Doesn't it have sensors?". My thoughts exactly. I don't trust the sensors now unless I'm in cinematic (slow) mode :)
I feel your pain lol I have crashed both my mini 2 and mini 3 a number of times. Twice up in huge trees! That was a challenge! Filming recently in Thailand and the Philippines was scary as the jungle and mountains are almost impenetrable in places!

Ploy is so wise to pray for the forest spirit to permit you and guide you. It happened to Chris Parker’s Pad Gra Prao space project too. His mini spaceship landed on the rice field and the team desperately searched for it for 2 days with no luck. Then the Thai member suggested praying for the rice goddess or spirit then boom in 2 hours they found it!

Yes Ploy is very wise. And it’s also thanks to her if I didn’t ride all the way back to Chiang Mai (which was super far and didn’t make any sense) and I stayed in Mae Hong Son for the night ☺️
