If you drop a tray of drills on the carpet (or 3...with the help of my husband), you can use a damp paper towel to pick them up. Just lay it over where the drills are, gently press and the drills will come up with the paper towel. Then, I set it aside to dry, then the drill comes right off the towel...then I just brush off the cat fur...Lol

The worst part of this is I have many animals. I have hardwood floors so seems simple right? But NO even vacuuming every day and plus the large lint roller to take to to the couches pillows and or any couches or beds or places your vaccine u may may miss if I drop a few I have like 50 hairs yes it’s salvageable but takes a while as I gotta each and individual pluck out the drills and the hair to savage them. I try my best to not over fill my tray at the time and also try to play me them high or away when I leave the gable for a break so I don’t accidentally knock it over which has happened by My wrist a few times

You are by far the best on YT when it comes to Diamond Painting Tutorials. I am just getting started. Years ago I was hooked on 18 count cross stitch. I am 62 years old now and ready to get started. ... my eyesight is not the best. Is this as addictive as cross stitch????

I have never used the wheel thing and thought it would be a pain to use. Glad I was proven right. I love my 11 placer

    • @nancymilawski1048
      @nancymilawski1048 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I didn't know that there were different sizes of the wheel. I might try a smaller one. The biggest one seems awkward to keep straight. (Rachel Rae would still be working on Nightbringer if she didn't use this wheel. 🤣🤣🤣)
I need a vacuum too, I spill all the time and don't have pets to worry about. 😀😀😀

I think it’s awesome especially if u have a big huge dac kit with lots of drills to put down of the same colour hmm oh thank you for your tip on the shakeing the tray with diamond s on it I must try it and let u know how I go

Hiya! I just found your channel today, so I'm way late on watching your vids. I've been a diamond painter for a long time, so I thought I had seen it all as far as accessories go, but I was surprised to see a couple I'd never seen before, namely the ruler & the wheel. But after watching this, I can see I'm not missing anything. They look like they are more trouble than they're worth, for me at least. lol. One thing that is a staple dp tool for me that I didn't see you mention is a brayer. I use it after completing a section to reinforce the adhesion of the drills to the canvas. I just like to make sure I've got all the diamonds placed down as securely as possible. I had been using my regular craft brayers, but then I found one specifically for diamond painting that pops onto the end of your placer tool just like the multi-drill attachments do. Also, you didn't mention diamond sealer. Do you not use it? I do, because again, I like to be sure the drills stay on. Gonna check out more of your vids now. :-)

I bought a drill vacuum in the beginning haven't used it yet. I've learned how to hopefully prevent dropping them but I do have a nosey kitty. I was almost done with a painting finishing up and he jumped up and scattered 4 colors I boats needless to say I couldn't finish my painting. So frustrating. Thanks for all your demos

Harbor freight containers, my fav! The best thing about them is say you missed a drill of a certain color, just pop open the top and single out a drill by shaking a few in a corner and use it with your pen. No need to put them in the tray. Works real good too if you need to change colors a lot. As far as lining up the drills in the tray, it is my cross to bear. I can’t do it!! Multi place I’ve watched your videos a couple times, can’t do it!!! So I’m a one at a time girl!L

Thanks for taking time out of you day to do this. I totally appreciate you and your channel. I just bought three new cover minders from the esty shop you recommended.
Thanks for all you do. Have a bless evening 🌄. I have learned so much from you and your channel.
Everytime i watch you i learn something. I'm still new to diamond painting but it feels like i have done it before / something similar. I have a book that i keep the websites in when i need them it helps/ the ones that work for me and what I'm looking for.
It will be a year in June that i have been doing this.

Hello I’m pretty new to this . I bought a Diamond Art LED Stylus kit from MAKE MARKET, and it came with the LED stylus of course and a storage case and several different drill heads and 1 Correction Head. What is a Correction Head? Like I said I’m new to this , and it says it came with instructions but they were so simple and didn’t tell you how to use anything in the kit and certainly didn’t say which one is the correction head or how to use it. I had to look at some videos just to learn what was what. I came across your video loved it but you didn’t mention a correction head neither did any of the other videos I saw about diamond dots. Can you please explain what’s a correction head ? I would greatly appreciate it. I loved how well you described all the tools you spoke about and all the helpful tips, I subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to see all your other videos.

    • @MrsCoffee1

Honestly, in my 5+yrs of diamond painting, i have never heard of a correction head. Sometimes, what happens is companies bank on new ppl coming in the craft and not being knowledgeable on the tools they will make up items to profit off of new comers. 🙄 they are maybe talkin' about a straightner... i have no idea.

    • @MrsCoffee1

Do you mean won't stick? 1st I test the area your drilling to make sure it's tacky, 2nd I would check to make sure the drills are flat on the bottom. If canvas isn't tacky in the area your drilling I would wipe with damp papertowel, wet wipe, or baby wipe then let air dry which usually brings back the Tacky. If drills are concave or present with other imperfections I would discard the bad Drills and only use good ones

I had and have many didfrent boats and same as you but when I try to shake idk if my ruthenium is genetically wrong or not. I try lightly and have issues. I always have issues in lucky if more than 4 align at once. I’m also not skilled at drumming or any musical rhythm. Like for example no mater how hyper focused I am my rhythm be off. I tried for years doing diamond painting I do it cause it relaxes me after a 12 hour work day and I spend about 1 hour a night so takes a while to finish a painting but also I struggle a lot using a tool with more than 1 drill application sometimes my 4 drill application attachment pick up the second row or an an extra for example. But when it comes to shake and and align drills I never had success I watched at least 3 hundred videos on how to do this and everyone including you say the same and I do it but it never works for me.

Thank you so much for showing all these gadgets I must be a simple person I use a pen tray and wax 🤣 boom 💥 I have never even seen some of these things. I use a old wood rolling pin when I'm done to make sure all the drills are down good. I do kit up but when I'm done I toss the extra drills I don't save them. I really try to make it simple so there is no stress. ❤ stress out

💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 wow, the ruler I bought I tried once and now it just sits in my drawer, one it's a pain in the A$$ and two, it's sharp af and cuts a b!tch! LOL... the roller thing I've never bothered with, seems like too much work.
Your idea of mixing your ab drills with the colour to sprinkle, GENIUS! That is going into my "I need to do that" list.. thank you heaps x

I use the stainless ruler (~800 holes) for rounds because it really bothers me when I see my unaligned drills. I tried the small ruler at first and it was driving me crazy how slow my progress was because of the small section.
I've only done 1 square DP, and I just used a straight edge along the edges so I still have aligned drills without the square version of the DP ruler.
