I introduced a friend to DP & believe it or not she stuffed it up! She took photos of her "finished" DP & upon close inspection most of the diamonds were stuck on upside down. A shame really because I honestly thought it was a hobby she could've really gotten into & enjoyed. Instead she kept complaining about how tiny the diamonds were & how fiddly it was to pick them up & stick them onto the canvas. I've offered to re-do it & show her what it's supposed to look like when completed.

If you have a harbor freights store near you I definitely recommend containers from there!! They're $5 for the big box they're held in + 24 containers so I got 3 boxes, they're super nice! I used to use tictac containers but I found it so annoying to have to switch trays to pour the drills back into the containers and to kit up:)
I’ve been thinking about purchasing those containers! They look really nice, but most of the paintings I do have more than 25 colors and idk if I wanna have two of those boxes 😭
Evelyn DP haha yea I thought it would be annoying at first but honestly as long as your table is big enough you don't even notice after a bit, if you sort the symbols together like numbers together, letters together, symbols together you don't even think about the fact that it's multiple boxes tbh

My tic tac box has 64 boxes, but no space for other items. I bought a small funnel for putting diamonds back.
I have the rainbow fish pens to and the tail comes off and you can add other tips..at least for mine

Get yourself a light box or a light table. Lights up from below to see the image better. Makes it so much easier. Nice video, only downside is you talk so quietly we have to turn volume up to hear... then the ads pop up and blow our eardrums. Other than that keep up the good work. 👍

What would you recommend to keep the beads in I've never done diamond painting before until recently
I would recommend keeping them just in case one of your beads fall off. If you seal ur paintings you shouldn’t need to keep them tho
You can keep them in little sealable plastic bags or you can buy some bead storage containers.
I would keep the Drills so that just in case one falls out unless you seal it, and also if buy other Diamond Paintings you might find that they didn't put in enough Drills and so by saving them you can look to see if you have the Drill or Special Rhinestones, Crystals to put into that Diamond Painting as there are different kinds...
Full Drill Diamond Paintings, Partial Drill Diamond Paintings, Special Diamond Paintings that have Rhinestones and ABS which is Special Drills that have a multicolor to it.
You can even do on your regular Diamond Painting and replace the normal Drills with the ABS to make it even Prettier with the multicolor it has. The whole thing with Diamond Painting is to Help Your Mind Relax and Have Fun 👍🤩😍😉
Can you use an old tub that used to be used to store cat food in as long as its washed out good thats what I'm using for now.

How do you use the exacto knife again? Is that how you separate portion sections of the painting to do - cutting the transparent cover paper?
Yes! I use the exactoknife to cut out sections using very light pressure
@@EvelynDP can scissors work for doing that as I am afraid to cut my canvas.

Yes, the audio was always an issue for me - but this is an older video and I think my most recent videos are a bit better. Thank you for the feedback!
Why blue tak? Is it better that the wax?
I like it better than the wax! It lasts a lot longer and doesn’t leave behind residue

It is not a 4 placer there are only 3,6,9,12 diamond pens
There are 4 placers and that was a 4 placer on my pen - there’s also 10 and even 15 placers. I haven’t tried the 12 one though
