Note that they did patch out the infinite supply for camo gear armory upgrade. No more can your infiltrators/skirmishers roam the entire map invisible... though you kinda could if you had lots of water and went to allied sietches to resupply.
I know Mother Ramallo is S tier, but I like the combo of Stilgar and Shimoom. The earlier water combined with the Eco benefits really lets you pop off economically. I had a game where I had the -20% Upkeep Sietch along with like 8 or 9 villages producing 12+ water. Felt amazing. Intel was always a problem, tho. Almost won the game through Choam.
@@daevohkYeah, a game I had with that set up required me taking about 6 villages before I found one. Still, once I got it, it was nice. Still, I wish the benefit was a bit stronger considering you have to let some of your villages lay fallow.
Awaken the people can be usefull if you need to crack a fortified position with multiple villages with stacked missile turrets, as dropping one will disable all turrets (but noteably not airfields) on the village. Allowing you to have a better chance when attacking a dreaded atreides multi village death zone. Also some situational usecases like denying fuel cells by awakening an enemies fuel cell region, can be used for making motherships sitting ducks, or to prevent corrino from getting out new arty drones. But definately an expensive option.
This was a really great guide, the advice on developments especially; I'd been going down the left side of econ for that sweet sweet dosh, but playing with the expansion tree first has changed my ways. Love all your content, and can't wait to see more!
I can see what you mean about Fremen as base killers. Against AI on medium, I had a base right next to the Harkonnen main with two missile turrets, all military technologies researched, military factory, defense sabotage, Altar unit to tank the damage, etc... etc... and it took me *four* separate attacks to destroy the base. Against a human player it would have been worse.
Im not sure if you mentioned it and i missed it, but the donkey (aa unit) is actually a deceptively important unit, while fremen aren't great at base diving, their best unit for it, by far is the donkey. In a situation where you're diving a base with other players ive had some success with leaning heavily into the donkey play to just focus down the base, while a capital ship tanks the base missiles and another player ideally tanks the defending army.
@@daevohkThank you sir, incredibly great info in ur guides, and your reply time here is UNHEARD OF 😁! me and my friends picked up this game last week and recently the fremen homie is on a streak (im the corrino guy)
Did I miss that? The Fremen hege spike mostly the same as anyone else's, but due to their aggressive nature you can often kick it off with an annex of a neighbor's special. So it'll look like this: 1. Find your weakest neighbor or most vulnerable bordering special region and try to attack/annex it. (Or you can purely back cap your empty territory if you have maintained enough uncolonized) 2. Try to have this timed just before a spice tax hits. Also build a research center on an allied sietch's blue district space so that the district finishes before tax. (7ish days for construction) 3. Back cap any additional free territory you may have if/when you have the authority to do so. (saved authority PoI are very helpful here.) 4. Have as many craft workshops as possible ticking at this point to help push you over the finish line while you fight for time and delay enemy captures/liberates.
Correct. "Ally ground units with no units of the same kind at Long range deal +50% damage" So you could in theory do all sorts of split pushing with 1 of each guy super charged--you'll still die to a real army but can probably chop up small militias.

Anything can work with enough dedication. Shimoom just breaks if you dont have good wind around you though.

Hopefully they get a buff at base killing. I think the Fremen should be more of a domination threat if you slip up.
Thank you so much for the guides, loving the thematic chapters
Love your faction guides. Hope you make an atreides one soon.
I think the tentative plan is Harkonnen -> Smugglers -> Atreides -> Vernius

As a main fremen player I tell you that you did very well❤
Long live the fighters!

Harks probably next!
Sandy sand tactics! Gracias.
heeeeeeey he is back baby
My guy said not for conquest on a fremen video.
I wish you could play fremen in conquest.
If I pillage the sietch, can the fremen still use them in any way?
They still get to trade, ally, and build there. But they can no longer rally to it, or heal/supply from it

Wait so Othyem’s bonuses for units of not the same type are map wide?

Every time I play fremen I lose, maybe now I can become a good player
