    Hi Mr Paul.! Spectacular shave result, congratulations!!I ordered this same Razorine and with great regret I realized while unboxing it that it had black stains of oil perhaps??? In the place where razor is put...For a new product that it was it was something inexcusable...I returned it the same day....But after that found in many fora that the same occurred to many people...what about shaving??From your point of you is something unique??Would you recommend it???Thanks!!

    Very nice shave Paul. 😌👏
    The Razorine is a fantastic razor when you get used to it. I know I love my shavettes but I actually prefer it to a standard DE. The more you use it like shavette rather than a DE, the better the shave will be, but of course it’s got the safety bar.
    The advantage for me over a standard DE is that it’s so easy to just see the correct shaving angle. If you can use it like a shavette, because the blade doesn’t bend much in the head, the amount you turn it in your hand is the shaving angle.
    The only real disadvantage I’ve found compared to a DE is going sideways on your neck, but you quickly worked out how everyone does it when you inverted the razor.

    Hi Paul. I am very glad to see you using a "made in Italy" razor. Lots of barbers in italy use a DE shavette which is, in some way, similar to the one you used in this video. It is called "Daune", it is made of plastic, it is easier than the razorine, and it has a sort of "two piece" handle just like a classical shavette. I have used the Daune a couple of times but I have never used the razorine. Personally I think that, especially when it comes to a DE shavette,it becomes crucial the use of the "free hand" to carefully stretch the skin. If this is a good practice with DE razors, I think it becomes almost mandatory with DE shavettes. May be that's why your shaving did not come so comfortable. Best :)

      Simone If you never used a Razorine how can you declare that a Daune Is easier? Just curious...

    • @PaulHFilms
      @PaulHFilms  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@giannishaves8586 I was repeating what someone who uses both Duane and Razorine regularly told me, they said the Duane is easier to use, but each person will have different thoughts on them of course.

    • @giannishaves8586
      @giannishaves8586 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PaulHFilms Daune and Razorine was both designs coming from my family (my grandfather, I am at 3rd generation now). Main concept for Daune was to design It for barbers, very light and made by plastic to be cheap and mass distribuited. Behind the Razorine the concept was mainly for self-service use, heavier, premium quality material but costly. Razorine Is more pratical and manouvrable for self service. Anyway It Is interesting (and funny) to look at so many different point of views comparing to my family design concepts...

    • @simonenuzzo2523
      @simonenuzzo2523 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@giannishaves8586 Hi, sorry for the late reply and thanks for the point...I never said the daune is easier to use. I said the the daune is easier, using the term in the figurative sense that the British language usually allows. By saying this I wanted to mean that the Daune is lighter, much more inexpensive than the Razorine, and it does not give you the idea of having a challeging tool in your hand. I aimed at summarising these properties with the term "easier". Sorry if that was unclear. In any case, I confirm what Paul said...also some friends of mine who have used both the razors told me they found the Daune easier to use...but each one has his personal impression...for instance I think that the higher weight of the razorine is instead supposed to promote less pressure on the skin, thus making the overall shaving process more comfortable. Congratulations on the Razorine production and good luck with it. Best Reagrds

    To get a good shave with Razorine or shavette is to be able to shave left side with left hand and right with right, the moment you cross your hands over that's were I get issues, like end up cutting and nicking myself. So I've given up 🤣 It's so much easier and I think that's how you should shave right hand right and left hand left cheek, but for some reason when I start shaving I forget and try to shave all with my right hand, BAD MOVE🤣

    Paul wie immer ein super interessanter Beitrag, aber das mit dem Reiserasierer ist ja wohl nicht ganz Dein Ernst :) da muss man ja ein ganzes Arsenal an Ausrüstung mit schleppen wenn man denn mal verreist (Alaunstein, Pflaster ...) . Was ich allerdings sehr interessant fand - die Handhabung erinnert mich sehr an ein Rasiermesser. Zweiteilig ist der Rasierer für mein Empfinden aber nicht, sondern dreiteilig, wenn man die Schraube mit zählt.

    Hello Sir Paul..thank you for the Wednesday shave..my critique is the following:
    The razor is a beautiful instrument, but dangerous & it doesn't seem too enjoyable to be using it on the face,..
    The brush looks pretty decent & although I'm not a fan of Musgo products , i'am a fan of Orange scents....
    The pre-soap idea seemed ok, until it began to dry out, the coconut oil seems like a potential hit...
    What killed it for me was the Hi-Karate, It took me back to the 70's , I never liked it back then & by what it did to you're skin,
    I can see why I didn't like it, decades later😀
    The flower arrangement by Mrs.H beautiful as always..
    Cheers
    David
