I just don't get why some people " hate on" Phil. All the guy does is involve the fans, creates incredible short shots and carry himself with class. This was one of the best final charges I have ever seen
They (a vocal minority) hate on him because he represents traditional America! You know, a Man and Woman Marriage like our Lord intended! Brings three children into the World with Amy....
I'm so glad Phil won this championship, considering he said he struggled to adjust to Open conditions earlier in his career, yet on probably the toughest course on the rota, he played the best golf of his life!
He can be a major cheeseball for the camera sorry. For example when him and his family are all dressed in white on sunday at the masters and have a circle hug prayer.
Phil has always been my favorite modern golfer. Phil has made so many great shots from bad situations under trees and never gives up. He’s always a high risk high reward golfer. Always been a gentlemen. Way to go Phil! Don’t stop!
Such a huge win for Phil. After collapsing in majors early in his career, he's proven that he is one of the greatest golfers in history - coming through five times in major championships with amazing Sunday rounds. I think Phil can still get to 7-8 majors. He finished second in the last two and still has some great golf left in him.
Not sure he can get to 7 or 8. I think he'll probably have another opportunity to win a major (hopefully the US Open), but either way he will always be one of the best!
Unfortunately for him, he happened to play in the same era where the most dominant player in golf history also played. Had Phil played in any other era, he would definitely have the Slam and over 10 Majors
@@vashthestampede11 yeah tiger was dominant but as he got older he was less dominant from 2010 on Mickelson was better than tiger even though tiger was way younger than tiger.
He was methodical in his preparation for this, he played the Scottish open the week before to help him with his lynx play. I was pleased he won it, he’s a good guy.
People hating on the female commentator - is the dude much better? "And so Phil Mickelson with a chance to seal it here on 18, with the leaders four holes behind him." Er, what?
Let's not forget the final nine that Gary Player put together to win the '78 Masters, a run that actually started on the eighth or ninth hole that Sunday. That enabled him to come from seven behind to beat three players, including the reigning Masters and U.S. Open champions, by one shot.
Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan, Walter Hagen, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson....you can make your own order and I'm sorry bro, but Phil Mickelson isn't ahead of any of these guys. That wanker Faldo has more majors than Phil. Phil is a special player but top 5? Not even a sniff. If you're impressed by runner-up finishes, here's a stat for you....Jack Nicklaus has 19 2nd place finishes in major championships.

Whos here after Phil won the PGA

They'll never be another Phil Mickelson. He's THAT good.
Whatta baller

Yup! worthy of comparisons to Arnold Palmer!

Oh please get over yourself lol. He’s no different then every other golfer with a wife & child
@@atiboyful lmfao you’re a joke
@@jaredreynolds7115 Respectully, you are the joke tonight. You are somehow against traditional America and that make you UnAmerican
Those two shots on hole #17 were amazing!
2021 PGA Champion!!
I remember that win I was jumping up and down! the year before I got into golf Phil is and will always be my #1 favorite golfer!
I'll never forget that as long as I live

Phil mickelson is really best golf player and i enjoy watch him to play. If he can keep his drive on fairway he's unstopable..

A lynx is an animal.
It's also a brand of deodorant
Love his left handed swing..hehe💫
I was there it was a great win in very tough conditions the TV doesnt do it justice
That putt at 17 reminds me of Jack's at 18 in '86 Masters.
Phil's golf is amazing to watch
Such a shame Westwood could never close out a Major. He just could never get it done with clutch putting.
birdie the last hole to finish it off! So badass, so clutch
Who the hell let that lady say 'bird'

Awesome stuff phil
I don't know who the female commentator is in this video, but she doesn't know anything about golf.
Yeah :/ oh well
His "drive" went onto the green! LOL
yeah xD
Jack Nicklaus at Augusta 1986 remains the back nine in history. Last ten holes in -7 to win at aged 46.
Westwood in forest colours, hard luck mate
Time for at least 2014 hat trick Phil, I know a godfather rooting for you, like ... Inbees...this season. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
