Love this video because I watched your videos after my brain surgery. One of the side effects is memory and have problems deciding what to do. So after watching you build a computer, I bought all the parts you recommend and with the of your videos and the parts customer support I managed to do it right. My next step is to upgrade the computer so I can do more video materials.
I started watching this guy about 15 years ago and that kitchen still looks exactly how it did then. I learnt how to build my first pc after studying his builds for about 6 months and now i build high end gaming PCs myself. The guy is a master.
Thank You for this video. It was very informative and useful. I like the longer vid's for sure. But, these shorter video's are great as well. Thank you for taking the time to teach.
Did you also retrieve missing tab from broken front panel? I haven't tuned in for quite some time. Bumped into you on an Amazon review, which by the way you innocently fumbled. (OXO jar opener). Hope you still welcome polite feedback. Thank you for sharing your technical knowledge. I have learned much from you Carey. You are a great teacher. I believe this may be my first time commenting since discovering your channel a decade ago.
Looked to me like somebody attempted to install something in that drive bay. Just makes sense to me because the only time I've ever seen one of those covers crack and fall inside the case is when it doesn't pop out easily and someone hits it with the handle of their screwdriver or some other object. Also, tinkering around inside the case might explain how that pin got bent as well.
This customer or someone they know didn’t know what they were doing and screwed up their computer. Broken parts were either in frustration or rough shipping. Mystery solved.
Fascinating video. Thanks Carey. Just axqyick question if allowed. You saybyou never turn on TPM, which is fine, but do you not need it for Windows 11 setup? Or should I avoid upgrading to windows 11 anyway? Thank you.
I still love the corsair 200r case. I am still an optical drive person. I want one just in case I need it. I do not like the external ones I feel like they are cheaply made. I do have enough regular size optical drives I can make them external.
I need to know how to build a Computer Again, I can't find any of your Videos on How to Build an Office PC. I have recently purchased PC parts for My Grandmother and I need to see how to do it. Here are the parts I chose: Thermaltake V100 ATX Case/Chassis whatever you call it Gigabyte H-470M Intel LGA1700 Socket Motherboard Intel Pentium LGA1700 CPU 2x8GB Corsair 2400MHz DDR4 RAM Crucial 1TB NVME Drive ASUS Internal DVD/CD Reader & Writer EVGA 80+ Bronze 500w PSU I got Acronis to Transfer her data from the old PC to the New built PC. I am using a Sabrient Enclosure to Transfer the files from it since she has USB It had a lot of 'top notch' features you would be seeing in a top line Dell Core i5 based PC with Windows 10 pro (it once had Windows 7 pro). The old one was built in 2013.
Classic Carey Holzman studio like the good old days… The Kitchen!
@@Roachy20 Agreed
Been watching this guy since I was 12. Now I’m 24. Helped me a lot career wise and when fixing computers.
@@thecomptech2113 I’ve been watching since I was 11 and now I’m 23 and married! It’s even crazier cause I’m from the Phoenix area too!
I remember this video. I've always loved the work you put into builds and repairs. Helped me to step my game up big time. Shout out to Mati!!!
Love the old kitchen studio videos

Attention: No data was harmed in the making of this video. The customer had a back up and so should you!

Excellent job of explaining everything you are doing in layman's language that anybody can understand.

I still miss the 200r that was like the perfect case if you just wanted to build something quick and easy without needing to impress someone with RGB.

@stevetheyer6840 this is a very old video. Information has been updated and tpm is required for windows 11
@@CareyHolzman Thanks for the info. Do you think windows 11 is also required? Or should I stick with windows 10 for now. Thanks again.
That's a decision only you can make.

Does this happen for Windows 11 systems and systems with a physical TPM module installed instead of a virtual one?
Physical TPMs and virtual TPMs behave exactly the same.
