Amy Grant this never gets old I love watching your stories with Katie Kuric and I love singing your music. I am gearing up for my fourth year with our towns holiday showcase and every year I sing music of yours your Christmas music is so peaceful and meaningful and people love it I am legally blind but that doesn’t stop me I sing out I can still seeing the notes I sing with what I hear and people are blown away it’s so heartwarming❤
I would be on a Talk Show with Katie Couric or anybody about caring for my aging families, my aging relatives. Whenever I'm feeling down, and feeling upset I'll be gladly have somebody to talk to about difficult times and rough times I've been going through in my life. Seeing my true love Amy Grant on a Talk Show talking about Caring for her aging parents with Dementia, it makes me want to cry!
God such an Angel this lady is to her parents .It makes me want to stop being so selfish and start helping other important people in my life .Thanks Amy God is always Good
My mother just got diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. I'd heard that story about the Dr. saying it wasn't hereditary before, but I'd never heard the part about what kind she had. So, watching this, I just had the same kind of moment that Amy had. I called my sister and let her know. We have been worried about that. Of course Mama's care is more important and that's what we've focused on, but we did want to know. I'm so glad I saw this.
I'm a longtime Any Grant Fan & Christian singer/songwriter in a huge crises. My 2 young daughters were taken from me by the DCFS 10 months ago due to postpartum depression & bipolar disorder... (I never abused them). They are with their schizophrenic father who continues to abuse them and neglect them. They need HELP!!! The DCFS REFUSES to remove them and bring them back home to me. Please *PRAY* for us, that God will grant us a *MIRACLE* & bring them home to me!
My gran had dementia in her later years in her 80s and into her 90s and when she was 100 she died at the age of 101 and had moments when she could remember what she had for breakfast and then what happened in a book she was reading and then she would forget altogether
As a former Christian, I know what Amy is thinking. As a Wiccan, I know what all are going through as my Mom has Cancer, so i feel the same pain. I just pray that we can all cry together!!!
the first time I ever paid any attention to Katie was on Late night w/ Craig Ferguson. I honestly was prepared to dislike her. Instead I was enchanted ! She was absolutely delightful! She was like someone I grew up w/, like the girl next door! Iexpected her to be so much more worldly and sohisticated. But she was warm and so not worldly! Craig actually made her blush! Really like her now!!
I'm so glad Amy Grant talks about this subject. My sister and I have gone through this very thing, with our mother. My sister is geographically closer, so much of the responsibility has fallen on her shoulders, but we came together as siblings should, to get her to a safe place. We laugh a great deal, because mother is so funny.
Its great she could help her parents and not have to really give up anything but emotions...she is super rich and could afford to get the best help and not worry about working....the majority of people who find themselves in this situation CANNOT. There are many folks caring for their parents or sick relatives who are living in poverty because they have to quit their jobs etc. THEY are they REAL heroes...
honey, Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor's Goods....remember ? she had a dream that she followed from a teenager, and God blessed her.....you jealous ?she's just as much a hero for taking care of her parents as anybody else is....she COULD have turned away, like SO MANY have....she did not.
Well there you have it CHRISTIANS. An Atheist has shown more love than you ever will. I have found this true of many atheists. Even though I have held onto my faith (although hard at times since the church turned it's back on me because I am gay) more athesits have showed me love and kindess than any Christian ever has. I am paraphrasing this but basically Jesus said, many will say I cast out demons in your name. And He (Jesus) will say I know you not.
shes not a homewrecker! She never cheated on her ex. I think she was in an abusive relationship (verbally and emotionally, I think) so thats why she had to leave.
@@susannichols1102 So what? In sickness and in health. Don't think you-know-who is pure either. Would you rather be an addict seeking help, or an adulteress who wipes her mouth and says she's done no wrong?
Beautiful words from Amy Grant that can help us all. The interviewer seemed cold and like she didn't get any sense of what Amy or others who have been in her shoes feel or go through.
But this is about Amy Grant and caring for a loved one who can't care for themself. I appreciate her transparency as a person! I have been caring for my daughter for 23 yrs, she's completely dependent and on a ventilator, but her mind is sound. I can identify w/ this! Not a dry eye...
Besides the Heart In Motion album, Amy Grant's music doesn't interest me much. I'm also an atheist. But I always kind of wondered: is she a genuine person, or just another homophobic, anti-gay, coo-coo Christian Conservative? Her music never gave me that idea, but her being a Christian Republican from Georgia I had some questions. This interview answered them, and it shows that she is, in fact, a genuine person.
Hypocrite? When you're fingerpointing, 3 fingers always showback. You might not know the background, why she decided to leave the father of her first 3 children. Amy Grant was dying spiritually when her (ex)husband tried to compete with her success. Even after Amy had cut back her career for over 3 years she was more popular than him. Instead of love and support in the relationship she had to endure it. 17 years of this unhealthy condition were enough time to grow up and be a real man.
He was also stealing her tour money to fuel his cocaine habit. I feel bad for their marriage but she tried to stick it out as long as she could. And today...where is Gary? Hopefully not in a gutter somewhere. Things happen. Bless her and here's hoping Gary cleaned his life up.
i have seen some really sad things coming from Christians shame on us? if you want to be a true Christian get rid of all your pictures even the last supper and chop off all of you fingers lest some think you worshiping Satan and if you try to make an honest living as a performer lets judge them to death?? where is our Love did we forget who we are i see this and it makes me ashamed of you people? Repent and seek god and stop looking for demons under every rock and branch> When a dead tree becomes devils horns than i think our love has died
So, IndigoBullet, someone is supposed to stay in an unhappy marriage? I don't think a loving God would want that. And if he does, then he's not worth having.

I adore Amy Grant.... Her music, voice and being impress me....
shes not only pretty, a beautiful person inside and out..., i love her voice and songs she made.,
9:46: "D'you want tears? Because this is how you get tears." 😿
I really like everything about Amy Grant, but MAN is she gorgeous! At 52, or whatever she is, she still melts my heart whenever I see her. Wow.

So sorry for to hear that about u. Don't throw your life away like this. Hell is a real place. You don't wanna go there.
"Hell is a real place."
Um no, only in your delusional mind.
Consider Jesus Christ once again. OMuireadhaigh and I fully believe, you were never saved..."Jesus comes to seek and to save that which were lost."

Looks like Katie has a little 'chick crush' on Amy.

Amy would say the same thing. Those people would be her heroes.

None of that is true, but keep trying to justify sin.

I've met her a couple of times and she's incredibly warm and kind to everyone.

I would have loved to have watched this interview with Amy but I simply can NOT STOMACH the arrogant, insufferable person sitting opposite her.
Given that statement no one should believe a critique from you

being a god christian doesn't mean that you should encourage chasing another woman's husband and wrecking two families lives.
