Ticket already in hand! Thank you for streaming the NY shows, Jedd. For those who can't be there, you have no idea how much I appreciate still being able to see and hear and feel. Wishing you all -- the very best night(s) ever. Peace. Love. Music. Safe travels!
Hey Jedd, Thanks again for your wonderful hosting last week. We enjoyed the shows immensely, and are so grateful you spent time with us. I've posted quite a few videos, hopefully people get on board and we see your star shine brightly. We'll see you again on down the road, my friend. Safe travels.
Thank you for that really cool card!! Beautifully written! So great to meet you and your sweet lady! Still can’t believe you guys flew all the way out from Cali! So cool!! Thank you so much!
@JeddHughesOfficial Our pleasure, for sure. Along with the world class talent of you and the guys, we had such a great time seeing friends we've made as part of this great Guitar Community you've all built. Been chatting with the England chaps, and we all discovered a love of the Partridge Family from a simple shirt. Throw in the great food, the ghost hunting and the fantastic weather and it's a no-brainer. We've got you, Jedd, and we'll be back.
Great show at the basement. It was so great to see and hear you, Guthrie and Uncle Larry in action and all the other amazing musicians! Jordon Perlson is a legend!! Holy smokes!!! Anyways thanks for being such a gracious person. Cheers mate.
Hey Jedd, I really enjoyed the Basement show, and great talking to you! Didn't know you were a Skaggs fan back in Australia, I recorded and mixed all of his '80's country records.
Hey …saw a clip of you doing big blue sky at the basement with mr b and mr t …what a song, and the playing and vocals were just so on it ! Have to say your acoustic solo was extraordinary. Whoever manages to get to see you all live are in for such a treat. Big respect to you mr h !! Oh can you see yourself coming to uk to play ???? Go well
I love it when people love a norlin era. I have a 73 custom. Went back to ya first vid with it to find the model. Mike at ATB guitars was asked his fav guitars that came through the shop. All those 50s an 60s vintage guitars an he said one of these reissues took the cake
Right on man, yeah I connected with this one instantly, even with low frets I felt like it had a vibe and its really come around with a couple of tweaks.
Came across your performances with Sarah Buxton recently. Gems. Everyone of them. It's been great learning about and listening to all you Nashville cats.
I just signed up for the newsletter. I would have hopped the train into NYC for that show. I'm happy it sold out but bummed I didn't get ticket. Next time.
All the best for the NYC gigs Jedd! Catching up on the vids at the Basement - Big Blue Sky, just beautiful. Please, please come back to Aus next year, I'll fly/drive/ roller skate to wherever you're playing. Good on ya mate.
I watch Uncle Larry and think, he has All the Cool Guitars. Then I watch Your channel, and I think, Ol' Larry ain't got em' All............Love your Picking also Brother!
Killer intro with horns or harmonica stand up bass small drum kit this would be awesome. If radio execs had any balls it could be on the radio. I think listeners are more savvy than the execs have brains.
Great show at The Basement Jedd! This collab between you guys is great. I am loving it. I selfishly want to keep you all to ourselves here in Music City, but I guess we can share with NY and CHI.
I look forward to hearing that Ron Ellis pickup. Your channel was instrumental (pun intended) to me buying Ron's 50B bridge pickups for my partscaster teles. Love them!
Hey Jedd, I caught a couple of the songs you did at The Basement. Outstanding man, I really loved what I heard. The LP in this upload is right up my alley. I love the mix of the P90 and the Gold mini bucker. And boy howdy that head stock came out gorgeous. A lot of my local jam buddies are horrified by what I show up with. I always hear, how the h*ll could you do that to such a nice guitar? LOL, at this point I do it more to shock them than to please myself. Sounds like things are going well my friend. I'm happy for you brother. All the best to you and yours. Enjoy New York and oh man, a Ricky Skaggs session. That is so cool. Cheers from Chicago.
I’m having a 335 built by Josh Williams and went with the Ellisonic in the neck and his standard humbucker bridge. I was a little worried about the blend because I haven’t seen the combo before, but I completely forgot Les Paul had that combo.
Some tasty nuggets on that opener. Might have to steal a few of dem slippery suckers... 😀👍 You a D Grissom fan, Jedd?? He's an ole fav of mine... KY guy too ... lol
@@JeddHughesOfficial Thanks Jedd. I've thought a lot about fret size and the impact on my playing, but I've never correlated it to the radius of the fretboard. That's a great insight. Thank you.
Alnico 5 staple baby! The best…i have an r54 black beauty with an staple and a p90…was yours black originally? Love your playing brother! That D aug backward V I lick is killlin!
I saw a couple videos from "The Basement", cool venue, great gig!! There is something on the way to you soon. Everyone has been ill around here 8( I got the things in 2012, and I couldn't find them! I finally did, I'm such a pack rat! LOL Won't be long! Everything sounds great mate!! Have a good one in NYC!! Take care out there! 8) Peace --gary
So you have a firebird on the bridge and staple in the neck on a custom Paul. I have a standard Paul with p90 neck and mini humbucker in the bridge from Mod shop. I find this combo to be very flexible. What’s the weight on that custom? Cheers

Hey Jedd, I really enjoyed the Basement show, and great talking to you! Didn't know you were a Skaggs fan back in Australia, I recorded and mixed all of his '80's country records.
Hey Marshall, it was great meeting you man and I look forward to hanging soon! I have many questions now knowing that! ha!
Perfect soundtrack for this rainy day in Nebraska, USA. Firebird are my favorite bridge pickups. That one sounds a bit overwound to me.
Not bad if your into that kind of thing 🤣. CRIKEY! Amazing as always, Jedd! Thank you and good luck with the upcoming shows!!
Have a wonderful trip to NYC!!

That might just be THE perfect guitar. Sounds absolutely stunning, Jedd!
It’s not a bad ole slab eh!
What a great, great "feel" you have Jedd, melodic playing is where it's at, and you've got that in spades !!
Thank you mate!! Really appreciate that man

Thank you mate, Its a beauty eh, I spent years looking for that one
Way cool Jedd! Are you coming to Chicago in February with Guthrie and Tom? That would be wicked awesome!

Wow, those fingers have a lot to say!!! Love it
Killer intro with horns or harmonica stand up bass small drum kit this would be awesome. If radio execs had any balls it could be on the radio. I think listeners are more savvy than the execs have brains.
Clearly solved the bridge pickup issue on the '54 reissue! The firebird pickup sounds killer!!!!
What was the issue?
Great show at The Basement Jedd! This collab between you guys is great. I am loving it. I selfishly want to keep you all to ourselves here in Music City, but I guess we can share with NY and CHI.
Always sound so damn good!
Thanks Pete!

I look forward to hearing that Ron Ellis pickup. Your channel was instrumental (pun intended) to me buying Ron's 50B bridge pickups for my partscaster teles. Love them!
Right on mate! nice pun, ha
Love those 50B pickups man
Any plans to cross paths with Oz Noy while you’re up at the bitter end?
Holy Smokes - killer playing and tones. Please come to Brisbane for a show.... maybe even a clinic at Pedal Empire?

I wish you could show the thing you played at the slow down. That chord or whatever that was. Really cool.
Killer Les Paul Custom and I love the pickups and the layout! What year is it? Never seen that finish on a Les Paul before
Its a 1973 54 reissue mate, old brown refin
I’m having a 335 built by Josh Williams and went with the Ellisonic in the neck and his standard humbucker bridge. I was a little worried about the blend because I haven’t seen the combo before, but I completely forgot Les Paul had that combo.
I hear nothing but very high praise about his builds, love to check one out one of these days!
Some tasty nuggets on that opener. Might have to steal a few of dem slippery suckers... 😀👍
You a D Grissom fan, Jedd??
He's an ole fav of mine... KY guy too ... lol
Staple critter is a secret weapon!
Is that a Firebird pickup and a P90? Sounds so great 😃 man I really enjoy your playing. Have a great night. Break a String.
It is mate, thanks man
Was that a harmonic trem near the end Jed? Sounded sweet…
Mark Punch has a video on here of him playing through his 59 Bassman. One of the greatest guitar tones you’ll ever hear on TH-cam.
Say Jedd can you tell me where can I buy the streaming for your New York show? I went to your website but couldn’t find any info?
There is a link in the comments section now mate or on my instagram page
Would love to see you play some shows in AUS!
Next year mate, fingers crossed
@ maybe a masterclass if possible…
Another great video Jedd. Do you tend to put the same frets in every guitar or mix it up? What is your preferred size?
Not really mate, depends on the radius for me, more radius = skinnier frets as a general rule for what i like
@@JeddHughesOfficial Thanks Jedd. I've thought a lot about fret size and the impact on my playing, but I've never correlated it to the radius of the fretboard. That's a great insight. Thank you.
Hey Jedd, whatßs that P90 in the neck position ...sounds great !
Les Paul actually had a DeArmond in the neck position on one of his goldtops, semi-hidden under a p90 cover, you can see it clearly in some pictures
That’s right! Wow I forgot about that!
You boys will be bringing some real class to Bleecker St! Tell Tommy to leave the GTO home, tough parking in the Village lol
hahahaha i will mate, man that thing looks and sounds spectacular
Alnico 5 staple baby! The best…i have an r54 black beauty with an staple and a p90…was yours black originally? Love your playing brother! That D aug backward V I lick is killlin!

Ah mate that’s too kind man. Rest up and take care of yourself Gary. I wish I could send ya a big pot of chicken soup mate!
Way to stick the landing on the last cadence! 😮
Haha got lucky on that one!
@ I’ve always said: “I’d rather be lucky than good!” BUT, when you combine them, THAT’S called success!
So you have a firebird on the bridge and staple in the neck on a custom Paul. I have a standard Paul with p90 neck and mini humbucker in the bridge from Mod shop. I find this combo to be very flexible. What’s the weight on that custom? Cheers
Yeah its a good combo mate, this one is 9pounds on the dot
Ricky designed his own Triple Driver in ear monitors. Ask him about them!
Will do!
The Ellisonics in my guitar are freakin' amazing, I can't say I've played anything I like better! I'm sure yours will be perfect :)
They are incredible eh! Ron is the man
I just love the beefiness power of a lester. Your name is not Jedd rather Jedi.

See you in NY Jed. The skills are just impeccable. Alright enough ass kissing. See you soon, we love you.
