- In October 2014 during the "Peace Through Music World Tour" in the Brazilian city of Curitiba, the PFC Band performed a magical night of music in front of a sold-out crowd to benefit the creation of a new PFC Foundation music school in the community.
There are moments when music transcends the darkness and shows us the light. This is one of those moments.

Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

Watching this, one of my absolute favourites in June 2020. My heart is standing by my brothers and sisters in USA who are hurting. This song is so right for the time right now. We must all stand together against prejudice and injustice, but looting and criminality is NOT the way. Playing for change is one of the best ways to share the love around the world. They don't care the colour of someone's skin and neither do I. Just look at the talent pool PFC has and only at times like this do I even notice the color of their skin. We are all Gods children. We must stand together and reach out the hand of friendship to those who need it. Thank you

Essa música é muito importante para mim e passou a fazer parte da minha vida. Entre julho e agosto de 2020 eu tive Covid 19 evoluindo com a forma grave da doença, com 80% de comprometimento pulmonar. Fiquei 27 dias internado, sendo 21 dias em UTI e por todo esse período fiquei muito só, tendo a sensação que não ia resistir, longe da família. Na semana que eu estava clinicamente pior, foi aniversário da minha esposa e eu estava sentindo uma falta imensa dela e dos meus filhos e eu quis fazer uma surpresa para ela no dia do aniversário. Procurando no You Tube achei essa música e a letra dizia tudo que eu estava sentindo e precisando naquele momento. A psicóloga do hospital enfeitou todo meu quarto de UTI com balões, cartazes e fizemos uma chamada de vídeo para minha esposa e filhos. Toda equipe médica e de enfermagem estava também presente. Como não podia me expressar muito, este vídeo dizia tudo o que eu queria falar para eles, principalmente no dia do aniversário da minha esposa, que sempre esteve forte ao meu lado. Foi muito emocionante! Com a graça de Deus me recuperei bem e estou junto a família que tanto amo.
