I think you did an excellent review. I love the layout of the can but it is not washable. It left me a gross build up if I wash it with shampoo . The scent for me was more like a generic shampoo in the 80’s . It’s ok but it’s just ok. You hit the performance of this pomade on the head. However, it is a fun one to style with and works great for a low level of activity like a working from home situation. Great review, thanks for doing an OB review.
Hi, i have 2 pomades of dax but they are red, and on the package has a code: BEST USED BY 03_2021 and on the other has only BEST USED BY 2025. So my question is,can i use the pomades to the date that is write on package or ? Do you have any experience, please check it out that and give me your honest opinion,im a barber and i really will appreciate it your opinion. Thanks
I think you mean "red text", and you're probably referring to the Dax Hair Shaper. The Hair Shaper is water based with a creamier consistency and has less hold than this one, having a medium hold

This was my first pomade from Dax. Picked it up under the impression that it's easily washable.
If you picked it up believing it's washable...you're gonna have a bad time.
