    Here are some stats - Spurs has the highest Goals scored in the EPL so far. Their GD is 4th on the table. Their top scorer is Madds with 8 of the 39 goals scored - Salah has 15 out of 37. They aren't relying on a winning player but on an attacking team. Previous to this defeat to league leader - their biggest loss was 1 goal down. & they still manage to score 3 goals against Pools. They have a depleted team with 10 men out. I think Ange is doing well with what he has. Are you not entertained?

      Spurs are not going anywhere with the way they play. Scored 3 but still lost by SIX. You can't be losing if you score 3 in a match and definely not by 6. Liverpool could've scored 10 in the first half alone. A disastrous home performance. Depleted? Then plan & play better. You can't just play the same high press when you know you can't do it. Liverpool were too kind in this match. Tbh I prefer to watch Bournmouth, Brighton or Forest play even when depleted, they adopt smarter diciplined tactics. Spurs are enjoyable but consistently chaotic. The problem in this game was the midfield which all were the experienced first team choice with Son, Mads, Kulusveski & Bassoma. They were bystanders for the majority of this game.

    People do not understand that Ange is setting us up mentally for the future - it is not about the here and now - we need to change our culture, and he is installing a winning mentality. It is a work in progress, and results will be like this. In the future, I think he will adapt, but for now, he has an objective to achieve, and we are on a good path - why can't people see this rather than slack him game after game......back the manager, he is the best thing about Spurs for a very long time!!

      @@carlosrenkin6953 While it's frustrating to see Spurs get hammered by 6 goals, it's important to understand Ange's long-term vision. He's focused on building a strong, winning mentality and a sustainable future for the club, which involves changing the team's culture and approach. This process takes time and patience, and while immediate tactical adjustments are expected, the broader goal is to create a team that can consistently perform at a high level.

    It's a weird narrative going around that "Ange has no Plan B", which is clearly ridiculous because all managers have different tactics depending on what's happening, but then when the "pundits" analyse what they saw in the match, they only seem to talk about the players failing to perform rather than clear tactical errors from the coach.
    "Why did Liverpool run 6 past Spurs" - is it because the manager went in with a bad plan? Should he have parked the bus more and countered? No that's not what the commentators say, they say the backline is full of kids and the midfielders are too lazy or unaware to track back in support so Spurs are disjointed when Liverpool, arguably best counter attack in the League, take possession and stream forward. Do Spurs win trying to crowd their box and play counter against Liverpool? Doubt it. If you score 3 you should have high hopes of not conceding 3, so clearly the defenders were comprehensively outplayed.

  • @geir8849
    @geir8849 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    The narrative about the club forcing Marcus out, is based on no evidence at all. No way Rubin puts Rashford out of the team on order from the leadership. Ruben said it's about performance in the training and games, and yes we all have seen his lack of effort. Rashford have gone to the media himself instead of trying to follow Ruben's demand. So the Rashford defenders have vert weak arguments.

    Good commentary except the bit about saying Sarr and Bissouma don’t sense danger or make tackles. They have been run into the ground and played a lot of mins in our previous two games - Utd on Thursday. This was a symptom of fatigue, injuries and lack of ability to rotate. Not a time to judge whether the players can make a tackle. Sarr is one of the leagues best at covering ground and winning the ball back. Get your analysts to do a bit more research before drawing lazy conclusions that are factually incorrect.

    Tottenham Hotspur's prolonged trophy drought can be significantly attributed to the negativity surrounding its fanbase. Many supporters are quick to criticize players, management, and Daniel Levy, creating a toxic environment that hinders performance and deters potential signings. This impatience leads to frequent managerial changes, often dismissing great managers like José Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and now Ange Postecoglou after only 18 months or so, preventing the establishment of a consistent philosophy necessary for success.
    When results decline, protests against Levy emerge, demoralizing the squad and fostering division. While fans may rally behind the team during winning streaks, the atmosphere shifts to hostility during tough times, creating insecurity among players. Additionally, the negative media environment, fueled by vloggers and social media, amplifies grievances and perpetuates a cycle of despair.
    After the successes of renowned managers, it’s clear that the issue lies not with them but with the fans and the negativity surrounding the club. Until the fanbase can cultivate a more supportive and constructive atmosphere, Tottenham will struggle to attract top talent and build a sustainable path to success. Unity and positivity are essential for breaking free from this cycle of disappointment.
