    I’m pretty sure I had the exact same thought that everyone had when I saw that massager.
    Which is “that looks like an invaluable tool in order to aid in recovery following a very tough run”.

      I cycled 45 mile yesterday towing a traier with 2 kids in it, I used the mini gun massager when I got home. The next day, not one bit of pain or muscle soreness.

    I use my massage gun every night. Some great new suggestions to try too, thank you. Maybe your mum can try different compression garments? Or post run smoothies?

    Those boots are awesome! I had the pleasure of trying them on at the NYC marathon expo, even went back on the 2nd day of the expo for another go before the marathon. Saving up to get a pair soon. Yes the price is steep but it a great product to have pre and post race, your legs will thank you!

    Hello Anna, speaking of long runs, will you be taking part in a long run in April in Boston?
    I ran and completed the Disney marathon in January and yes long runs can be killers,
    especially in my area. I live in Haverhill, MA. As the name indicates. there are a fair number
    of hills and when you are hitting them 17 or 18 miles into a run it is tough. Originally sent

    I love running for the relatively low tech simplicity of it. The only expensive bit of kit when I first ran in the eighties was a pair of trainers which tended to last a lot longer then than they do now. Since then it's high tech clothing, high tech watches, high tech recovery tools and the expensive pampering products.
    Running has become an industry rather than a relaxing pastime and unfortunately rather environmentally damaging in the process.

    • @duncanbiscuit3545
      @duncanbiscuit3545 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No one is asking you to partake in the purchasing of these products are they?
      Just a moan for the sake of moaning, another british pastime you seem to enjoy.

      Вы совершенно правы, также, как просмотр детьми много часовых мультфильмов и потом дети начинают требовать с родителей, купить этих персонажей, в огромном супермаркете, это огромная обманчивая индустрия.

    Those inflatable boots, are basically a commercial version of what you get at my work if you've had a stroke. I actually wore them post surgery once and found them incredibly comfortable, but not sure if I'd have the same experience without the morphine.

    This device gives a pulsating massage, not to be confused with an actual vibrator. (which everyone was thinking it was) Bob and Brad have one similar and it is only to be used for up to 2 minutes on a muscle and not on bones. They give good relief for tight or sore muscles.

    When my friend sent me a photo if his massage gun and bits, I first thought it was a drill kit and then something else… I had to ask him if he’d meant to send it to someone else… dodgy…

      @@duncanbiscuit3545 Really? I'd like to see a comparison. Pricier doesn't always mean better. The products featured seem expensive and its not clear to me why these specific ones were chosen. I'd like running to be as inclusive as possible - at least let people know there are other options out there. I should add that my comment wasn't meant as a criticism, simply a question. The Running Channel does some of the best TH-cam content out there.
