Absolutely GUTTED we didn't get to see Sarah and Rick's faces when they were shown the yellow cars they ran past 😭 please add a big reveal for the winner at the end with the group together in future challenges, it really makes the videos!
The editing on this video was just superb! Also huge shoutout to whoever drafted the legal notice. Couldn't help but to read it in its entirety. Made my day :)
You should do a scavenger hunt, eg a red bus, a women with a push chair, a man with a pushchair, an emergency services vehicle, either all of them randomly or in a specific order 😅
@@runningchannelyeah let’s get another one! But maybe the runners have to shuffle the items on a randomiser or something so they have to find the same items but in their own unique order or something
As a blind person, My first thought was keep running until you see a guide dog or a long white cane. Keep it up guys love the channel. Would ye ever do a showcase to the general public of how people with visual impairments use teathers and other equipment to go running safely?
I would have happily accepted this challenge, as I don't even have to step outside the office to see a yellow car. It's parked outside virtually everyday and another one is about 1.5km away. Would have been an easy win !!!
Such a funny challenge 😂 Rick and Sarah both missing yellow cars, especially with Sarah bigging up her observational skills 🤣 And the growing annoyance and frustration about not being able to find a yellow car 🤣
This is so fun! We used to play the yellow car game on our way to school! We'd bike to school in a group of friends, and the first one to spot a yellow car and call it, won :-) Inspiration for things you can run until you spot: - a fire truck - tandem bicycle - people getting married - person cleaning windows - Christmas lights outside of november to january
I think a sense of direction challenge... without any assistance, run north and see how far north you actually go. Should surely be on a cloudy day, and I feel in the countryside too for some reason...
Great video! Definitely should do a summary cut at the end where you are all together when you reveal the results as well as capturing reactions to the missed yellow cars haha
I am offering up 2 challenges. A) Marathon: Point to Pinnacle. Hobart. Tasmania. B) 2 hour pub run. Scull 1 beer every 12 minutes. Collect beer coasters at each pub.
I like this series. Run until you an inflatable object, run until you see someone in an England shirt, run until you see someone in a costume, run until you see a black and white dog.
I had more fun trying to triangulate your starting point from your distances, having worked out that Sarah was in Shoreditch, Andy was just up the road in sort of Angel direction, Jess was in Soho (I would have headed for Trafalgar Square and just stood there), and Rick was in Southgate. Good fun.
Three things: 1) Yellow cars are not dying out in Scotland - loads in Glasgow! I’d have found one inside two minutes. 2) the car passing Sarah was GOLD, not yellow! 3) Rick definitely wins the award for best shade of yellow. Some of the others are a bit dodgy 😂
Idea for next challenge: Each runner start from a spot with relatively the same distance to a specific landmark. Run toward that landmark and back to the starting point--without going through the same street. Research beforehand is allowed but cannot use any digital guidance during the run. (e.g. navigate with watch). The runner who runs the shortest distance without repeating the same route wins.
No wonder Andy was so angry - he ran twice as far as everyone else!😂 I hope Jess found a nice dark room to recover in (I'm still not quite convinced that her car was yellow. Kinda borderline green...🤔)
Andy listing car colours reminds me of the Underworld track : Juanita where some of the lyrics are just the colour of cars going passed Karl Hyde as he wrote them.
I laughed so hard at the missed cars! Also, Sarah, are the Americans in the audience influencing you? Number of seconds stated as "zero seven" rather than "naught seven"??
It would be fun to do a challenge involving other random runners- pass and get passed by x# of other runners who are strangers, maybe 1 each of ppl who are older and younger? Or something random like get passed by a runner with a dog
The kids love playing the rainbow car game when we're driving - Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. But we allow all types of vehicles. There are debates about whether they have to be in order and whether some maroon cars count as purple
Not done a running scavenger hunt but we do play spot the yellow car on journeys and the littlest claims there are no yellow cars so on Andy's train of thought. Now we call them out each time and there are actually loads but mostly spotted on motorways which I wouldn't suggest running on 😅 I'd suggest the next one should be a three wheeled car but only because I'm mean and want to see Andy do an accidental ultra 😂
Next challenge: - Sprint half a mile - Immediately after, ask a stranger (by then you should be out of breath) on the street to name a place in the city which will be you`re objectiv. It could be a landmark, store, building etc. - After you have been given a location to run to, run to the nearest shop and buy the person a lollipop. (You can buy it beforhand) - Hand over the lollipop and run to the location - Lowest time to the location WINS - Winner gets glory and fame - loser gets his shoes washed by the winner (Rule: You cant ask for a place that is close. From the point you meet the person, within an 8 mile radius) Cheers--
How about: keep running until you see another member of the challenge. A couple of presenters start at the same time in different places in london and have to keep running until they meet another presenter
If Sarah didnt miss the first yellow car she would have ran less 😂 but idk to me that car colour looked more gold, so idk if I would have accepted that one. Rick on the other hand could have won if only he looked on that side street 🎉 congrats all!
Funny coincidence. Not kidding we play said "yellow(!) car/lorry" game whenever my little niece gets bored on the Autobahn. Why yellow? We have DHL so chances are quite high to spot a yellow car or lorry here in Germany. My guess, just started watching, Andy with his busy main road approach wins. I would've run to a DHL station (is DHL in the UK?)
I would literally have to step out my front door . . . I have a yellow car! lol P.s. The edit and annotations on this video are top notch as always. Love it
The missed cars are both painful and hilarious
Should have got a penalty for missing the yellow cars 😂
That was the best part of the video!
The editing + pop up texts won this video. Well done editors! 😂😂
Agreed, big kudos to the editor(s) on this one. Absolutely hilarious.
Not Sarah missing the yellow car in the background but getting it on camera 😂
EXACTLY 😂
While bigging up her observational skills as well! 🤣
The absolute best would be if she had a flip screen on the camera she looked at, so she could have seen the car in the screen she talked to.
Wish we got a reaction video of when they saw those yellows they missed them 😅
6:38 who else stopped to read the "legal stuff"? it's amazing! lots of easter eggs, basically the best part of the video
The typos were dreadful. One star.
Editors are savage today and I love it! Isn't that another yellow car for Sarah at 5:23 behind the blue one?
Spotted that. I think that is a green mini with a yellow roof - sort of like a Union flag pattern
YES! 😂
Spotted that one as well!
I was literally about to type this, but knew someone would get there first!
Yes I spotted it too!!
Absolutely GUTTED we didn't get to see Sarah and Rick's faces when they were shown the yellow cars they ran past 😭 please add a big reveal for the winner at the end with the group together in future challenges, it really makes the videos!
ok we'll see what we can do!
The editing on this video was just superb! Also huge shoutout to whoever drafted the legal notice. Couldn't help but to read it in its entirety. Made my day :)
Great video and love this challenge idea! Also, Jess talking on a run always makes me think of a toddler that had a little too much sugar for lunch 😂
Hahaha we love that comparison
Surely it should have been on time and not distance. 😂
Agreed
That would have given Jess and Andy a big advantage as they’re fast runners!
@@DanF-iq4mv Either way it’s unfair🤷🏼♂️
You should do a scavenger hunt, eg a red bus, a women with a push chair, a man with a pushchair, an emergency services vehicle, either all of them randomly or in a specific order 😅
We did one once before but should we do another one??
@@runningchannelyeah let’s get another one! But maybe the runners have to shuffle the items on a randomiser or something so they have to find the same items but in their own unique order or something
It could be like filling a bingo card where the runners have to spot certain things to get four in a row!
Go by different landmarks. Or checkpoints, like a bike messenger race.
We need a follow up reaction video showing Rick and Sarah's reactions to missing the yellow cars.
As a blind person, My first thought was keep running until you see a guide dog or a long white cane. Keep it up guys love the channel. Would ye ever do a showcase to the general public of how people with visual impairments use teathers and other equipment to go running safely?
That is definitely something we would love to know more about! What equipment do you use?
Hats off to the editors! The missed cars and the full disclaimer text were amazing 🤣
I would have happily accepted this challenge, as I don't even have to step outside the office to see a yellow car. It's parked outside virtually everyday and another one is about 1.5km away.
Would have been an easy win !!!
I see we've got the whole podcast team in on a challenge 😊 was a good laugh seeing Sarah and Rick both miss a yellow car
Hahaha yes Andy seems to be the most observant 👀
That was funny. Sarah always wins.
Almost banged on my seat when Sarah and Rick missed those yellow cars...ugggh. 😂😂😂
hahaha
I never comment on a TH-cam video. This was so hilarious I had to! 😂 well done RC editors 🎉 this was brilliant!
Thanks so much Mandy! So glad you enjoyed it!!
😂Good job everyone! Probably let Andy enjoy some fields next one, so maybe keep running until you see sheep or prairie dog or something.
Next challenge: car with a sign that has your initials in the right order… Sarah: SH Andy: AB etc
The editing in this was brilliant -- very funny, the drama was high, loved it!
Such a funny challenge 😂 Rick and Sarah both missing yellow cars, especially with Sarah bigging up her observational skills 🤣 And the growing annoyance and frustration about not being able to find a yellow car 🤣
Absolutely hysterical. Great job team, runners AND editers!! 😂😂
The editors made this the best running video I’ve seen in MONTHS!
lol this is so funny! and so well produced, well done!
Loved this one 😃
This is so fun! We used to play the yellow car game on our way to school! We'd bike to school in a group of friends, and the first one to spot a yellow car and call it, won :-)

Love to see ye back doing challenges. Need ye to do more of them 😀
Great challenge, super props to the editors for how well this was done. Great job!
Wow😂 this was hilarious. We'll done Sarah Lets Go. Undisputed TRC champion 🎉🎉
Hahaha she needs to be taken down!
Fun challenge, and great editing!!! What a great team of professionals TRC has!
Thank you so much!

I totally enjoyed this. Well done on a great video
As a runner and yellow car owner, I enjoyed this video 😂
I am offering up 2 challenges.
A) Marathon: Point to Pinnacle. Hobart. Tasmania.
B)
2 hour pub run.
Scull 1 beer every 12 minutes.
Collect beer coasters at each pub.
love these!
I literally haven't stopped seeing yellow cars since the video😂😅
hahaha we've brought them out of hiding!
I love these challenges 🤩 Awesome video!
Just run to the Ferrari dealership. All love from Australia 🇦🇺
Wish you'd filmed Rick and Sarah's reactions to the missed cars! Especially Rick as he might have won!!
Ah I missed your challenges. The lunacy comes out in full drove 😄
What a hilarious challenge.
I like this series. Run until you an inflatable object, run until you see someone in an England shirt, run until you see someone in a costume, run until you see a black and white dog.

Keep running until you see eachother challenge! Like hide and seek but constantly on the move.
Oh this sounds like great fun!!
lol, looks like Sarah missed another one in the carpark at 5:24.
Oh Sarah...that was a "doh" moment early on especially given talking up her observation skills 🙈😂😂 great video TRC 🙌
Awesome Video, love this challenge. May have to try this with my running club 😂
So glad you enjoyed it!
So funny! Who paused to read the “legal” jargon?? 🙌 😂
What did you think? 😂
@runningchannel I am rushing off to paint my car yellow as I patiently wait response via owl from the wicked witch of the west.
Loved this challenge!
Three things:
1) Yellow cars are not dying out in Scotland - loads in Glasgow! I’d have found one inside two minutes.
2) the car passing Sarah was GOLD, not yellow!
3) Rick definitely wins the award for best shade of yellow. Some of the others are a bit dodgy 😂
I thought missing the cars was hilarious. I literally said, "Oh, no Sarah!" 😂
Congratulations on the win!
hahaha
Give poor Andy a chance. Perhaps some sort of field related challenge next? 😂
Oh my god, I'd really like correspondence via owl in Parseltongue! Thank you editors for the legal stuff!
This is great! Well done everyone 👍
That legal disclaimer was hilarious!
Right then - where's my "eggs, bacon, paint, tissue boxes, washing up liquid, oranges, bananas, lemons, post-it notes, sponges, daffodils, butter, sunflowers, the sun, yellow submarine, goldfinches, parrots, pumpkins, cake, highlighters" crew?! 🤪
😂😂😂 this is one of the funniest challenge and video😂😂

Sarah missed another yellow car in the parking lot across the street at 5:24.
hahaha the missed cars were so good
oh I wanted to this in NYC, but then... yellow cabs everywhere!
Challenge with Rick, yaaay! Fun video 🤩
The four of you should challenge the Wiggles. You already have the wiggles shirts 😂
The missed cars 😂😂
I love this 😂 Sarah for the win of course 🎉🎉 But the two missed cars 😂😂 I wonder how far in to their runs that was.
Yoh should do thsi change next time in Birmingham. Every other car is yellow here. 😂
Lol, this was great.
How about run until you reach the end of the rainbow 😂
0:01 I’ve only just clicked on the video, but if one of Andy’s items isn’t a field then I will be bitterly disappointed.
No wonder Andy was so angry - he ran twice as far as everyone else!😂 I hope Jess found a nice dark room to recover in (I'm still not quite convinced that her car was yellow. Kinda borderline green...🤔)
I love the challenges
Andy listing car colours reminds me of the Underworld track : Juanita where some of the lyrics are just the colour of cars going passed Karl Hyde as he wrote them.

Typo's like repsonses and corrispondance in the "legal bits", make these video's worth it! :-)
😂😂😂 great challenge!!
I laughed so hard at the missed cars! Also, Sarah, are the Americans in the audience influencing you? Number of seconds stated as "zero seven" rather than "naught seven"??
Hey Sarah, I'll spray paint my car yellow but you'll have to do a long swim as well as a long run. Cheers from Whidbey Island, Washington.
I must be in a fairly unique situation then that I can see two yellow cars from my kitchen window across the street!
A classic VW Beatle. Now, they've not been made for a while, so it may take a few days of running, but it'll be worth it.
Great idea!
There was a yellow car in the car park where Sarah ran past also! At 5.24! At least a yellow car roof ;-)
Next challenge should be keep running till you see a field, Andy might win.
great and funny edits!

Spotto!!
Watching this laughing because I have a yellow car 😂 I literally have to walk out my front door challenge over 🤣
CHEATING!! 😂
Somehow this video makes me feeling a bit happier about owing an orange car 😅
hahaha go colourful cars!!

I think the next one should be running round London solving riddles. Like the answer to the riddle will be reference to a location or street
Sarah always wins these... :-)
I watched this video the other day. Today I went out for a 5 mile run. As I stopped my watch on 5 miles I looked up and there was a yellow car.
I would literally have to step out my front door . . . I have a yellow car! lol
P.s. The edit and annotations on this video are top notch as always. Love it
Hahaha where were you last week?!
