We are alive - demo for ZX Spectrum 128.
Made by: Gemba boys (busy cvm factor6 mborik mike noby omega tornado ub880d z00m)
First presented 16.03.2013 on Forever 14 in ZX Spectrum demo compo (1st place).
Note: This demo contains effect timing and multicolors adapted for original ZX Spektrum 128/+2 and Pentagon. Demo does NOT work correctly on other machines like +2A/+3, Pentevo, ZX Evo.

This has instantly become my favorite Speccy demo of all time! Brilliant music, masterful coding, and entertaining visuals. Also, must say I love that little inchworm on the mushroom. Shows that even a few monochrome pixels can be a great effect all by itself.

Je pravda, ze pri programovani v asembleri treba toho napisat X-krat viac nez vo vyssich jazykoch, avsak zase na druhej strane program sa potom vykona X-krat rychlejsie. A to stoji za to :)
Nejake tutorialiky mam tu, mozes pozriet:

Really all effects ? Rotazoom+plasma with palette changing, truecolor frame about 3D vect, tunnel and glass shpere in mutlicolor ? Anyway, I think better old known effects in new flavour, than pure animations. Demo should be view of computer power, not a slideshow.
Yes you are right release of the demo delays - it is due to russian clones of speccy with incompatible timing. First version of the demo is timed for original Speccy 128 / +2 only, we want to prepare version timed for Pentagon too.

Just amazes me this stuff! What's the deal with the sound though - must be a soundchip mod or something? No way can the Speccy make those noises.

Speccy 128s have an AY sound chip unlike the 48k speccy's.
