    Spot on man, love the message, every shooter and every problem is different, even if they look the same.

    Well done just retuned my broad heads. Still a tic off after changing rest. Should have waited until after season to swap hamskea.

    Garrett Sir;
    What tips are on your arrows? Look like sleeves, super cool. I shoot Easton Axis 5mm and I'm butted right up against my carbon. Seems weak without support.
    Thank you for a great vid!

      Thanks man! So these are called footers. It’s a aluminum arrow cut to act as a sleeve to protect the end of the arrow and the insert.
      These are from elk River archery. There’s a few other options on the market as well, like the iron will impact collars.

      @@PMOUTDOORS24 Thanks so much Garrett Sir. Went and grabbed a plumbers mini cut off tool and also bought a Easton aluminum 1918, fits beautiful over my Axis 5mm. My lighted necks are 24 grains and my factory are 10 grains, so I will cut my footers to weigh 14 grains my FOC doesn't change.
      Thanks so much again, God Speed to you and yours over the Holidays Sir.

    I've found broadheads usually shoot great at 20 yards it's when you start moving back to 30 40 50 that it magnifys dramatically and that's where people make the mistake they shoot 20 and think all is good.

      100%
      I’ve seen 40 yards really expose some issues where at 20 it was “good”

    Would lining up the fletchings and broadhead help with accuracy?

      No, but nock indexing using the vanes as a measurement of rotation is good to do.

    Got me fired up, tuned my 7 bare shafts with only the slightest rest move. The main problem was I had changed releases couple months ago because of shoulder problems (thumb bar type release is a lot easier in worn rotator cuff than index) I can still shoot 50 times a day at 69 lbs with thumb bar but only 35 with the index. I know people say reduce poundage but sights and tape are on at 278fps /500 grain so I'm not redoing it this late in the game. Elk waiting.
