I notice a lot of bakers/pastry chefs spray or squirt simple syrup between the layers of cake before they put on the buttercream and I noticed that you don't. Is there any reason for that or just a personal preference??
+Zoes Fancy Cakes Thank you for answering, I am not very technical with cameras but if the camera is above you then it needs to be behind where you are sitting rather than in front, as in front gives a disorienting allusion on the work board while looking down, where's as if behind it doesn't. I'm sorry I'm not good at explaining but I love watching your videos but find the new angle hard to watch for very long without feeling sick. Keep up your fabulous work your models are just fantastic. My little girl watches with me and she's fascinated. Xxxxx
+Laura Shone I am happy to change the angle but I am not sure where to put it, if it goes from the angle you suggested, I am completely in the way and nothing would get seen at all, if that makes sense?

At the moment it kind of looks slightly tunnel visioned but backwards so it's disorienting. Xxx I really don't mean to sound like I'm picking I just really enjoy watching your videos xxx

Wow, I'm in awe of your modelling, she is absolutely beautiful. You make it look so easy but it's not, you are extremely skilled. I always struggle to get a nice shape to the face, particularly the mouth and chin area. I am finding it difficult to get a good, fine paint brush and yours looks fab - can I ask what size/make it is please? Love your videos, thanks for sharing, Debs x
Thank you for the lovely comment. The size of the paint brush? erm, I have quite a few but I think the smallest is usually a 00, I don't use the smallest ones too often though as they are super fine
