A multi-million dollar log cabin tucked away on how many acres of land? A mans outward appearance or his carnal possessions or the lack thereof are the wrong litmus test to determine his spirituality. Billy Graham preached a works salvation religion, a false gospel. A God who wants to save but is unable to unless you let Him, i.e: do faith, start 'trusting' Him and salvation is yours to have. Sad.
Righteousness becomes because of your faith not Christ faith. Christ was not enough to save you alone, He needed your help. Christ faith is not enough, He needs you to give yourself to Him, as if He doesn't take what is His and do with it as He pleases. Either God saves a man with no contribution from the man, as a divine gift of grace, or you've mixed works into it, thus a false gospel. Graham's message was nothing more than a merchandisers attempt to sell, Christ during the cultural era he was providentially placed. Untold lives listened to this man declare a Christ not found in scriptures. I fear for him.

Suppose you see a brother or sister who needs food and clothing, and you say, "Well, good bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat well-but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?" When someone claims to have faith. What he or she may have is intellectual assent- agreement with a set of Christian teachings - and as such it would be incomplete faith. True faith transforms our conduct as well as our thoughts. If our life remains unchanged, we don't truly believe the truths we claim to believe. Simple- faith without works is dead.

When I was young my grandmother would never miss a Billy Graham program on TV. And I can remember the whole family sitting very quietly and listening very intently to every word reverend Graham spoke. We didn't dare interrupt while Billy was speaking. Not that we would get in trouble for doing so, but because his message was so very important to all of us. Especially my grandmother. God rest her tender soul. Billy Graham spoke boldly of Jesus. Unafraid and unashamed. And my how the people listened. Thousands of them. Filling sports stadiums to the bursting point. I miss those days. And I miss my beloved grandmother too. I can still hear her say in that small sweet voice of hers. It's time to be quite now. Billy Graham is about to come on. Praise God for Billy Graham and my grandmother.

I have the same memories of the Billy Graham television special programs. My grandfather was a Minister, so I was blessed to be raised in the faith. 🙏🏻
That’s wonderful. My grandmother was a big influence on me, and whenever I hear certain hymns I tear up and think of her.

As a Catholic I remember watching Billy Graham on TV in the 1970s and being inspired to improve my relationship with Christ. I doubt there is anyone in my lifetime who has done more to spread the "good news" than Rev. Graham.

@@markmcgowan5656 Billy Graham made a lot of money off of his books that he wrote. You don’t think the man of the Bible were rich? Every man in the old testament was rich. I do think God allows people to have money. You have to be careful what you’re doing with that money. I have no idea what Billy Graham did behind the scenes for the 50 or so years he was a pastor. But for him to have $25 million when he died. In 50 years of being an evangelist that would be $500,000 a year Averaging. And a lot of that money could be from investments over the years that he was unable to donate where he wanted due to his health in later years. All I’m gonna say is this that man saved a lot of souls and I am not going to be the one to cast the first stone or any stone. And shame on you for giving out names of other people full of condemnation for God’s men. Shame on you. Shame shame shame on you. I was so blest and privileged to go to Billy’s rally in the late 50’s when I was a teenager. He was in the Coliseum in Las Angeles. Magnificent stadium holding 100,000 for a football game. Since there was no game that night the field was completely filled with chairs. I’m guessing between 10,000 and 20,000 on the field. When Billy gave the invitation and the choir started to sing “Just As I Am” thousands of people streamed down from all over that stadium my heart was melted and the tears rolled down my cheeks! In 2022 I’m 79 yet even today if someone mentions the coliseum or I hear the voice of Billy Graham I go back to that fabulous

My grandfather was at Billy's London Wembley stadium crusade. He was one of Billy Graham's first converts in London,he got up on that stage and told the 75,000 people in attendance his problems. The late great Billy Graham's said take courage Son. He was very religious after that and it's went down through the family generation's thanks to Billy Graham.

Be blessed Art, your testimony touched my heart and soul , I never got to be in his presence but his presching saved my life even at 6 years I knew in the 60s to hush to hear Rev Graham speak. My grandma just sat and listened as if her life depended on it, it did. But at six we were shielded from bad things. But my sweet family just sat immobile to listen. You Art have brought back memories of my youth,of my past adult hood, and now senior hood, how we were gifted one of the greatest gifts God ever poured on Earth Mr.Billy Graham, Rev,Billy Graham, and the fun loving ,jokster billy.Thank You Lord

He sounds very different. This is the first time i heard him not preaching and he sounds and speaks really a man with full of integrity and wisdom.
I felt the pull of the Holy Spirit st a crusade in Greenville SC at the age of 7. I immediately left my parents & went down to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior & thank GOD I was saved by Grace & washed IN the blood of the SINLESS SPOTLESS LAMB OF GOD. Hallelujah to THE LAMB OF GOD. KING JESUS, name above all names, MY LORD & MASTER

I had the honor and privilege to meet Paul Harvey. He was extraordinary man. We could sure use his wisdom today.

This more deeply moving than I expected. I feel privileged to have grown up when Paul Harvey was still on the radio each day and Billy Graham was still alive and preaching. I spent a summer nearby at a Christian camp as a counselor in Old Fort, NC, near Montreat. I was called into ministry at UNC Charlotte while in college. I never realized that Rev. Graham faced so many of the same human challenges the rest of us face in life. I only wish God would raise up another man of God like him to preach to America once more. May God bless his memory and his organizations ongoing ministry.

@@davids1677 What amazes me about Amir is that he is born and raised in Israel, one of God's chosen people, is a Christian and has a refreshing take on the Bible from a Jewish standpoint. Billy Graham is so clear in his evangelizing, I would listen to him every Saturday on the radio, as a new Christian, and drank in God's word as preached through him.

I never will forget, I was working in 2018 in Lake Charles Louisiana and we had to be up early to get into the plant, so I pulled out of the hotel parking lot about 4:45 in the morning. right then as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, there was a big billboard sign that lit up the street and it had the capability to change. As soon as I noticed the light from pulling out of the parking lot I looked up and the sign changed to a picture of Billy Graham. It simply read..."Gone Home"
This country is in the shape it is in because we try to maintain a secular morality. One day this is good, the next day its bad. One day this is bad, the next day it's good. We cant have a morality that changes with the times because it is not grounded in nothing. America needs to be grounded in God's word, and men like this were the very staple that reminded this country upon the freedoms and foundations that it was founded. That...we are losing.
You are very right. There is no such thing as secular morality. It is an oxymoron in fact. As you correctly noted, such a "morality" changes with whatever man decides is acceptable. But God's Word never changes. It is the same yesterday, today and forever. And God's Word is the only moral guide that can bring peace, true and lasting peace, even in the mist of pain or suffering, which we are told in the Bible, we will have to endure, on earth. But this place is just temporary...our eternal home is with God's son Jesus in heaven, that is for the person who repents of his sin, and by faith places his faith in Jesus Christ and receives the gift of salvation. What a glorious gift!

I grew up watching Dr Grahams crusades on tv with my Grandparents; I never knew Dr Graham had a home in Montreat, NC, but I always felt and knew in my heart there was something very special about Montreat every time I passed through it. Now I know why. And in my opinion, Dr. Rev. Billy Graham was the greatest evangelist to bless our era.
This man is true legend. Of the word of God.

My mother grew up near New York City, and when she was a young teenager she went to one of his crusades in New York. I don't know how it all worked out, but somehow she ended up singing in the choir. I think she was 15. We used to hear Paul Harvey on the radio, but not regularly I don't think. I never knew about this interview. So thank you for uploading it.

Yes he loved and prayed for each and every donation given to him. So he too could live in the lap of luxury and hob knob with those evil people he warned you about, He truly prayed on the donations of his peers and in the name of god and Jesus Christ himself... Nothing has changed.

I’m 35 and my Dad grew up on Billy Graham and whenever his name comes up my Dad speaks about him with great reverence. That has brought me to learn more about Billy Graham, I love listening to his sermons nearly weekly. I am a sinner but I have a deep yearning to learn and hear profound teachings, Billy Graham is one of my favorite pastors easily.
I think the couple of generations that got to grow up listening to Rev. Graham were very fortunate to have such a truly honest and devout teacher of the word.
Sorry to Say Brother but One and only The Holy Jesus Christ should be our Hero...No Man on the Earth can be our Ideal but Jesus is not any apostles said to look at us but only Jesus whom you keep in front of eyes to Run your Holy Race...I am not saying to unfollow Ps. The forerunner for Baha’u’llah was the Bab (The Gate) who was executed by the Persian government and Muslim clerics in 1860; he was 31 years of age.
The promised one of all ages appeared 176 years ago, and still humanity waiting for his return.
Just search it, “Seek and ye shall find” (The Baha'i' Faith) you will be amazed what humanity has missed, the greatest salvation from God.
As Baha’u’llah (The glory of God) teaches, “The character of man must change”.
In order for the world to change, humanity must become the servants of God, and all are but his servants.
Are we waiting for the manifestation of our superstitions or humanity really waiting for the manifestation of God?

When he said he would be satisfied when he see Jesus he meant that. He said when people say Billy Graham is dead he is not dead but he is only beginning to live. I often write in the present tense when I speak of people that has pass on because to say he was is not enough he is a good servant a humble servant a true servant and of God. His ministry is with us and in us. Thank you Mr. Graham. You never disappointed.

Briton Darius he was before his time and was one of if not the first evangelist to refuse to preach to segregated crowds. I know of him on multiple occasions refusing to start his sermon until the blacks were allowed to come down and be a part of the whole crowd not separated or segregated. To me you can’t call yourself a true man of God and judge people by color or race. It’s anti-God in my opinion to be racially prejudice. Racism is truly evil in my opinion
