If he dies his conscious dies with him. The reality remains same. In other words if he dies his conscious of his kids dies but not to real kids.
I think Vipin is missing a simple point. Objective Reality is what exists, despite no body observing it. We can not see UV or X Ray. Neither did we know about them. But they existed all the same. Doing what they do. If you close your eyes and enter a room. One will only collide with the walls where the walls are. No where else. So, that does entail the existence of something in that place, that activated our sense of touch. That something is defined as Objective reality. No matter how an animal perceives the world. They will agree that the wall exists. They may call it a different name and they may perceive it differently. But they will agree on the existence of the wall. Science is the study of this Objective Reality. And it succeeds in doing so, that is the reason it works. Vipin is advocating for Berkley's Idealism. Which is an extremely regressive idea. Especially when we can take photographs of things when no one is watching. And our detectors measuring things when no one is seeing, and things which can never be seen by us.

Consciousness is still a hard problem to solve. Some believe that we are what we experience which is the result of brain activity, but we also see that microprocessor also has complex circuit and data processing capability but it doesn't give computer subjective experience. It is difficult to prove experiencer of subjective experience which don't have physical basis.
So dinausoura did not exists at all...since we humans were not even there...😂 how can outisde objevt cease to exist if our consciousness ceases to recognise it...if this is true what happens at night...does my home cease to exists because all family members are sleeping and there ia no consciousness of it?
We don't really know, cause you cannot really prove it. If something is not observed, then no one can really know what happens with it. If we try to know, we are observing it, which means it is back to orignal state.
So if you do not observe something it does not cease to exist but we simply cannot state what happens with it.
@@No-I-dont-want-that The logic that it cannot be proved if not observed does not apply here since we all know dinosaurs ( and many other species) did exist even before humans existed. The home does not cease to exist at night since if it did cease to exist, we would be soaked in water if it was raining at the time.
Similarly, now we know diseases like polio, cold etc. are caused by microbes, but before invention on the microscope, we did not. These microbes were not in consiousness of any human, so we should have been perfectly healthy, which is obviously not the case.
Objects are outside, we only become conscious of it through are senses. Objects are not dependent on consciousness.

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" is a philosophical thought experiment that raises questions regarding observation and perception. It is an age old question on the subject of The Hard Problem of Consciousness . Vimoh you will benefit from reading more on Panpsychism and consciousness studies.

My only contention is that you sometimes assume our intelligence is at par with yours, or maybe you just get frustrated and go with the flow when dealing with callers beating around the bush and wasting your time. I do understand that the conversation would have been longer and other callers worth their salt would have unjustly missed their turn, had you let him finish his point just for the sake of it and then destroyed him in your usual brutal manner. All said, I still wanted to hear his point of view; this video would have been more enlightening.

The guy is confused about reality and "knowledge". I think vimoh's view is "The reality" and "the knowledge about reality" are not as much dependent as the caller thinks , the knowledge may depend upon reality but the reality itself is independent of the "knowledge" ... Correct me if I am wrong .

So we can safely say Reality is subjective in the absolute sense.. Now coming to the point whether an object really exists or not objectively independent of a conscious observer is a deep philosophical question . In the quantum world, a quantum particle simultaneously exists in different states in the probability state, and when we try to observe that particle, the wave function collapses to a single state . So before observing we don't know how that particle physically existed in space-time
In the same way in the classical world Conscious observers give meaning to the objects by Observing. Now don't make a strawmen fallacy by misunderstanding this idea that "when I or You stop observing something, it ceases to exist ". No😅 It's not that much easy dear.
It's not about individual conscious observers rather collective conscious observers from humans to animals to insects to every living being which is conscious.
Now , yes we can say if collective conscious observers cease to exist, the observed reality also ceases to exist.
