Middlesbrough v Norwich City 1988-89 ROSARIO MOWBRAY FLECK GOAL

Middlesbroughs first home game of the 1988-89 season and a welcome return for First Division football at Ayresome Park. Norwich City are the visitors in an eventful game. Norwich take the lead through Robert Rosario and Middlesbrough equalise with Tony Mowbray scoring his and Boros first goal of the season with a spectacular strike from 25 yards. Norwich then re-take the lead with a goal from Robert Fleck and increase it further through a bizarre own goal from Boros only new signing of the summer Mark Brennan. Boro sub Mark Burke pulls a goal back to make it 3-2 but Norwich hold on for the win and a good start to what would prove to be a very successful season for them.
Good old Gerald Sinstadt (aged 85 at time of uploading) is on commentary duty.
