Brand new goat owner here and I love my goats! Two of my girls had never been handled and were wild as March hares now the one that was the wildest and therefore was named squirrel is now the sweetest little goat who loves attention. They have been so much fun but also a little nerve racking one of the does was pregnant and just had her babies a week ago and I worried about all of the things that could go wrong but the babies are now a week old and healthy happy little goof balls.
Holly S How soooooo very exciting for you!!! And your goats sound like my Olivia. She was WILD and now she’s my favorite and the sweetest and best producing doe 😊 Love that the same thing happened to yours!!
Love my Nubians! I like how I started with a mother and her two daughters. The saying mother like daughter does not apply to these ladies! All three are very different. I just got a buck and so excited to see the kids they will produce. Thank you for your videos! Very informative and fun to watch 😊
Helloooo Delci! Loved this video as always! We started with chickens and then were gifted with 4 Nubian wethers. Sooo sweet. Recently we added a young Kiko buck who will become our herd sire and later this week will be adding 3 Kiko does. We’ve got Muscovy ducks in the brooder along with a few African geese. Hopefully soon we will add Guineas as well as KuneKune pigs. Coming together slowly but surely. Sooo happy to have your awesome videos to boost our learning curve. 😊 Have a great day Delci!
This was such a cute video! I love all your videos and am so thankful for the information you share. I'm sort of getting back into goats- had some years ago but only really used them for weed control. This time around my goal is to have them for milk as well. So far I have 4 Nubian bottle babies! They are such precious animals!
I'm getting a baby nigerian dwarf goat for Christmas (my 1st goat). We already have a pot belly pig and chickens. I was hoping the goat would be a good companion for the pig but should I still get 2 goats or will 1 be happy with a pig as a companion?
I would encourage you to get another goat to be a companion to your goat. They really are a herd animal. And the pig and goats can inhabit the same area, it’s might not be the same where they can lay down together and snuggle and really spend the day together in the pasture side by side. Goats are best in twos ☺️
I am like you, I LOVE the Nubian ears. We have had so much fun with the triplets our girl had this year. The problem with full size Nubians is the kids get way too big and heavy to be bouncing on you long before they stop wanting to bounce on you 🤣 I may have to look into breeding mini Nubians!
Ah! So fun about the triplets! One of my does just had twins and I wasn’t there to welcome them into the world like I usually do. And I’m so sad to have missed it! I’m on a business trip this week and can’t wait to get back to see them! I love my mini Nubians ♥️
I bought the doe as a dairy goat and her specifically because she had only ever had singles before. I wanted her to raise the kid but allow us to have some milk. As it turned out she had triplets this time and not wanting to bottle raise them, it means we dont have any milk for ourselves 🤣 They provide is with so much entertainment and happiness I don't mind waiting before we can take any milk for ourselves.
Outdoors with the Morgan's sent me. Been wanting to learn about goats. Can't wait to learn.
Yay! I'm so glad they sent you over!
Glad I saw this on Outdoor with the Morgans. Fun. Good luck.
I'm glad you did too! Thanks for stopping by!
I think I have raised everything except ostrich, but goats have won my heart as I go into my eighties!!!
I’m so excited! We are going to get goats soon!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 love your videos! 😊
Thank you so much. I am from Alaska.
I just bought nine acres in Alberta. So looking forward to getting goats (etc.!).
Loving your informative videos! We are in Australia and have 2 Nigerian dwarf goat does. They are a wonderful addition to our family

Oh! That’s funny! She’s an overachiever! Lol
I agree! It’s worth the wait!
Noooooooo! Like I need more reasons to want goats lol ;)
Barking Tree Chronicles lol
Better get you some goats quick!! 😆
What if we don't have a farm
Taking care of 2 goats is hard enough.
*I already have 20 pets. Btw I carry a bat around when feeding our goats.*
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞
2 goats, 10 goats...what’s the difference?? 😆😂
Lol...no bats here. We’re batty enough as it is to add real bats to the mix. 🦇 😜
What happened to the audio of this? I cannot hear any talking...
Wen i was a baby goats save my life because I was a legend to cows milk and all I could eat was goat milk
what should I do if I can't get 2 goats.
Hey outdoor with the Morgans turn me onto your TH-cam channel all of the goats will be keep watching me
I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by and say hello to me and my goats! ☺️ I hope the last month has been a great month for you!
