    You said it best at the end - using the color grading tool when you really want to fine tune a TINT as a finishing touch on the photo. I've been asking why is this even necessary or even if it gives us anything we didn't already have - or even as to why I should bother in the first place when I already feel that I control 99% of the final result of the photo based on the controls we've had for ages now. Thanks for the definitive answer!

    My favourite underrated TH-cam channel by far. You clearly put in effort for each video (even though you make it look effortless) which just exponentially affects how much I enjoy watching. And this is one of the few channels that isn't fluff; real knowledge is shared here, clearly and pleasantly. Love it! Thanks a lot ☺️

    Excellent and thorough tutorial especially with the keyboard shortcuts along with the wheel adjustments. Will definitely be playing with the tint adjustments in portrait and landscape photographs.

    Wow super solid!!! I loveeee playing with colors, and it seems like getting more in depth results will be easier now - especially with all your tips!
    The sand dune shot looked great... must’ve have taken you forever to walk out that far in the middle of nowhere!

      Thanks Darby! I think you're going to LOVE the lightroom color grading feature. :) And haha.. yeah, for sand dune shoots I tend to travel out pretty far in search of the "perfect dune" - It's so fun to explore, love the desert!

    Hi Chelsea! Excited to learn the new. Okie wheel. Could I ask you what Lightroom program are you using because mine is different. And I get frustrated when I can’t find things.
    Thanks for sharing all your info. Love your videos😍💕

    • @ChelseaNicole

      Hey Laurie!! Thanks for the love! 🤗💗 This tutorial was done in the new Lightroom Classic v10.0, so you probably just need to update in order to access the new features. Other than Split Toning being replaced with Color Grading, the new version operates pretty much the same so shouldn't throw off your workflow. 🙂 totally worth it!

      Thank you! I will make sure I have that one when I get home. But my layout looks different. And I thought I had the new one. The one in the cloud LOL😜

      @@lauriegreer6046 Ah okay, it's because you're using the mobile version! Lightroom CC doesn't have the color grading feature yet - it's only the desktop version for now. It should hopefully be getting it soon though!

      @@ChelseaNicole I saw last night your LRC logo on the video and I realized I am working from a different one. The one I'm working from is missing edit options. I think I'll switch over!! Thanks for your quick responses! This is why we need you!! xoxo

    Got your new free preset but it will not show up in my lightroom with the rest of my presets :( Got a cure for that? It shows up fine in photoshop where I mainly use my presets but once in a while I'll migrate to LR for fun.

      Hey Charles! Did you upgrade to Lightroom Classic 10.0 (Desktop)?

  • @tinkshawins
    @tinkshawins 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    did you have a problem where it kept crashing because it corrupted your presets?

    • @ChelseaNicole
      @ChelseaNicole  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm.. no, I'm I haven't had any trouble with the new update. Sounds like it could be a bug if it keeps crashing. 😕Have you reported it to Adobe? It's an awesome update so you'll definitely want to upgrade. I'd reach out to support to help debug it!
