- Wow @calypso668, this is a great and hard mod, I really had fun playing it and I do think this mod will be up there with other difficulty mods and I cannot wait for the modified DLC!
Feedback:
Overall, as I said, this is a great mod and I like that it felt like a combination of the Geo, Master Quest and Souped Up mods, although I do not know if you wanted your approach to be like that, nor am I sure if others will like it too. Some attacks are recognizable in your mod, for example the Werner Werman Second Phase was a combination of the Geo and Master Quest Werner Werman Phase 2 and the whole Wally fight had at least one thing of the three mods, feathers (Geo), keeping the egg and finger bullet attacks in Phase 2 (Master Quest) and moving up and down when doing the finger bullet attack (Souped Up), Ribby and Croak's fourth option on the slot machine (You are missing the parryable platform though but I guess it makes sense since the icon only shows the snake, tiger and bull) like Geo, Goopy's high jumps in Phase 1 like Master Quest, Grim's eyebeam replicating the one from Souped Up, etc.
Was the mod hard? Yes, very hard, lol, infact some bosses actually gave me a lot more trouble than I though, Grim for example the final Phase was insane and for Sally that Phase 2 is brutal, especially if she does a back to back rat attack, tbh however I like them because I felt like the Grim and Sally in your mod should have been the ones in Souped Up to begin with, their current versions don't feel like they're at a Souped Up level frankly.
... I might make a follow up video for Hilda, Djimmi, Kahl and Cala but maybe not... the Hilda and Cala in this mod I think could actually be comparable to the ones in Souped Up, maybe not harder but they're a close second IMO, or they actually are harder than Souped Up idk, call me crazy for making that statement, and I just suck at bullet hells in general so... yeah...
No, I will not attempt to S Rank the secret Phases, even the Root Pack Secret Phase is brutal.
I did attempt a low roller KD to see if I can S Rank low roller but I couldn't and died on Mangosteen, oh well, if you wanna see 1-7, click the link. (No, I will NEVER attempt a modified hitless low roller S Rank... EVER!)
• Calypso King Dice 1-7
I would suggest the following things:
- Anti Cheese for Potato Phase in Root Pack
- Anti Cheese for King Dice (King Dice himself when behind his hands and maybe Mr. Wheezy when behind him)
- Maybe an Anti Cheese for Phantom Express Phase 2? Not sure if you heard of the CupCore mod but that mod actually has an Anti Cheese in Phase 2 which prevents the player from being in those spots where the hands can't hit the player.
- Nerf Chalice more, although reducing the length of the invisibility is a good start (This nerf actually hurts her when even fighting Root Pack and Goopy lol), she's still too good, maybe reducing her dash length to the same length as her roll?
- You might need to fix Grim, sometimes in his final Phase he won't shoot the fireballs, idk how I triggered this but you might wanna fix him.
- You might not consider this one since it makes the mod easier but maybe make some kind of way to make Hopus' card suits attack easier for Chalice to parry? I'm suggesting this because the MDHR devs themselves made it easier for her to parry King Dice's card attack by adding parryable hearts floating above the heart cards but they didn't modify Hopus' card suits attack to make it easier for Chalice, you also made it very easy for her to parry in Grim's fight (Yes she would very easily be able to parry if we're using Souped Up Grim's eyebeam attack since the parryable ring is at the very front).
Questions:
- Is Djimmi bugged? Sometimes when he does his third chest attack he sometimes repeats the same attack he used in the second chest attack (For example if he does swords and then gems, there's a chance he will do gems again instead of cats), I'm not sure if this is intentional but you might wanna look back at Djimmi (Also I really like your creative Anti Cheese for his Cuppet Phase and maybe consider one for Sarcophagus too? It's hard to do the Anti Cheese anyways but I'd still suggest it)

-yes some bosses mix up ideas i got inspired with from other mods and no djimmi isnt bugged its normal if u get 2 treasure attacks in a row
-did u have any other bugs beside grim last phase freeze?
-also if the bosses u mentioned in the description are too hard or even unfair i might nerf them if a lot of people struggle with them as well

@calypsoAlt-c2k no problem Calypso! And thank you for making this awesome mod! Aside from Grim no other boss had a bug and froze. I don't think you need to nerf Hilda, Djimmi, Kahl or Cala considering that it's possible to S Rank their Souped Up variants and your version are comparable to the ones from Souped Up (Djimmi isn't modified on Souped Up but I wouldn't mind considering your mod or Gio's unnerfed Djimmi a Souped Up Djimmi), I just suck lol despite all the incredibly hard challenge runs I do on my channel (Believe it or not I did MQ Devil Lobber Only S Rank Hitless), you especially don't need to nerf Kahl since I was able to stay at three HP when the final Phase happened.
@@mattylusjwa i fixed the phases freeze (cagney and sally had them as well but i probably didnt notice)
and i also nerfed some bosses since honestly they were a bit of a mess and yeah i will make sure to implement some of ur other feedbacks as well eventually regarding the anti cheat stuffs
@calypsoAlt-c2k aight, btw I'd suggest having some way of being able to still download the older versions just incase others would want to try their unnerfed versions, just like what Gio did with Djimmi. (Also I was originally going to say an honest statement in the description on how your mod combines Geo, MQ and Souped Up which meant the mod could have lacked originality which meant others might not like despite me liking it but I wouldn't be sure how you would have felt).
@calypsoAlt-c2k you also might wanna tell the people WHAT changes you made to the bosses too...
@@mattylusjwa its overall just minor delays fixes and regarding originality i didnt have the intention 100% to combine the other mods ideas i just kinda had them and just went alone with it (if that even makes sense)
That was awseome! airplane bosses are no joke in this mod but its really enjoyable non the less
@liam-v5k indeed, Wally was the only one I was able to S Rank and some of them might actually be comparable to Souped Up, still fun to do and still possible for the S Rank though.

i believe this one is the version 1.0 bc theres 2 ones avaible for download ig the creator decided to provide 2 versions for 2 kinds of people which honestly a nice idea
@leonardoleo-3 you are correct, this is version 1.0 as I downloaded the mod before he made the second version, the creator did seem to provide the new version and the old version when I rechecked gamebanana.

@HiiragiTia I'm not gonna lie... this mod might actually be harder than Souped Up, some bosses at least. Grim and Sally on this mod are for sure harder than their Souped Up version, Root Pack and Goopy are harder on this mod than Souped Up aswell, Cagney is harder on this mod than Souped Up but not by much, however I think the Souped Up Beppi, Wally, Kahl and Devil are harder than Calypso Beppi, Wally, Kahl and Devil, Calypso Werner is harder than Souped Up Werner R1 but easier than Souped Up Werner R2. It's hard for me to compare Hilda and Cala since I didn't make all of their phases but I predict both will be at a similar level of difficulty but I'm not sure which is harder (Yes the Hilda and Cala on this mod is compareable to their Souped Up Versions) and Calypso Djimmi is harder than unnerfed Geo Djimmi. Overall like I said in the description this mod pretty much combines Geo, Master Quest and Souped Up so expect a similar experience if you plan to play this mod as you played all 3 before... so if you plan to play this mod, good luck... you're gonna be playing against a real Souped Up Grim and Sally, and honestly consider it a Souped Up Djimmi aswell as it looks like the WIP Souped Up Djimmi.
... I'll be looking forward to comparing Calypso's DLC and Morison's DLC together...

Are the secret phases working as well?
