      Spot on Lowkey! It's the same plastisol print without the hassle of burning screens, squeegee pressure, and registering colors... not to mention there's no messy inks, emulsion or clean up- Best of all, with just a 4-6 second press you can match, or beat the efficiency of manual, and even some automatic screen printing presses at a fraction of the start up cost.

      We LOVE the Hotronix Auto Open Clamshell too! Nothing beats it's capabilities for the cost. The auto open feature with just a standard electrical outlet coupled with the cast-in heating element makes it a reliable heat press that lasts!

    I’m having a hard time learning how to press screen prints compared to DTF help

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  ปีที่แล้ว

      They're a very similar process, however, screen printed transfers require higher heat and just a little bit more pressure than DTF prints to push the ink into the fibers of the t-shirt.
      For our Goof Proof screen printed transfers, apply at 365 degrees, 4-10 seconds (depending on how many colors of ink are in your design) and a medium to firm pressure. Peel the carrier hot, immediately when the press opens and you'll have a perfect application!

    Hi guys, I keep getting transfer sheet marks on the Sport Tek ST350 shirts. Is there anything I can do to remedy that?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Yoe, What transfer type are you using? Your pressure or heat may be too high for that garment.
      If you're just having issues with the transfer sheet edges, you can try tearing the carrier instead of cutting (to soften the edge), or try using a paper cover sheet larger than the size of the transfer.

    • @yoefernandez8303

      @@transferexpress I'll be testing with less pressure. What would be the lowest temperature and pressure I am able to use on your GoofProof or ElastiPrint transfers?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yoefernandez8303 For Goof Proof the lowest you can go is 325, for ElastiPrints, 290, but on these 100% polyester (and with a accurate heat press) you can get down to 275 in some cases.

    • @yoefernandez8303
      @yoefernandez8303 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@transferexpress
      I think they can handle the 325 of Goof Proof. My customer preferred the feel of Goof Proof over ElastiPrints. Would you recommend using any pillows underneath to avoid the platen marks?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yoefernandez8303 We do not recommend using pillows or covers with screen printed transfers as they soften the firm pressure required for proper application. It may apply fine, but will not wash ok. What color of garment art you pressing?
