I also felt the same way the first time I snuck into the Team Galatic HQ in Veilstone City like I'm a spy trying to take down a crime syndicate lol 😂 This was a great video, keep up the great work.
Something funny. Hoenn is the only region that has changed it's biggest city 3 TIMES! Other ones are usually at least semi-consistent. Like Sinnoh is always Jubilife, Goldenrod is always Johtos, Kanto is either Celadon or Saffron depending on game. In Hoenn? In the original Ruby and Sapphire, it's Slateport that's the biggest. In Emerald, it's Lilycove that's the biggest. In ORAS, it's Mauville that's the biggest.
@@andrei4617Lilycove grew in Emerald with all the Contest Halls being amalgamated and a couple extra NPCs, while Slateport shrunk as it lost the Contest Hall there. And in ORAS they decided to make Mauville into the new Lumiose because it's in the middle

Mr. Briney just needed Team Magma out of the way so he wouldn't lose control of the waters of Hoenn. Imagine what he would have done if Aqua had flooded the world. Maybe that was his plan all along...
Small thing you forgot to mention is that after you get Surf, mr. Briney relocate to the building where they are making the ship, just another small story detail thats easy to miss if you don't go look for him
If you can get the e-reader you can print dotcodes like the Eon Ticket to use with it using a normal inkjet printer. Or with an Ezflash or similar you can put an e-reader rom and a save file with the Eon Ticket already scanned in.
Seeing that the SS Tidal does go through the routes to the east of Slateport because of this, it makes you wonder *how* it gets through Pacifidlog Town to get to Lilycove...
I remember when i first arrived in Lilycove i would always check out the SS Tidal to see if i could finally board it and when it said it was'nt ready i would still check it out whenever i did something important

It’s a cool moment that almost seems like it should’ve been part of the base game. His knowledge of the island is also referenced in the Pokémon Adventures manga.

It actually makes no sense in continuity that the ship takes this route through the currents. The harbor in lilycove is to the south of the city, which would take you through the physical barriers of the ocean if you're coming from the surfing area to the east, and if the ship could pass through barries, it would take the shorter route by going north from slateport instead of east. This whole cutscene breaks the continuity of Hoenn.
5:20 wait I thought you could glitch yourself the three tickets and the old sea map? I Know you can't do the same with the berries because you do need to scan those in the game what for the items to even exist as a program but for the four key items I thought they were already in the game you and you can glitch them with a zero HP glitch?
If you want to save time and money with reviving old events, emulate it. The GBA, original trio of Hoenn games and original events are all long out of active circulation.

Latios is my favorite Legendary, and I was so upset that I couldn't get my hands on an e-reader or an Eon Ticket. I tried so hard.
Fortunately, getting one in ORAS is easy thanks to the StreetPass. I got my Eon Ticket that way.
