As much as I love the Jurassic franchise I blame it for misinterpretating triceratops as just a cattle-like animal. And sure, it could've been only that irl, but an herbivore as capable as putting the T-rex on the ropes deserved more than being reduced to just a filler dinosaur
hard agree. Real Triceratops is SO metal, and the movies just degrade it to a dinosaur cow.
I hate the fact how they upscale most of the other dinosaurs but made the trike almost half of its real counterparts height, weight, and mass in the films.
Where's our killer trikes, hollywood?
Putting both Brachiosaurus designs in the same tier is utterly unhinged.
I realized I loved this ranking when the buck and jp3 raptors were put in S tier, so good. Wish I caught the stream.
I think dilophosaurus is definitely an s tier. Sure scientific accuracy doesn’t exist, but the JP ceratosaurus, Spinosaurus and dilophosarus are so cool.
If you don't put Dilophosaurus in s teir. Get out
I would say that, but I think it got ruined in dominion. It was so stupid when Chris Pratt made the dilo choke on its venom.

@@TheSpinoDude I mean, the Hybrids, Carnotaurus, Stygimoloch, Apatosaurus, old JW Parasaurolophus, JW Ankylosaurus, JW Ceratosaurus and juv Allosaurus are very good...
And i personally enjoy the JW Pteranodon, Sinoceratops, Baryonyx and JW Trike too :,)
Save for some exceptions in Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, yes.

My S Tier would be Dilophosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, jp T-Rex, tlw velociraptor, tlw buck Rex, and jp3 Spinosaurus
Me n a few friends ranked the dinos. From all movies. But theres so many canon dinos. Even the first 3 movies. Theres like 60+ of em. Not including duplicates
Also galli is my fave jp dino. Sosha i agree. Galli is A teir.

The alpha raptor and echo are my top favorite raptors from the franchise. I think the pterosaur in jp3 is supposed to be a geosternbergia even though it has a different crest, most Jurassic park dinosaurs or prehistoric birds are female so I guess the females have a different crest? I have the Jurassic park 30th anniversary captivz pterosaur and it’s marked “geosternbergia” still having the wrong crest. Hammond collection geosternbergia is definitely the better version. That’s my opinion, not to go against yours, just thought it was funny too 😝😆😄

I'ma be real, I don't know the whole story outside of the Quilliam nickname. I just know I'm a goofy guy who enjoys goofy names.
Currently waiting to see if house renovations will be finished in time for a stream this week- if not, I'll do a double next. Unfortunate timing on my part to commit to a streaming schedule when my house is being ripped apart. I have some pre recorded videos to edit down in the meantime. :)

The JP1 raptors are way above TLW raptors. The JP3 ones are the best though.

JP1 dinosaurs looked exactly like Dinosaurs should look like according to 20th century paleo art before the 1970s. JP2 dinosaurs were too green. JP3 dinosaurs looked like a toned down blend of paleo art during the late 1970s and early 1990s.

Disagree with your take on Jurassic World's Triceratops, for me it is an upgrade over the original, it is both more up-to-date, has a more recognizable face and i would be lying if i sait it wasn't nostalgic for me :,)
It's actually the opposite for me- the JW design just made the JP trike more lumpy, gave it elephant skin instead of scales and even appears to have shrunk the horns and made the face look more droopy. :(

It's just so weird, the eyes are too low, the frill is ginormous and the back is too tall, almost like a bison, but well, we have different tastes afterall!
