You’re having the same issues I have with the new base. Just not enough weight and it’s not wide enough to support it. However added some rubber grips to the bottom and that helps with the sliding. Still not sold on it. Especially when Cyberzoic releases holding up all those big heavy fully armored dinos 😬
Mine arrived yesterday so when you made this video, It looks great ^^ although the arm parts fall off I can easily press them back together to be whole again and as you mentioned the new stand needs both feet to be on it so I'm using the clear old style stand, it might be my favourite so far.

There's only one detail I don't seem to notice: the downturn tip of the lower jaw, a very characteristic trait of Utahraptor, according to most sourcesI consulted, at some angles it seems to be there under the lips, but at some others I can't seem to distinguish it. If David Silva and their team did overlook this trait I'll have a difficult time getting over the high prize and biting the bullet with this one (as much as I want to). Would the 2023/24 Safari ltd Utahraptor seem like a good enough alternative to you? Because I'm torn between those two
Haven’t gotten a single Beasts of The Mesozoic figure before, but I’m honestly considering getting this thing; I love the Utahraptor. Also just for context, I don’t have many dinosaur figures; over 3/4s of the dinosaur figures I have are Transformers (two of which being the TransformersXJurassic toys), and I have six Hammond Collection figures I’ve gotten very recently. I may have absolutely loved dinosaurs as a kid (second only to my love of Transformers), but what I ALWAYS hated was the little to no articulation on every single dinosaur toy I ever saw as a kid; I was, and still am, someone who cares about articulation on my toys (just to a reasonable extent though), and I only recently discovered the Hammond Collection line when I saw a Therizinosaurus figure at a Target around a month ago.

Cannot wait for this Utah but I also cannot wait for the Achillobator! Once I get that Achillobator, I will be going to the Grand Canyon as soon as possible to do photos there since it’s based on the California Condor.
Also please be careful with the wrists and elbow joints, my copy had a wrist that liked to pop off from time to time and one of its elbows I had to repair
