@gelaguirre3363 they totally accepted each other but they were separate individuals with each of their own thoughts & feelings. It's too bad they didn't survive but they've moved on onto a different plane where they are both free!! This was a super difficult surgery & these beautiful young ladies took the chance knowing the risk. Being with their bio family wouldn't have made a difference & thete was bound to be complications in their near future because of how their brains were fused. Who's to say how long they would've lived.
They totally loved & accepted each other!! The fact is they were 2 separate beings fused together by a quirk while growing in the womb. The way those brains were being compressed as well, who knows how long they would've survived wvwn without that highly risky surgery. They were brave young ladies who made a conscious decision to get the surgery. I applaud them & wherever they are now, they're free!!
Seeing their funeral, with two separate coffins being carried by the crowd is so moving because their wish finally came true. Their courage and bravery will never be forgotten.
This documentary was both beautiful and heartbreaking. They couldn’t live conjoined anymore so went out for their dreams. The doctors did a fantastic job. RIP to the girls xx
Actually, Ben Carson took advantage of their desperation, and they died because of his incompetence. These two weren't the first he killed or crippled for life, and they weren't the last, sadly.
@libbyrust no, they were intelligent, brave and willing to do whatever it took to get that surgery. They made a conscious decision. They were aware of the risks and took the chance. This choice wasn't made overnight & neither was the decision by the Dr to do it. They were yes, desperate to be separated and be their own individuals doing what they desired & they took that chance. They weren't stupid by any means.
I remember I saw them on the street in Tehran waiting for Taxi right before they left to Singapore.we waved hands to each other.they were so energetic and happy. Rest in peace beautiful sisters
A true hero would have told them they would probably die if operated on. The doctors knew that going in. Their arrogance led them to think they could separate them. A doctors oath is to “First do no harm”. I think killing two adult women is doing harm. Doctors and nurses have a duty to be realistic with their patients; and we have a duty to tell them the truth even if the truth hurts.
@@lazybelphegore6748 yeah I’m sure the doctors painted the whole operation as sunshines and rainbows😓. All operations will have their pros and cons weighed out and patients fully informed of all possible outcomes before the decision is finally made for the go ahead; let alone an operation of this scale. One can only begin to imagine what it’s like to be stuck to another human being for your entire life. The pain, frustration, hopelessness to name a few(mentioned in the video that the twins has suffered from depression as well). So unless you are a conjoined twin yourself you will never fully understand how they were feeling at the time in order for them to make such a life changing decision of putting all their trusts and hopes into a team of doctors and possibly never waking up again from their decision . RIP 🙏
They really change the way we see twins, conjoined or not. People tend to just assume that twins are alike, which they show is not always the case. They were two separate people, and wanted to follow separate dreams. I think more people need to understand that they deserve separate credit and recognition.
@@MissOhio1980 I really wish that they had survived. They would have accomplished so much more, and it's sad that they are only really known about because of their conjoined-ness.
I remember when they passed - my mum was following the surgery religiously. I returned from school to see my mum broken-hearted. All she said when I looked at her with concern was "They didn't make it" then she wiped a single tear and asked if I was hungry.
RIP precious. Thank goodness they never knew what was going to happen. They were so happy before and had made so many plans. So sad. God bless you both.
@natalia gomez just because she asked if they were hungry doesn’t mean she moved on, what is grief supposed to look like ? Everyone grieves differently and her child still needed to be fed.
This is part of why full bodily autonomy is so incredibly important. We all have a right to make decisions for ourselves, even if the outcome may not have been what we hoped for. Thank goodness for medical teams like this.
I agree with you. They were already educated adults and suffering a lot and they understood the risks. They had accomplished a lot of things that a lot of us without any dissability could imagined. They could have lived together perhaps a couple of years but would had be a very painful dying.
They would be heroes had the girls lived. They tried something they never should’ve tried! Not heroes. Egotistical braggarts. They lied about what they could do ,they just wanted the attention it could give them and did and failed! They knew the girls were far too old to attempt that surgery yet the doctors who took over instead . He wasn’t a top neuro surgeon and contridicts Things he claims. The girls should have been seen by better neuro surgical specialists in first world countries. That dr took it on for the attention! He’s a disgrace to his field , the same field I was talking n before retiring. I have no respect for that Dr! He alone killed them when he should have sent them away!!
@@mazieg7072 A surgery of this magnitude is no easy feat! I could dedicate the rest of my life studying and still I'd have no idea how to perform the surgery in a way that would have been successful.
@@mazieg7072 Would you rather be a doctor who attempts life-saving surgery or decline so they will suffer slowly & most likely k*ll themselves since they made it perfectly clear they didn't want to live as conjoined twins? And I quote the neurosurgeon "The world didn't understand what was going on in their heads...almost 30 yrs. they've had to put up w/this & it was enough".
I hope the operating team realizes what the twins realized, the girls were prisoners of the other's body. It was a gamble worth taking, and I commend the staff and the twins for making such a brave, controversial decision.
You are joking!!! It was an impossible operation and the doctor knew that. He wanted to become famous!! The twins were attached for 30 years. They were used to that. I am sorry for these people that believe in everything included a god who doesn't exist.
@@jsb2195 - Absolutely not! The surgical team was always honest with the girls that death could be a possibility for them. And the twins had discussed that subject themselves LONG before doctors got involved. They were going to be separated even if it meant dying, because life joined together was no longer an option either of them was willing to accept. They made that decision years before they started meeting with doctors. And it is the reason Dr. Goh took months to decide whether or not he was willing to attempt surgery. If the twins were able to speak now they would tell the world that they have NO regrets, and that they do NOT hold the surgical team responsible for their deaths. This was a decision that they faced and decided on long before surgery.
I was thinking they would have maneuvered to bury them separated in body, but the same grave, since they had gone through life joined, but still, in the end, separated as they'd so desperately wanted.
I just thinking about whole familes who died together and were buried together. As many as five members in one casket. This, during the Victorian era. Say, from lead or other heavy metal poisoning.
I have a feeling that the first one who passed waited that 90 minutes to see if her sister had the strength to survive but in the end called to her and they went together. This is such a sad and heartbreaking story. The doctors did what they could and I'm sure they are heartbroken too. RIP.
What a beautiful life story and the love they had for each other and the world had for them, especially the medical teams and en tire staff members. God bless all of you for the hope and love throughout this journey.
I respect what you said, but I believe they could not live without each other. The separation wasn’t only physical, maybe that was killed them, may they Rest In Peace.
50 hours of surgery. God bless those doctor, nurses, and all staff members for doing this surgery. Would have been nice if they were alive. Rest in peace sweet angels.
I'm some gamer guy from the US watching this and I'm rooting for them the entire time. Tragic, I was hoping they'd both go on to live happy lives and be what they wanted. They died for something they wanted and I respect those brave women. Rip
“I want to be a lawyer for women, not for men….they can take care of themselves” 😂 what an iconic line from an iconic woman….I hope their family is okay these days, they suffered a massive loss of two beautiful and strong personalities. ❤ I’m glad I got to know them at least a bit through this documentary….they will never be forgotten, nor will their amazing strength and passion for life.
The fact that no one was brave enough to separate them earlier, before their brains had fused, is ultimately what led to their death...I commend the doctor that tried...he knew they would meet an unfortunate end either way and gave them the one thing they had always wished for...God bless him...and God bless the sisters...RIP
That is not true. The fact they shared one major vein is what was the problem. The previous doctor who reviewed this knew it was not possible because they shared that drainage vein. He mentioned the pressure because in a few years the growing pressure could cause their death anyways so he’s trying to feel less guilty about their death. He shouldn’t feel guilt and no one should blame him for trying. They couldn’t live that way anymore. They knew what they wanted. They are with God now in peace.
I was so excited to see them happy at the end. My heart sank and it made me cry to hear that Ladan had passed, and then that her sister was gone as well. At least they are in heaven together, separated. Rest in peace, God has received two new angels 🕊️

They do not believe in heaven so how can you say they are there? You first have to believe Jesus, they were Iranians so Jesus is a no , no to them. So how can they go to Jesus whom they hated, because of what comes out of your mouth. Repent Acts2 verse 38. That’s the where you start first. Even they do not believe what you wrote here.
If there were a god they would not have been born this way in the first place. It is a tragic accident of nature that these things happen. It certainly isn't part of any god's "plan".
They clearly did what they wanted and I think sadness is misplaced. They knew the risk and they still chose to do it. And they did tons for medical science by taking the risk. I'm proud of their bravery and determination and that's what they should be remembered for.
the last minute when one of them says will always be with each other even after separation, was the moment i couldnt hold on my tears. they were separated as they wanted, but still together after death. hope you are in paradise, beautiful souls... RIP :(
I am highly impressed by the tolerance of the Iranian people....Doctor "you have twin daughters" Father "praise God.....Doctor "sir you dont understand they are joined at the head" Father "Praise God"...What an inspiration from so many people in this documentary from the medical staff to the family to the ladies them selves....Peace,be still.
I have watched this video 3 times already and i fell in love with this sad but hurtful story ....i wish they would of survived.....rest in peace ladys .....
It wasn’t as much tolerance as much as they had nothing to do but accept anything and everything since they had zero say about anything done to them or their daughters who were stolen from them as newborns. They accept everything without question because they have no other choice as the story goes on to explain. They never had any say in what happened so since their girls birth. I firmly believe they either accepted or as past storeirs have shown people get imprisoned for life or worse death!! Either agree with their government or risk their lives so they learned either as children or young adults to accept whatever they are told by whoever and especially those with education but never question authorities or those above them in society. If they question authorities they risk everything!! Including their lives. Dad that’s how many 3rd world countries live . People have no say. Accept or risk you and your families lives.
@@mazieg7072 You’re talking about those in power but the OP was referring to the people of Iran. I have visited Iran twice and I can honestly say I have never met nicer more friendly people.
This is sad story, but also a story of great bravery and strength in the two women. I don’t understand the controversy they, the two of them, wanted this it was their choice, as it should be. All my heart goes to the family of the two women.
It was a sad story but both women were so brave and very strong willed. It was their decision n they basically said they would be with the other one wherever the other went, after the this was over.
I hear ya, really I agree. The thing is I don't think I could stand to be attached to another person, I mean, physically, literally. Even if it were one of my sisters, if one of them had been my twin. I feel so bad that it didn't turn out better for them!!!
JonalynI I agree with what you said , you're right. Our society likes to bring drama into everything. When they say controversial, I don't think they meant for the girls. That is more towards the Dr's bc of the fact this type had never been accomplished before.
Like soldiers in war, they fought on bravely knowing they may not survive the battle....Their courage was great, as was that of their medical team. R.I.P. God bless.

Thank you for doing the surgery. It was what they wanted. The surgeons are true Heros for doing the procedure. We all need to choose how we live. They deserved the chance to live as they wanted. ❤️
I'm so sorry they did not make it but I am happy that they got their wish, to find someone to help them. They were fully aware of the dangers but still wanted a normal life. Blessings to them and their family and friends. May they rest in peace.
These doctors did a wonderful job supporting the two women, and trying to help them live as they truly wanted to. Despite things not going as planned, those wonderful women wanted their dream, and these physicians tried to make that dream come true. I’m glad they were together. I think that’s how they would have wanted it.
I saw the story of these young ladies when they had just died, and have watched this video several times over the years since. I still cry every time I watch this. It breaks my heart that they couldn't be separated. No matter what, they still would have been connected. By the heart. You could tell how much they loved each other. God bless them.

Holly my 90 yr old mother said virtually the same words as yourself during dinner this evening..wise words indeed that will no doubt challenge certain types of people 😉lol
I remember the huge coverage this story received back in the days and what struck me, beside the peculiarity of the condition, was how beautiful they were. The tragedy of pioneering surgeries of this scale is that there is no precedent to draw experience from and doctors, no matter how reputed, find themselves entirely into uncharted territory. Medicine has advanced immensely in late years, so looking back on it I don't know what is more heartbreaking, the thought that it ended as it did or that, had they struggled maybe a few more years, a successful separation may have been possible.
How sad but I can only think that these two women very well knew the risks involved in separation and to them the chance of being able to live independent lives was worth that risk. What a remarkable story of two remarkable women.
That was really awesome, God was ready for them .they are 2 of Gods special angels.in heaven. They are both looking down on all of you from heaven.that is so sad. They are with JESUS NOW.
I truly commend all the doctors and nurses who spent endless hours with these two lovely ladies to be of help to them. It is beyond sad that they are both gone now but I do believe that they are together and their souls rest in peace. A very heartwarming and sad story.
Good on that doctor and all of the others for at least trying so hard to give them the life they always wanted. That's what I would want my doctor to do too.
It was very clear when when one Twin said. No I’m kidding I’ll be with you wherever you go even after surgery no one will separate us she was very clear that if they will be alive they will live together and if they die they will die together no one’s separate them it was a very powerful message that I will never forget I’m A twin as well
The doctor is great. He should think that both of them thought that upon waking up they were going to be separated.. When they died they entered another dimension and noticed that they were finally separated..They walked towards the light knowing that finally their wish came through and all thanks to this great man and doctor that gave them hope!!.
It is still painful to watch this doc, after nearly 2 decades of their passing, I am still sad. God bless them ... They deserve the promised heaven ....

When it comes to brain surgery , it's really tough for all the Doctors, but thanks to all of them who makes it all possible from impossible situations.
This was heartbreaking. Right after surgery, when one twin died, my heart went out to the other twin, about how she would have to live without her twin, but then she died. These young ladies were so inspiring, to me. Not letting a disability get them down they went to law school. While many with no disability sit back, and whine. They were really out there in the world, being an asset, making a difference. They were so vibrant, and alive I really and truly thought they would survive, after the surgery. This made me very sad. And you sure can't blame the doctors. The moment I saw the head doctor I could tell just by his calm speaking, he was a good doctor, who did things methodical, and not just jumping up doing something. Then picked other doctors, from around the world, to assist. They had the very, very best, but it was just such a complicated, and delicate surgery. They were beautiful sisters, and they did more in their lifetime, than many of us have done, in ours. They will be remembered. ✌🏽❤🙏🏻🌷🌲Rest in PARADISE sweethearts, where you'll be given new bodies.🌷🌲
I was 7 when they came to Singapore. The news reported them as two beautiful, educated, independent girls who just knew what they wanted to do with their lives. I remember seeing in the news that one wanted to be a lawyer and the other wanted to be a journalist. So, in my very young, immature and naive mind, I imagined two pretty Kaka (as we'd often call Muslim girls older than ourselves here) prancing around, separated. In my head, the lawyer twin was going to be all solemn and strict while the journalist twin was going to report on everything she wanted the world to see. All I saw on TV after a few months, however, were these Kakas carried out in their separate caskets. Even then I cried, I hadn't quite been able to fully comprehend the concept of death, being just 7. Now that I'm 20 and finally seeing this again (after having avoided the video for quite a while), I cried. I cried again for the two Kakas that had sort of stepped into my life for a while. I believe that it was Laleh that'd planted the seed to my wanting to become an author - naturally, I was in tears again.
I knew from the get go they would die from the comments but I still cried from the pain so many felt for their lose. Two courageous individuals who entered this hectic world together and went back home together. I have not spoken to my only sister for over 4 years and at 45 I dread the thought of leaving this plane without speaking, hugging her and saying I love you like we did when we did speak. They definitely left a mark in everyone who met them, including me. Thank you for this story of love, companionship, endurance and freedom.🙏💝

I remember I was assigned to report this in school the week the news came out that the surgery will begin and I was really moved by their story. When I found out they died I got sad. Watching this documentary makes me tear up because I have a sister and I imagine you know how hard it is to lose your sister. I am not Muslim, but I know it is irrelevant; God is with them now and they are living happy, separate lives with Him.
it's really sad but they made their choice, I don't think they would want people to feel sorry for them. they did everything they could and so did the doctors but sometimes things just go wrong. at least they were buried as two separate people.
They seem like they were such lovely people. So sad they didn't make it. I remember this story from when I was a child and have always thought of them and how their lives would've turned out if they made it. Rest well sisters
Rest in peace Ladan and Laleh in heaven may you both walk hand in hand in true freedom . You have touched so many peoples lives who shed tears when you were called home to heaven now you have earned your wings fly free
This surgery was literally a do or die situation. When you think about it, they were a ticking time bomb. As the Doctor said, the brain continuing to squish could have led to a stroke, or blindness. You could see the Laleh’s eye movements were already affected by the optical nerves being smashed. If one had a stroke, or passed away.. what would the other one have done? Wheeled a body around in a chair? When they got older if they ever needed to be in a wheelchair then what? They would both need them to be at the same height. However, they wouldn’t have the space needed between them to allow that. Any scenario you think of, it would be a fiasco for the other, or both. This really was do or die for them. I believe they knew that for themselves. RIP to them both.
i remember watching the news the night they were going into surgery, the next morning i woke up turning on the tv, expecting to see them apart, only to find out they both died, i cryed my eyes out.
Such inspiring ladies. They made the decision to separate even if it meant dying. Their journey together as one unit had come to an end. They quit the life they had for a chance at the one they wanted. How many people with a 100% chance of survival, quit their old useless life to start over a new one? To be able to give up what we know for the unknown is truly courageous. These ladies are truly role models, they made the decision to go after the life they would love, even if it meant dying. But honestly, if I were them, I would have chosen the mindset of humility and gratitude, to accept what I had and to continue living.
I just watched their story. It devastated me😭😭😭. I was clueless that the operation would be their last glance of life. I can relate how their parents were hurt and so was I when my daughter died a couple of years ago. But nevertheless, I admired their bravery, and their parents', the doctors', and all their supportive community. 🙏🙏🙏 Your journey was such a story of courage.
The parents had to track their own children down. I know they were poor but it seemed like they had little choice to be involved with their girls. The mother awoke after giving birth and her girls were already taken away.
Yes. They are in a better place. May Allah Bless them. every soul shall test death. We are not meant to leave in this world forever and this was just a reason for their death. They must be in a better position now. May ALLAH(SW) have mercy on them, you, me and everyone . In Sha Allah
I don’t remember ever hearing of this story so I wasn’t familiar with it when I began watching the documentary. These two beautiful young ladies showed such courage with boundless energy and unyielding faith. About mid way through the video, I found myself praying they would make it through, that they would find a doctor willing to perform the surgery and both come out of it separated and healthy…but I knew the chances were slim when I realized that there was no footage of them after the fact. I hoped it was just because they didn’t want to give the ending away and saved the best part for last but in my heart I knew that probability was slim. In their young lives, they have touched and had a profound affect on everyone who knew them and even some who did not. God bless their beautiful souls 🙏🏻
What courageous, inspiring and beautiful young women they had become. I'm devastated to know that they were not able to live with their successful separation and enjoy physical autonomy. Their incredible struggle and yet, almost always smiling, despite the strain it was having on them both. How wonderful it was to witness the deeply caring and nurturing approach the doctors took and it really shows me that not all doctors understand what a precious and important skill they possess. I so wish they would have made it. The world is at a greater loss without them in it.
I was very struck by the head Dr's insight. He could read twin's personality and profile very quickly Ladan was outgoing yet its just putting on act. Lalei was an actual dominant. Both had own personality and were very lovely. They were funny too. Very inspiring...
I was hoping that these 2 women were still alive but I became suspicious while watching the first half because I didn't see any footage of them separated, so I had a feeling they didn't make it. I held onto the hope that they survived and now I'm heartbroken. They seemed like kind and intelligent women, they deserved so much more from life. Rest in peace Ladan and Laleh. (I never heard of these women before, so when I was watching this documentary I had no idea what happened in this situation.)
At the beginning of the footage it showed the girl looking at twin sisters photograph but it had black ribbon and black flower on the flame of this picture... well, that means this girl was looking at the picture of the one who is deceased already.
I watched other twin separation. England twins. In this case after separation surgery, the stronger one made it. Yet she doesnt have left arm n leg since the other sister had that. I felt like other sister sacrificed for other half all her life.
I love this documentary, even though it ends very sad. I can’t help to think that the twins (if they knew the surgery would fail), they wouldn’t have done it. Clearly they were willing to die trying. It’s kind of unfortunate. They were extremely brave women. Sometimes I watch this documentary when I’m feeling down and start thinking I have it hard in life (born with a chronic disease). It reminds me that good people out there have it much harder. It’s incredibly impressive the confidence, and inner and outter strength these women had.
@@bitchyeyebrows they were extremely brave. I’m just glad that it appeared they had a pretty decent life while they lived (given the situation). College educated, people who loved them, they danced and enjoyed life. ❤️
Nobody thought it was going to fail, even tho there was a chance they could die...The twins knew about that chance but they wanted this so bad they were willing to take that chance. I like to imagine they both woke up from surgery in a parallel universe - able to see each other face to face and enjoy their separate worlds following their own dreams… or maybe reborn into the same life, but this time instead of being separated from their parents and a surgeon who may have been able to successfully operate on them as babies - allowing them to grow up as individuals who had a spectacular birth with a miraculous outcome, but grew up healthy, well, and living out their blessings ❤️ I hope in some world, somewhere out there in the universe, this life of them being conjoined at the head for 29 years, was merely a wild dream they both happened to have on the same night, and woke up laughing about it but hugging as they joke in bewilderment of such a dream ✨👁️

Not to mention, after 8 hours surgeries can be risky.
Doctors can’t have regretted it was the twins wish to take the risk.
They remained true to their words.. separated but never apart ❤️ "I'll be with you wherever you go"

You can sense the guilt the neurosurgeon is experiencing, even though he did the right thing by trying to separate them.
A true unsung hero.
They told them the risk. They knew that it was dangerous they understood one or both could die, and still said they'd roll the dice.
@@lazybelphegore6748 YOU REALLY THINK THE TWINS WERE NOT TOLD?
@@lazybelphegore6748 you're ridiculous.
RIP 🙏
The saddest part is that their parents weren't able to raise them. These ladies were brave.

The fact that this exists is completely unbelievable. I cant fathom living like this.
They really change the way we see twins, conjoined or not. People tend to just assume that twins are alike, which they show is not always the case. They were two separate people, and wanted to follow separate dreams.
I think more people need to understand that they deserve separate credit and recognition.
Yeah you can literally be attached at the brain and be as different as night and day

There is a lot to learn from this story. Your point well taken....
The doctors involved are heros. Even though the girls are gone they died fulfilling their dream.
I hope the operating team realizes what the twins realized, the girls were prisoners of the other's body. It was a gamble worth taking, and I commend the staff and the twins for making such a brave, controversial decision.
They caused twins death tho

That is not true. The fact they shared one major vein is what was the problem. The previous doctor who reviewed this knew it was not possible because they shared that drainage vein. He mentioned the pressure because in a few years the growing pressure could cause their death anyways so he’s trying to feel less guilty about their death.

Kylie Wilson too bad god is too busy been sadistic in life
An amazing story of love and courage...God bless those that tried. These young women touched lives around the world.
The strength, beauty, and magnanimity of the human spirit should never be underestimated.
😭
I was just a kid at that time but I do remember how we all were praying and hoping
for the operation to go through well.
One thing crosses all religions and cultures the loss of a loved one is the same feeling for all.
#TRUTH
Absolutely 😢
Didnt they have family that loved them? Why r u saying that.
We should all be grateful for the life we have. So much sorrow and pain they went through!
God bless them!!

It’s so sad that they didn’t survive. God knows best.

MAGICAL?!?! Idiot.

I began to love this twins. They complimented each other so well. They had sense of humor too. God bless them...
I was so rooting for them... I'm sure they are so happy where ever they are....what a journey....blessing to all the medical staff that tried. 💞
i remember watching the news the night they were going into surgery, the next morning i woke up turning on the tv, expecting to see them apart, only to find out they both died, i cryed my eyes out.
Very courageous girls, I admire them.
CLXT they were ungrateful for their lives so they were put to death

Shut up plz.
Your journey was such a story of courage.
Omg I was really trying not to read the comments because I really wanted them to both make it. 😢😢 man
LeKa Danielle -- Ditto 😢
me too, but i did.
I PROMISE TO GOD!!! I DIDN'T READ THE COMMENTS TILL AFTER. I WAS HOPING THEY'LL MAKE IT...SO SAD
O
Your beautiful
Can we give an applaud to the loving adopted parents?
And the parents and the Doctors, friends & loved ones
"Applause" is the correct term not applaud and "adopting" parents not adopted parents!
The parents had to track their own children down. I know they were poor but it seemed like they had little choice to be involved with their girls. The mother awoke after giving birth and her girls were already taken away.
They were stolen not adopted them.
very sad :-(. may God have mercy on them and grant them Heaven.
There is no heaven, so fortunately they don't need your psycho god's mercy and are asleep tight
+Pluto Mars ohhh...so you are the person to noe prove that there is not?
Pluto Mars believe what you want and let us have our own belief.
+pluto mars, your almighty let this happen, let them die, is that the will of your allah?
Yes. They are in a better place. May Allah Bless them. every soul shall test death. We are not meant to leave in this world forever and this was just a reason for their death. They must be in a better position now. May ALLAH(SW) have mercy on them, you, me and everyone . In Sha Allah
well I guess I'll add another one to my list of most depressing documentaries ever
Same
can you share that list

uh
heartbreaking beyond belief.
God.bless
God bless the doctors and nurses n supporters who helped them rip
The title says it.
It is so terribly sad that their parents were not told where they were being taken! How the mom and dad must have suffered!
You can’t help but love these women.
I agree.. I was telling my mom that these are two brave women
They were willing to take the risk. That's how uncomfortable, painful, and miserable they were.
I was actually surprised the doctors were willing to separate them,..its just so risky.. But in the end they were separated and buried in two separate graves side by side...
@@sandisandii2033 it was TOP NOTCH surgeons from all over the world that took on the challenge of separating these twins (free of charge).
Including Ben Carson (American brain surgeon that ran for the presidency recently) along with many other highly skilled doctors.
If the doctors succeeded at this separation, they would become beyond famous… it’s why they do that. But yeah it was risky.
Most Siamese twins I hear are better off separated when they are much younger.
I can’t help but wonder, if heaven or an afterlife exists, are these women separated or conjoined in the afterlife?? ❤️
Extraordinary and profoundly moving story. I remember the reports and was too hopeful for the sisters...and deeply saddened to hear the surgery was not a success. Funny how we become accustomed to happy endings when there are probably more of the opposite. But I feel they are in a better world and hopefully happy there...together and apart
*Such beautiful, intelligent, articulate, women. To accomplish so much in the short lives they had, not to mention their abnormality. It's amazing !! It humbles me and makes me ashamed of myself at the same time. I am very envious of their courage and spirit. How I would have loved to have met them and been their friend. May they rest in peace.* 😓💜
Sober Otis
You said it. They were all those things. I think they had to 'go for it' though. Bless their souls x
Rest in peace
God bless you all
I like to imagine they both woke up from surgery in a parallel universe - able to see each other face to face and enjoy their separate worlds following their own dreams… or maybe reborn into the same life, but this time instead of being separated from their parents and a surgeon who may have been able to successfully operate on them as babies - allowing them to grow up as individuals who had a spectacular birth with a miraculous outcome, but grew up healthy, well, and living out their blessings ❤️ I hope in some world, somewhere out there in the universe, this life of them being conjoined at the head for 29 years, was merely a wild dream they both happened to have on the same night, and woke up laughing about it but hugging as they joke in bewilderment of such a dream ✨👁️
❤️
This is how I think, too. The world is mysterious; a dream within a dream. I pray whatever is beyond that it brought them peace and joy.
god bless the twins...god bless the doctors at least they tried
I remember this on the news back then. It's nice having TH-cam bringing us the more personal part of their lives. May they rest in peace.
I remember when this happened. I followed their story and became genuinely depressed at the news that one, then the other, had passed away away during their surgery in Singapore.
My heart is so sad from this. :-(
mine too dude i was happy cause they got the wish and sad they didn't make it :( :( RIP girls

Andrew Jackson, had you done the simplest bit of research you would have found that yes, in fact the Islamist faith does believe in angels. In the time of our vast internet there is no excuse for this type of ignorance. www.islamreligion.com/articles/41/belief-in-angels/
